I paid over $40 dollars to send a document 2-day air with signature. The document was never delivered, it was waited upon the entire expected arrival day. The package was picked up on day 3. Do Not bother paying extra for a service not rendered, best service for the price is apparently still the USPS. read more

I'd like to give them another half star because they are "efficient" but just not very friendly (except there is, or was, one guy that was pretty good but I think he left to pursue other dreams). They greet you a you enter but with no enthusiasm. Very seldom a "thank you" and when they make an error on the charged amount for service, no "I'm sorry, my error", just "I thought it was (excuse)". Maybe it's because I don't have a mailbox account with them and just go there to fax and laminate documents (monthly). If there was another place convenient for me in this area to get this done, I would. As I said at the beginning, they are efficient in doing their job but they could show a bit more enthusiasm or at least smile to show appreciation that they have a job; it's customers that fund their paychecks. read more

I visited this store over the weekend to send a couple of items out. It was quick, efficient, and the employees friendly. The employees were all wearing masks and tape was marked on the ground to advise people were to stand in order to provide ample distance from one another. They were extremely busy yet I still had a pleasant experience. Will be back for future mail services. read more

This was such a welcomed contrast to FedEx in Kaneohe where they wanted $35 for regular delivery or $45 for express, plus they said I had to buy one of their approved boxes. And they were rude and mean. Frank ("like in Sinatra" who, may or may not, have had blue eyes, but was style and charm) listened sympathetically to my tales of woe about FedEx and told me that the box was fine and then both weighted it and measured it to see how he could get me the best price. I ended up paying $17 (more than USPS- who does not deliver to University of Nevada dorms- but MUCH better than $45). I had some wolf stickers on the old wrap with the address (UNR wolfpack-fun huh?) and while I was digging around in my purse, Frank even peeled them off and stuck them on the new wrap. Now that's customer service! Or maybe just being a good person making another's day brighter. read more

STAY AWAY from this Kailua UPS store to save time and frustrations. The staff are mindlessly with no common sense trying to create job security for themselves or perhaps poorly trained by incompetent management. This is the 2nd time i am return a product back to Amazon using a preprinted prepaid shipping label from Amazon. The staff asked me what is in the small box and i said it is a defective smart watch. The staff then asked whether the watch has a battery, and i said yes but it is a non replaceable built-in charge battery. The staff told me i have the wrong shipping label because items with batteries required ground transportation rather than air transportation. i reminded the staff that the shipping destination is on the mainland and we live on an island. The staff said sorry, i need to contact Amazon to print the correct type of shipping label for them to deliver it. So i went to another UPS store and experiences no such mindless idiot workers as the ones in the Kailua store. read more

This is one of the better UPS locations. They are fast and quick and acknowledge you when you come in. I usually drop off my Amazon returns here, and it's not busy. If there is a short line, it goes by quickly. Easily accessible, free parking and right by the Foodland and Whole Foods. So I can drop off and do the rest of my shopping. Glad they are on the Windward side, the town locations are so out of the way. read more

I looked at some bad reviews before getting a PO Box here and almost decided against it. So many packages and mail were getting stolen or whatever happened to them at my regular address, and I wanted to try the UPS Store. I'm very glad I did. No longer do I worry about missing packages and who 'grabbed' them before I could. Everyone has been very friendly, customers are considerate about social distancing, and wait outside if there are more than a few people waiting for service. I even had an employee run out to my vehicle to give me a package that had just come in. I had one small hiccup with a package and Brenda who I think is a manager, was kind and attentive about resolving the issue. Actually within 5 minutes of leaving the store I received a very (unnecessarily) apologetic call from her that they resolved the issue. I trust when I shop online that I will receive my packages now and always feel welcome coming in the store. Thank you!! read more

A one-stop shop for frustration and bizarre business practices! I'm a self-employed fellow who ships lots and lots of packages. Years ago, I used the Kailua UPS store (back then it was the Mail-box Etc.) exclusively, but new management has made it all but impossible for me to mail things here. Simply put, the store wont insure a box unless they pack it up for you (for a ridiculous fee). I've been able to argue them into insuring a box that I packed, but who wants to go through that when the Post Office is cheaper, friendlier, and much more knowledgeable. You may have noticed I'm the Duke of this establishment. I do continue to buy boxes from these folks - as they are the only place in Kailua with a good assortment of cardboard boxes - but I ship them elsewhere, and as soon as someone else in Kailua starts carrying cardboard shipping boxes I'll happily abandon this dukedom! :) read more

After days of research, planning, careful packing, weighing and printing out of all the UPS.com quotes - I took my package to The UPS store as instructed by UPS.com. At that time, these people tried to nickel and dime me for EVERYTHING. First they said they wouldn't insure it because they didn't pack it. Well, that's BS because I could have scheduled a pick up at my house and it would be insured! Then they try to charge me for a signature! WTH? I'm shipping UPS not 1st class mail, of COURSE I want a signature and NO I'm not paying extra for it. Every single issue I disputed based on the print out from UPS.com. So if you MUST drop off anything at this place, prepare to pay through the nose for just walking in the door. Or come prepared with UPS.com print outs - or schedule a pick-up on your end. These guys are HORRIBLE and a poor representation of UPS. read more

The UPS store in Kailua is requiring a waiver of rights before rendering any notary services. I was denied notary service by the notary because I refused to sign the waiver or waive any of my rights. I gave notice to the notary at the UPS store and the UPS store owner that the requirement to waive any of my rights before having any documents notarized is a violation of law and the notary's duty because she allowed a company policy to take precedent before proper procedure, to which she replied, "Well, do what you have to do". So, that's what I'm doing now. I reported it and will be seeking remedy for injury. I suggest that anyone else that has been subject to this violation of law do the same. read more

Workers here are pretty rude. They don't seem to care about social distancing the customers. They don't help customers in any sort of fashion. I had a really rude employee asking why my Husband's Name is Muslim name. Thanks to Covid our plans for matrimony is on hold. The last thing I need to deal with an employee making Islamophobic comments. this kailua ups is BUSY so call before you go to avoid the crowds. They printed two posters for me and I forgot my glasses so couldn't SEE that one was blurry and poorly done. The other one was fine. The SALESPERSON should have been honest and re-printed a bad print. When i got home and e mailed them that the e mailed pic printed poorly--they not only NEVER answered but refused a REFUND. BAH. They are the ONLY place in Kailua to do pictures in color from artwork so I'm stuck unless I want to waste gas to Kaneohe. The one time I DID go to the Kaneohe store they were totally friendly and helpful there. Bah! read more

Brenda at the Kailua store is an angel. I had 3 guitars to ship all the way to Chicago, and they belonged to my husband, who recently passed away. She took such good care of them, and got them out quicker than expected. They arrived with not so much as a dent on the outside boxes. Extremely poor customer service. Worst than going to the post office if that says anything. Came to return 2 boxes that was ordered in one shipment. I printed the QR code but come to find out it required two different QR codes. Asked to borrow the computer to retrieve return instructions, but they were going to charge me by the minute. Zero Stars... The 2 clerks working on Saturday 06/14/14 @ 11:00 am have ZERO competence in customer service. I walked in there with 4 boxes with Amazon.com PRE-PAID labels affixed to each box. All 4 labels had the same tracking number. The cocky female clerk said they could not accept that. I asked what was the weight on the PRE-PAID label? "60 pounds". Well guess what?,,, on The UPS Store scale, the 4 boxes totaled 60 pounds. I suggested I bundle the 4 boxes to make one 60 pound box... she said "NO!,,, the UPS driver might not accept it". Her male counter part was of no help except trying to psychologically evaluate who I was mad at. Uh, DUH!... I was mad at you idiots for not accepting this PRE-PAID shipment to your LARGEST customer. As I am trying to educate them on the mistake they are making, the female clerk is rolling her eyes at me while assisting another customer... That didn't help AT ALL. SO, I had to load the boxes back into my truck, drive another 30minutes back to home and call Amazon... Amazon says, "we don't understand, we ship thousands of packages that way through UPS everyday"!? Next call is to UPS Store HQ on Monday. These 2 clerks need someone to train them properly. Unfortunately, this is the only UPS Store on the Windward side. If they keep up this level of arrogance, they will be put out of business too. read more

Awful customer service. I visited this location to return a package to Amazon. The associate who served me was called Brenda. She was so rude and unhelpful. I had a few questions to ask her about the return she ignored me at first and then didn't even look up at me when she finally answered. I also asked where I could purchase supplies and she sarcastically said behind you - without looking up or pointing, like I should have known. Seriously is it too much to be polite and courteous to your customers? I won't use this location again. Miserable store. read more

I went in to the store today just to use the computer to print up some papers, but what I got was a full service, one-stop, awesome experience. Brenda was so helpful, and friendly. She took care of my faxes, notarization, and shipping needs, quickly but without making me feel rushed. Candace was also very friendly in answering a few question. Just came back from here and I'm a bit surprised by the bad reviews. My experience was rather normal as far as UPS stores go. It was not crowded, but I came in on a Weds afternoon around 3:30. The parking lot is small so I parked across the street. Which was not a big deal at all, but I also was not carrying anything heavy. I thought the employees were both very pleasant and helpful. I don't have high expectations when it comes to a packaging store, I mostly just want to get whatever I'm shipping off my hands and in the mail. I won't hesitate to come back here every time I need a package shipped. read more
