I went to this UPS store because I wanted to ship a large amount of sentimental items from Jupiter to Massachusetts. The items included my grandchildren's handprints in clay, my husbanad's items from USMC and other family momentos. VICTOR assured me that he would carefully wrap and ship everything carefully. As much as I wanted to believe him, I was indeed sceptical. I could not be more wrong. He carefully wrapped and boxed the items to insure safe transit. When I unwrapped the items, I was extremely pleased to see that NOTHING WAS DAMAGED AND EVERYTHING WAS PACKED WITH EXTRA CARE. What I thought was a kind offer was actually a $15 packing fee. What I thought would be a free return for my merchandise turned into a $26 total cost due to this fee. If I had known I could have stuck a return label on a box myself, I would have saved the $15. I'm only writing this review because I'm really bummed to have wasted my money and hope UPS reaches out to make things right. To me, the experience felt sleazy. read more

I tried to mail an antique (1866) pistol (not working but a family heirloom) to a friend and was told their store does not ship such items, albeit UPS advertises it does such shipping and federal law allows individuals to mail such old pistols (pre-1888) with requiring a federal firearms license. What shocked me most is that a few years earlier, I had mailed an antique Civil War rifle to this same friend from this same store! Begs the question: what good is a UPS store if it does not ship according to UPS advertised capabilities? NOTE: Store owner Maria's response below to this is incorrect. They do NOT need a firearms license (or any government license relating to firearms) to ship pre-1898 firearms), defined as ANTIQUES. I even queried UPS HQ and provided this store with a corporate letter stating their store MAY ship ANTIQUE revolvers like the 1862 Colt Civil War revolver of mine she refused to ship. She kept the letter as well. I tend to think her reasons are politically motivated, and certainly not financially because antique revolvers like mine are being shipped in the thousands every year as collectors like myself insist on preserving our great heritage for the younger generation. And, yes, that great heritage includes our Civil War and the weapons used in same. . read more

My husband forgot an item at home on an international trip. Jo helped me to send a package so that he would receive it in time. She was kind and helpful. I've had such horrible experiences at the UPS store closer to my home. I drove a little further down the road and I am so glad I did. read more

I shipped a vacuum from this ups store to my house and paid $190.00 and bought the insurance. The vacuum arrived broke and after several calls, 6 weeks of waiting and claims they said I didn't package it correct. This business will sell you the insurance, charge you a huge fee and not back their project.....it's a shame ! read more

What a disappointing experience we had today. We walked into the store so my friend could ship something back home and things got just weird once we entered the store. Two ladies were there talking and my friend said "hello" but both ladies just ignored us. No answer, no greeting. We tried to discuss the best shipping method to use and the lady (black, straight hair and glasses) just didn't want to give is the time of day. We purchased a box and gave up on shipping from there. We went to the FedEx store instead. Better price and better service. If you don't want to deal with people, don't work in retail. read more

I had two antique chairs (family heirlooms) shipped from Jupiter to my home in San Jose, California. Maria helped me arrange everything over the phone, including pickup, wrapping and shipping. The chairs arrived in perfect condition and right on time! They were wrapped with great care, which I greatly appreciate. I was thrilled with the service given! Throughout the experience I felt that Maria and her colleagues treated my chairs with as much TLC as they would their own. read more

Even one star is too generous ! The service is terrible. It was one lady in the store and no costumers but us, and she didn't bordered to explain the different ways to ship sensitive documents. I didn't even know that they send things through the regular usps and that my documents were sent through usps from them instead of the ups service. If i border to go to a ups store it's obvious I want the ups service. read more

I had a blank canvas panel shipped to this store, and picked it up on my way to my painting location. At that time, I asked for a quote for return shipping with an insured value equaling the price of my commission. When I returned a week later to ship the finished painting, the price to ACTUALLY ship it was more than four times the quoted price! The reason given for the increase is that the associate that gave me the quote no longer worked there. It was a complete waste of time to unwrap my packed painting to initiate "proper" packing by store personnel. Management was not helpful, starting with doubting he value of my insurance. However, the clerk was helpful, offering tape to repack my piece. From there I went five minutes down the road to seek the same service from a competitor, where service was pleasant and the final shipping price was HALF the original quote! I saved a lot of money, and could have saved a lot of grief had I gone elsewhere to begin with. read more

I have lived in Jupiter for over 10years and never been to this store before except for one time and will never go back. Worst customer service I have ever experienced!! John, Maria and Jennifer were not helpful and could really care less about their customers. There are plenty of other stores in the area and nearby that actually care about their customers and treat them with respect. read more
