We had some very challenging spaces that we needed to use for storage and Adam came up with some…read morereally great designs. He created a great closet for our guest bedroom/office utilizing the 15 foot high ceiling in the closet, creating shelves all the way up for storage of luggage and Christmas decorations in a nice out-of-the-way place. We also had a laundry room that had a strange triangular jetty that we wanted to use for a pantry. It had previously just been a couple of hooks on the wall to hang stuff. Adam created this really cool pantry set up that we just love. We worked with a couple other closet companies, but nobody else came up with an idea anywhere close to this. I hired them to replace a closet pantry. They never explained they expected me to do the demo. I…read morefound out 2 days before installation. They agreed to do the demo for me, they mentioned a backing for the wall but said it would look like it did. They never said anything about the damage from the demo would show when I opened my pantry doors. They start to install and realize it is 4 inches to wide and 2 inches too long. They will have to rebuild it. I suggest a backing to cover the damage from the demo. They send me more docs to sign and ask that I confirm their measurements. I said I was not comfortable confirming their measurements but were welcome to come back they agreed to come back in 2 days, then they text me and tell me they are not coming back and cancelling the project due to their belief it would not create the finished project they wanted and wished me good luck and oh by the way they were keeping the deposits I put down which totaled 90% of the total cost. Their communication is terrible and they left me with no pantry and a mess where my pantry once stood. Their employee told me I was not the only customer having issues and everyone is frustrated with them. I would definately use s different company and I guess I have to now!

I recently was in need of a one-time cleaning service for my home. I did some research and found…read moreHomemaid Cleaning Service. It had good reviews and was a woman-owned business so I reached out to them. The owner, Brandi, contacted me and asked questions about the job, and I filled her in on my needs. She assured me that they would clean "surfaces top to bottom, side to side, in every nook and cranny". I had two calls with Taylor, my leading cleaner, on the day of service. I was supposed to receive a call at the end of the day to go over what was completed but I never received one. When I went to the house the next day, there were a number of items that hadn't been touched and the house wasn't cleaned per my agreement with Brandi. I shared pictures with Brandi clearly showing that the job wasn't completed. That evening, I was surprised when my credit card was billed for $355 for the job. I still hadn't had a conversation with Brandi. The second day after the cleaning, Brandi called and she told me that I would have to discuss this with Taylor, and she would have Taylor call me. I didn't receive a call that day and spent the weekend waiting for a resolution. On Monday, I received a text from Brandi that Taylor would call me after their morning staff meeting. I didn't receive a call until after Noon. I was receiving three more hours to complete some of the cleaning. Taylor focused on the walls in the kitchen. However, when I got there, I found cleaning solution on the floor, on moldings and walls. I found pieces of sponge on the floor, and ended up spending time cleaning that up. I reached out to Brandi again and still haven't heard from her. I can't express the complete dissatisfaction in the whole experience with Homemaid Cleaning Services. From the slow response time, to lack of communication with me (and between Brandi and Taylor), to the poor cleaning job. Do yourself a favor, and don't call Homemaid.

I hired HomeMaid to come do a one time deep clean of my home. I filled out the application online &…read moredidn't hear anything for a month. They called me the Wednesday before the Monday that was scheduled, to confirm what I wanted cleaned, but I wanted to talk to my husband first before committing to a $200 clean. I was told I needed to make a decision then because I was going to be getting into cancellation fees if not. So I went ahead and said they could come for 4 hours Monday. Come Monday, I couldn't answer my phone and talk for the 30 minutes like they wanted, because I was at work, and from then on it was said to be a miscommunication, that only a few items were cleaned in my home that day, and my husband and I walked into our home still a mess. The floors were not cleaned or mopped, the kitchen table was not even wiped... the bathroom sink was not cleaned out or the mirror even wiped..I could go on!! We were appalled that our house was basically how we left it that morning, bedsides the microwave, kitchen sink, and two toilets looked good. I spoke with Taylor, who did the clean, and the manager Brandi, and the situation was going to try and be fixed. But then I didn't hear back, even after I had reached out via email, and asked for the quoted price to be reduced to better reflect what was actually cleaned. I still never received a reply back, almost a week later, and I've now been charged full price. Just disappointing and we still have a house needing cleaned!! Save yourself the hassle!
