The rude older lady with blonde hair...think she was the manager at the old Lahaina store, is now/has been at the Kihei store. She is consistently rude. I go there alot and have lived in Kihei since 2017. She gives off the absolute worst energy and is impatient. Barking orders and yelling at people. We are in Kihei on vacation. We needed to return a chair and went to UPS store to do so. We didn't have any tape to secure the box and Matthew and Bobby scrounged up some leftover tape and boxes our package for us. They were both very professional and helpful. 5 stars! read more

Awful! I went to this UPS store to get something notarized on 12/22. I was told to come back on Tuesday 12/23, as the notary was only there Tuesday/Friday from 1230-3. when I came back on Tuesday there was a line for the notary as well a different line for other services. the older lady yelled at the person in front of me for not standing behind the invisible line. No one was acknowledged for waiting. There was another employee helping with packages. I waited 15 min. and then it was my turn. my paper work needed adjustments so the very nice notary told me to return on Friday. when I returned on Friday I entered the store and waited for several minutes, and was completely ignored. finally I asked about the notary, the same older lady was rude and said you should have called. "He has different hours today", and told me to come back. I returned and there were lines. the older lady was scolding a customer about the cost of returning a package and a lithium battery. The rest of us waited a long time and we were completely ignored. Finally it was my turn for the notary. I am thankful the notary was nice and professional. I will never return to that location because of the awful customer experience and behavior of the older female employer. read more

Staff here is usually very helpful and friendly, but not today. I understand it is Dec.22 and there was only one worker. We all waited patiently in a long line, me included. When it was my turn, simply returning an amazon pkg.. staff member told me to use the new automated kiosk. I asked if he could simply scan the code from my phone and do it since I had waited so patiently. He refused and told me to use the kiosk. I started to and it wasn't that user friendly. I'm a 70 yr. old senior and perhaps I have problems with computers, vision, etc? What does he know? I wasn't understanding the instructions, and he just yelled "read the instructions!" I was frustrated and asked why he was so rude to me, and he said I could just leave if I wasn't happy. So I did leave, and went to the UPS store in Kahului. I was greeted with a smile and my amazon return took no more than 10 seconds. I saw no amazon kiosk and the employee handled the transaction with a smile and thank you. Worth the extra drive to be treated well. I highly recommend it! read more

I received the very best service from the Kihei UPS office. I had an urgent problem dealing with my passport and Bobby demonstrated amazing patience as he helped me, a computer dork, deal with the horrors of accessing and submitting government forms. I kept coming back for more printing and scanning assistance and by the end of the afternoon I (or rather Bobby) was successful in submitting the needed documents. And it seemed a busy time with people coming in with boxes, asking questions about mailboxes, shipping rates, printing jobs, and more. Yet all of us were served in a calm and friendly manner, the lines kept moving forward and he still made time to take passport photos. I have used UPS a lot over the years and would highly recommend going to this particular UPS store because of the knowledgeable, friendly people. read more

You're not gonna believe how much gear I had to take with me to Maui this past Friday, as I had several urgent tasks to take care of at a few financial institutions on the island of Maui. Lucky for me, after finishing up some work at a near by Bank of Hawaii in Kihei, there is a UPS Store also located in Kihei just a few blocks from where I was working, so upon boxing up the broken part I had used..........I just jumped into my rental car & drove down a few blocks to another shopping center just next door from the Azeka Shopping plaza. I'm not sure what this shopping plaza is called, but it has a Longs Drug Store, Amigo's Mexican Restaurant, Piko Cafe (I ate there once), and several other businesses, besides this UPS Store. I was so glad this UPS Store was near by, as I did not want to lug back all these boxes back to Oahu to ship back to the mainland..........the UPS Store, you're a lifesaver! Easy access to get to this UPS Store, as the shopping complex where this particular UPS store is located had ample free parking! I popped into the store, and was promptly helped out by a clerk..........put my box on the scale, and was handed a receipt for proof that I shipped back the item to the mainland. UPS shipping is a joke. Their customer service is in the toilet. No way to contact a customer service representative locally. I paid well over one hundred dollars for lousy service from the mainland. The shipper put the address of the condominium complex but inadvertently did not include the condo number. UPS refused to hold the package locally and amazingly shipped it back off island within three hours of attempting to deliver. I spent those three hours trying to correct the address to no avail. This service is not acceptable. UPS has become a company of fools and idiots. Not a single reasonable person could see the harm in what they are doing. That same package arrived at least thirty hours before an attempt at delivery yet made it back on a plane to Honolulu within three hours They were even incompetent enough to not pull the package in Honolulu and send it back to Maui at my expense. I will do all I can to discourage anyone from using this terrible carrier. A complete rip off. read more

I've been going in this UPS Location since I moved to Maui in October 2017. I used to have a post office box there too. Today I went in, zipped in and zipped out. The staff is amazing Bobby Sherida and Christine all cheerful and very helpful. Folks, I had such an awful job to do, to send copies of my mother's writings and stuff to different relatives...I thought I was organized but when I got there, things changed. I needed help operating the copy machine, I need help printing multiple copies with print on both sides, stuff like that. I could not have done ANY of it without the kindness and help of Matthew and Bobby. Not only did they help me get it all done, they did it with such aloha, it really made my day. Went in to drop off an Amazon return which should takes a minute. Had the code ready. There was a couple ahead of me needed to prepare a box. Amber was helping them. The people said they needed to get the box packed and to help the next person. She refused even after being asked again. The line was getting long. Clearly the people weren't in a hurry and wanted her to help. Instead she stood there for 10 minutes and watched while the line went out the door. I get if you are working and you can only help one person. If she was actually working then it wouldn't have been an issue. It took 30 seconds to do my return. They need to work smarter. So friendly, patient and made a very stressful situation less stressful. They were very busy when we came in and continuously had a line outside but handled every customer amazingly well. The UPS Store in Kihei by Long's Drugs is amazing. I write and illustrate children's books and before I found a mass production printers to print my books, Digitek Printing in San Francisco, this UPS Store helped me produce mock copies of the 16 books I had created so I could look professional when I went places to share the books with kids. I recently had another incredible experience here. I had to go to the Wailuku Courthouse and needed six copies of paperwork quickly. I was lucky to be served Matthew. I was moving very fast and it seemed he knew my questions even before I asked them. In no time I was out of the store and on my way to Wailuku. If you ever need anything from a copy store when you are in Kihei this is absolutely the store to go to. Especially if you are on vacation because you don't want to miss a moment of beautiful waiting Maui in a copy store. Although, it is always spotlessly clean and air conditioned in their store so you may want to stay. read more
