The staff was polite and helpful. She had me out of the door very quickly. The store was organized and clean. I had to send a package and they charge either $1 for them to tape it up or you can purchase your tape there. I have never had that experience at any other ups store but it makes sense? I have had a box with them for years and there seem to be issues about once a year with them not being in compliance with the USPS causing mail to not be delivered or returned to sender and although the owners have been notified by the USPS and given instructions on how to bring their bussiness into compliance they have not in the six months they were given to do so meaning customers mail not being delivered and returned to sender the customer is unawares until after the fact thus causing financial hardships as well as lost mail i.e bills not recieved causing disruptions and in some cases late fees the place changes hands and employees are not informed of issues and only find out when a customer complains or tries to investigate. I warn any and all thinking of opening a mail box there to not do it! They are too small too busy and overwhelmed and it shows read more

This UPS Store was amazing. They were efficient, polite and easy to work with on a Saturday afternoon. I was traveling on vacation when I was required to wet sign papers for a transaction. Well, I had no printer to print the documents, no scanner and no way to return the documents. So they must have lost their good people because the ones working there now are pathetic. Today the line was 12 people deep and they answer the phone and hep Customers who call in. With all the people waiting, Bobby answered the phone and sat in a chair and proceeded to help the person on the phone. You can tell the person was asking all kinds of online information. I heard him tell her " we'll If you google it, you see."He sat comfortably continuing to talk to the person as the other employee couldn't help me because her printer was not working. Notary was buzzing around the store being brusque with everyone and acted like she had no time for me when she made me choose from alternatives to what my appointment was for. If my document is going to be notarized in some non-standard way, I'm going to need that information to come from someone who behaves professionally. If you're rude to everyone else, I assume you're just hassling me out of habit as well. I just left and went someone else. read more

This place is terrible. They promised to provide insurance if my package was damaged, but they refused to pay, dodged my phone calls for months, and lied to corporate in order to avoid paying. If one cares to read the long version, you can find it below. I shipped 3 large items. One arrived damaged. The damaged item was worth $1,000. They said if I purchased insurance then I would be reimbursed. They gave me a receipt, but according to corporate it is "not the right kind of receipt." I did not hear anything from the store for 2 months. The manager (Matthew) would not answer calls or return them. He eventually answered 3 months later and said they would pay for the damaged item. I did not hear from him and I called again in January. Matthew said my claim was denied because the store incorrectly recorded that I had packaged my own item. (UPS will not reimburse claims if a box is not packaged to their specifications). He said this was their mistake since their employees packaged it and they would pay me. In late January, I called and Matthew tells me the owner is selling the store and does not want to pay until after the store sells so the new owner has to pay. Corporate tells me the store will not return their calls or emails either. I am finally told in March for the first time that the store provided to corporate a Parcel Shipping Order (PSO) with apparently my signature on it. This form lists each item that was shipped and its declared value. Three items were shipped that day. Each item was assigned a really long ID number. However, there is no way to know by looking at these long numbers which one belongs to the more expensive item that was damaged or the least expensive item. Unsurprisingly, the item that was damaged was matched on the PSO with the least valued item that I shipped. In other words, the item numbers were not matched correctly. Interesting that no one was provided this copy until 6 months of me and corporate hassling them. I do not believe I even signed it because the signature is not how I write it and it mysteriously shows up after many months of dealing with a store manager and owner that were reluctant to pay from the beginning. I have never seen such incompetence and dishonorable work. If all one needs is to use a printer or send back Amazon returns, then they will probably be OK. Otherwise, good luck if you need to rely on them for anything else. read more

Highway robbery if you need to print. I needed to print 2 pages and it was listed at 15 cents/page. I brought them on a USB stick and expected to plug them into the copier/printer and print the pages in black & white and get out of there. They have archaic copiers and require you to plug in your USB into a Windows computer to print. I wasn't using any of the applications nor the Internet. I wanted to print 2 pages of pdfs! I was expecting to pay 30 cents, but then get charged $3.43. Amazing inflation! They can't help you because of COVID and they just demand your money. I am disgusted and will drive to Kahului to Fedex Kinkos in the future where it costs 13 cents/page and there are no hidden fees. Don't go here! I found other reviews complaining about the printer experience. Improve your signage and let people know that you will charge a surcharge to print. Copies at 15 cents/page would have been clearer. $3.00 usage fee to read pdfs and print. This is real BS. read more

I've been to this store twice in three weeks. Both times, I found the staff to be poorly trained. Some of them are also unfriendly and inflexible, including the woman in charge of the place. On my first visit, a clueless but semi-cooperative young woman printed some documents for me off a thumb drive and charged me 20 cents per page. Today, when I asked to have the same thing done again, the snippish woman at the counter wanted to charge a $3.00 "print service fee" as well. The owner, a woman named Sherida who said she bought the place a month ago, explained that the person who'd served me before had made a mistake by "only" charging me for copies. I said, "Perhaps so, but you're making a bigger mistake." After all, a satisfied customer may tell one friend, but a dissatisfied one is apt to... write a Yelp review. Overall i get good service here but there is an older lady that works there who is not pleasant at all. It is a customer service job. I work in customer service and if I ever talked to customers the way she does, I wouldn't be working. I got a text notification from them that i got a package in and when i asked she turned me away without even trying to help. Usually the staff will at least look for me and are usually very polite. Great service, great staff, store is clean and well-supplied. The 4 gals who've been there since I've been coming in are efficient, helpful, and extremely competent (that's saying a lot in today's world). Service is always with a smile and whoever's on duty - whether Jenny, Kimber, Cayla, Andrea, or all of them - acknowledge each new person entering the store the minute they come in. Prices are more than fair. They maintain a pleasant atmosphere even when there's a long line, bringing out anyone working in back (or who might even be on lunch break for all I know) to help keep things moving. Each one of the staff keeps her cool despite some people being pushy and wanting to move ahead of others. And everyone seems to go that extra mile for customers. I'm so glad you're here in Kihei. Maybe I'm used to the USPS! I had to stop by here to send an item back to Amazon. Because they were centrally located, in the same strip mall as Long's Drugs in Kihei, I thought it'd be easy to stop in, pick up a box and send my package with the pre-paid return label. Parking was easy to find, since the parking lot is big and that side of the parking lot had a number of open spots. When I walked in, there were several customers milling about, but no employees in sight. So I waited. After a couple of minutes, a young lady comes out of the back and approached me. She quickly asked if I needed help. Okay, customer service seems on point. I explain my dilemma and she tells me I can "purchase" a padded mailing envelope or regular envelope. Wait, what? I thought UPS has complimentary mailing packs like the USPS does? I could have sworn I picked one up at the Airport office before. Did something change? I even asked her about the complimentary mailing envelopes, "like the post office" and she says she's never heard of that. After some research, including contacting someone on the UPS website, I found out that complimentary mailing envelopes are available from UPS. They resemble the flat rate mailing envelopes of the USPS but are brown and white and have the UPS logo on them! I know, because I've used them and seen them before! Not sure if this store is participating and from reading other reviews, I notice the Business Owner responds to some regarding this particular store. I get it, you're in business to earn a living. But, think of it this way: If I came in once for something, was accommodated consistently with service/items UPS offers or offered in the past (from prior experiences), I would definitely come back strictly because of the convenience. I may also think of your store first when it came to purchasing other items/services that you sell. Although conveniently located in Kihei (the only UPS store there, from what I can see), even though it's a pain to go to the Airport location and the hours at that location aren't that convenient, I will still opt to go directly there to avoid the frustration of inconsistency. Don't get me wrong, the young lady was not rude, but it did look like I was "quickly helped" so she could go on to assist the others. Unfortunately, I will probably not take my chances here again, for anything. I don't want to stop in thinking I would get the same available services from UPS and not get them at all. I do everything possible to avoid going to this store and each time I am forced in out of necessity I am reminded why I hate it so much. As soon as I walk in the door I feel the hostility and tension that seems to exist between all of the staff. They don't make eye contact, they don't greet you, they make every effort possible to get every penny possible out of you while offering nothing more than the bare minimum in service and solutions. My experience is based off of multiple trips over the past 1.5 years. Today as expected, no one went out of their way to be helpful (Kim), the manger herself (Tiffany) gave me no hello or acknowledgement while doing my notary. She was barely able to grunt out 'do you have your id' and the total price at the end. No thank you, no eye contact just a cranky blond who shared her bad mood with me. Grrrrr. read more

I went to three different banks for notary service and was told it would be at least an hour wait if they could do it at all. I then went to the ups in kihei and was greeted promptly. I was told they only have notary from 1 pm-3 pm. The manager however said she would do it anyway at 10 am to help me out. I greatly appreciate their service and assistance and they went way beyond their required role. I will definitely do business here again read more

I have been a customer of this store since I moved here in April. Tiffany and the other staff have been so helpful and friendly to me. I had a BUNCH of large boxes shipped to me (at my PO box there) when I moved. They arrived when I was out of town for 10 days - they promptly called me to let me know that they had arrived (I had told them I would be out of town) and said not to worry about leaving them there until I returned. Typically there is a storage fee if you don't pick it up after a certain time, but they were very understanding of my situation and had no problem holding them for me. When I did come to pick them up, Stevie graciously offered to load all the boxes in my car. Top notch customer service. Every time I am there to pick up my mail, the girls are so nice and love to chat with you if you have time. Very helpful staff for packing and shipping as well. read more
