What a fantastic store in a convenient location. I always pick up my Amazon shipments and special order UPS shipped items as well as utilize their shipping services. I received a notice that a package was delivered to the access point location and when I went to pick it up it was not delivered as per the notification. Roger and Carlos were amazing in trying to track the item down and I even filed a claim with UPS for a lost package. Roger and Carlos did not give up as they kept searching and today I recieved a call stating the package had mysteriously arrived. When I spoke to Roger we had to laugh about the multiple stickers on the package showing delivery on the 26th then pick up, send back and then received. It was like cat and mouse with this package, something out of the twilight zone lol. Roger and Carlos definently went above and beyond with the calls I received updating me on progress and the mystery of the disappearing and reappearing package. Update Today I visited to return an Amazon package and met Huy who is the owner. He was incredibly nice. Upon walking in he greeted me and said, "Amazon return", and smiled to me. I've tried to give this UPS Store multiple chances because it's close to our home, but the customer service has been consistently disappointing from an older, Asian man. Each time my wife and I have visited, we've been met with rude, sarcastic, and dismissive behavior from one employee in particular. Instead of helping customers or even offering basic courtesy, he seems irritated by the very idea of doing his job. After several visits with the exact same treatment, it's clear this isn't a one-off bad day -- it's a pattern. We've decided it's not worth dealing with unprofessional service anymore and will be taking our business to another location, even if it's less convenient. The customer was going on and on about themself, their previous employment and knowing what their rights were with the ADA. Roger was exceedingly patient and kind to the customer. Came to return an Amazon package here yesterday, Friday afternoon. No greetings or anything, this older man just holds up his scanner. I know I have the barcode he needs, so I hold up my phone. Once scanned, he continues to say nothing. Just slightly bends to grab the return label that I eventually see. Puts it on the box. Doesn't say anything and starts to carry it away to which I say thank you. And he said thank you back. I would take a wave or a peace sign. Geez, I never thought I would leave a 1 star for mail. With Amazon returns there's usually a scan code and sometimes there's a glitch within the code whether it's the screen brightness or something else technological. Amazon sent me three different emails for three different items as pictured with the scan code. I packaged three boxes and hoping to drop it off with no problem. An older Asian man scanned it and was condescending to me because Amazon made a mistake of sending me three separate emails instead of two because two items were supposed to be combined together. I showed him the three emails while trying to figure it out. With any Amazon returns I am sure things like this happen all the time. I quickly saw the error and offered to help by opening the box so I can combine the two items but he still treated me like I was a bother and screamed at me with another employee in the room and no customers. I was honestly appalled and confused at how he randomly and quickly became so openly confrontational. It made me wonder if he does this often and reading past reviews about him on here concerns me. I'm not sure why me as the customer had to remain calm and while he thinks it's okay to blatantly yell at me. I would know, I've worked in customer service before and been screamed at. His reasoning for all of this is "Oh I'm just letting you know on my end", with a smirk on his face before handing me my receipt. UHHHHH....I find this unusual to be aggressive and confrontational to a customer who just wants be helpful because technological issues happen all the time. I came in neutrally and left feeling bullied by this old man for no reason. Don't be surprised if he's there and automatically rude. This left such a terrible impression for my first time. There is a bald elderly man at this UPS store who looks somewhat Asian. His attitude is extremely unpleasant and sarcastic, which can really ruin someone's entire day. I am not sure if he is the manager or just a staff member, but I strongly believe that no customer deserves to be treated this way -- especially when they are polite and respectful. What's more, I noticed that the customer behind me, a very polite lady, was also treated poorly by him. I came in to send a package back. Usually when I bring it in I have them package it so I know it's done properly. They told me I needed to bring it in a box and have it printed. I had a great experience at this UPS store. I needed four documents notarized and on one document I needed two witnesses to witness my signature. They were very accommodating. I lost the man's business card so I don't have his name, but he was an Asian gentleman and his knowledge of the requirements on a couple of the documents for notarization was extremely helpful and I was very appreciative. I don't write reviews often but I decided I finally had to because every time I go here, the people that help me out are always so efficient and sweet, and it really stands out, especially with Julia in particular. It's kind of embarrassing because I always have so many Amazon returns to drop off, usually separated out by at least 5+ different scans, but Julia always has such a great attitude and has the patience of a saint every time I come by. I used to dread having to return things to Amazon but now I actually don't mind it since I started going to this UPS because Julia (and the others) make that process such a breeze. Huy! The Notary here and apparently the owner of this place, Was so out of touch with his regulations and the rules of Notary! He was very argumentative and just needs updating on life and how to act with customers. I tried explaining to him my item I needed the notary for and he was Very arrogant and out of touch! He was so wrong on soooo many things he said! I literally had to scold him to listen so he can see What I was told to do by the County Recorders office! Hui needs to Retire or just ring ppl up and let others who are updated by the book do the notary stuff here. Beware don't use HUI! I ended up leaving since he made it clear he couldn't help me! So Nerving he took all my info down before he even verified he could help me! I was very concerned I made him go back to verify I watched him cross my info out. That's not normal for a notary! Thankful i made him cross everything out! Who knows what he does with that info or could do! Anyways I Took my business to a better place! Better environment and with someone who is updated and much younger and knowledgeable with the laws and current regulations with Notary plus they spoke better English to understand them. This Man Huy was the worst! Stay clear away and don't go here for anything if he's involved to assist or offer his notary services! Huy needs updating in all of it! I can't say enough good things about this UPS Store. The owner and staff are genuinely kind and go above and beyond to make things easy. Whether it's a stack of Amazon returns or shipping something important, they're patient, efficient, and always willing to help. What stands out most is how personal the experience feels... they remember faces, greet you warmly, and never make you feel rushed, even when it's busy. I usually visit the Lake Forest UPS location and could not be happier with them but I was near this location with an Amazon return and thought why not. I was immediately greeted with silence when walking into the empty store, and then disdain after stating why I needed their help. Just made the mistake of trying to return Amazon packages to this location. I've had a bad experience with them before, but I was hoping for better customer service today. They even have a sign out front stating that they gladly accept Amazon packages. They complained that my packages werent quite ready (mind you I'm the only customer in the store) and having to tape my label and then told me that they will only accept one Amazon package. this UPS store is awful. I'm not sure how anyone can give them more than one star, which is one too many. I took in a box full of Valentine's gifts for my little granddaughters in Washington, to which I attached a full label with their address on it, and was served by Julia, who asked me what was in the box (I've never been asked this before).While processing my shipment she told me how UPS had broken two boxes of expensive dishes she sent to her sister, and how awful the service was and how she didn't get her money back. I was surprised how negative she was since she works for UPS! and was concerned because usually negative people create negative experiences and I didn't want that for my package. As I stepped away from the counter I heard her say "I forgot to print the label." I turned around to see her printing it but didn't see her attach it to my box (which again, already had a label I put on it). I SHOULD HAVE MADE SURE SHE DID, but I told myself she would do that and walked away a bit uneasy. Well, of course the box NEVER arrived at my baby granddaughters' home, and appears not to have left the UPS store, as it wasn't scanned in at the hub where the packages go once picked up from the store. I talked with a few different people trying to locate my box, including the owner (I think) who told me they would start an "investigation," but wasn't overly concerned about the box, as they "get lost" all the time! The next day, Julia called me and wanted details of the items in the box, the colors, size, etc., which she said she needed in case they found the box and had to open it to prove it was mine. Since I already put a label on the box, and Julia claims she did too, it seems they would know the box was mine if "found." It would take some work to remove the label I put on there because I attached it with very strong shipping tape. And if Julia actually put a label on it, there should have been double the evidence it was my box. First Julia said I needed receipts to prove the value of the items, then called later and said she only needed a list of the items while I looked for the receipts. Next thing I know, I get a notice a file has been claimed with the UPS insurance carrier for $244.18, close to the actual amount of $248.18 for the items in the box and the $27.20 shipping cost. Today I received a notice that I'm only being refunded $127.20! I remember Julia telling me that I could only get reimbursed $100 for the items in the box because I chose not to take an increased amount of insurance out. THIS IS NOT TRUE. I wasn't offered an increased amount of insurance so didn't know it was available. So now I'm out $128 for the gifts for my family in Washington, not to mention the time it took me to shop for them, wrap them, and send them, and the disappointment of my grandchildren when the gifts I told them were coming didn't arrive. And I believe Julia had something to do with the box disappearing. Her behavior was odd from the very beginning, asking me what was in the box (usually they ask if there is anything dangerous in the box, not exactly what is in the box), telling me her awful story of UPS services, forgetting to print the label, and the box never being documented as having left the store. Unfortunately, in researching the issue online I learned UPS stores have a reputation for "losing" but actually stealing packages! And this particular store has very bad reviews due to the awful/lack of customer service. Unfortunately, I trusted them and now will never use them again. My recommendation going forward is to use FedEx, because even if they cost more, they're RELIABLE! read more

I came in on 9/7. I had came in to return an item back to Amazon. The was my first time returning something back to Amazon. As soon as I walked in the elder Asian man, assuming the manager - says some sarcastic comment about the box I had. I told him I had trouble fitting everything back in the box - I ASKED him if I could PURCAHSE a bigger box for me to able to fit everything in. He then comes around the counter takes the box and literally starts handling the parts so aggressive. I did NOT ask him to do it for me. If my return goes back damaged it's because he was handling everything so aggressive smashing it into the box. Terrible customer service!!! Do not come here. I was verbally assaulted by a tall heavier man in his mid to late 60's who told me his name was Dana when asked. I had an extremely heavy box in which I was struggling to carry with no offered help by either of the men working. )Dana and Kaden. The entire building is under construction and I had to haul my Amazon return clear across the parking lot. Upon entry I only had my phone and box. Kaden said that will be 2.50 without trying to assist with scanning my QR code. I said I'm sorry I don't have any money I just came with my mother's phone to do the return knowing to my knowledge with a QR code does not cost anything. Kaden responded, "what you don't have Apple Pay" Dana walked over at this point and told me to leave the box go to my car and find " 1 dollar or 4 quarters" in a very condescending manner. I said again please I just logged this heavy box in across the construction lot can you just return it for me. Dana replied, "nope, where do you usually go?" I replied "Dana point" he replied, "good I'm not the owner so you go there " and opened the door to push me out! I exchanged words letting him I did not appreciate the way I was treated for him to say "GET THE FUCK OUT BITCH NOW!" Kaden was standing there laughing. My mother came in following me and asked why Dana spoke to me in this manner. Dana came two inches in front of my mothers face and expressed " YOU AND YOU'RE DAUGHTER GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE BEFORE I CALL THE SHERIFF" my mom expressed not using profanity towards him in which Dana stated, " i apologize for that." This happened at 4pm 8/3. A mailman was present during this situation. Dana needs to be fired. I will escalating to corporate and asking to check the cameras. read more

UPS is SO much better than USPS! My local USPS office feels like you're in purgatory so I have been coming here more and more frequently when there is a small difference in price. You are in and out, it's clean (USPS is grody!) and they don't lose my packages. I use them frequently and have no complaints. To the reviewer who complained about an employee taking their package with no comment... Why don't you just be glad someone is serving you?
