    Today I learned that UPS employees are apparently trained in cowboy-level furniture wrangling…read more I brought in a saddle stool that refused to disassemble. It was basically the stubborn mule of office chairs. Mason took one look at it and went to work like he was at the rodeo. Tape, cardboard, strategic folding... it was like watching someone lasso chaos itself. Ten minutes later that stool was somehow inside a box. I still don't fully understand the physics. I got my Amazon refund and the best live entertainment I've had all week. This store is always great, but Mason deserves special recognition for elite-level stool wrangling. UPS: please give this man a raise. Or a horse.

One particular employee in there was very rude…read more Looked at my QR Code and told me it was the wrong code for their store but didn't bother to scan it and didn't bother to help me figure it out. Just said well I don't know and kept proceeding to work on whatever he was doing before I walked in. left me standing there confused trying to figure out why the QR Code said UPS but yet being told it wasn't. Terrible customer service. I walked out and wasted a half an hour calling Amazon and came to find out it was the correct UPS code. The second time I walked in another guy scanned the code and it was the correct code. If the first rude guy would have scanned the code like he should have instead of just looking at it and telling me it was wrong I would not have wasted half hour of my time. I don't appreciate my time being wasted and having terrible service when I go to return an item. I will never use this location ever again.

I spoke with Paris and she informed me that they were indeed open and that the notary services were available. Upon arriving at the store we were greeted by Paris is was kind, professional and provided the utmost in service. We needed a few documents notarized as well as some documents mailed through the services that the store provides. The store is quite nice and offers FedEx, UPS, DHL and USPS services as well as has a wide variety of supplies, boxes, gifts, cards, wrapping and other items that may peak your interests. Paris was efficient and offered the best in services rendered and at a value unsurpassed. They also offer private mailboxes, scan, copy and print services, package drop-off, shredding, shipping and supplies galore. The notary services are worth bragging about as well and I plan to utilize this location for all future needs. Highly recommended!

    I've been to Postal Annex for both notary services and my baby's passport, and each visit has been…read morea great experience. During separate occasions, the staff provided excellent service. For the notary, they were careful and detail-oriented. When it came to my baby's passport photo, they initially suggested taking the photo at home since it can be easier for babies. However, when I arrived, they were more than willing to try taking the photo there--and my baby did just fine. The photo was printed within about ten minutes and it cost $18.31 for two copies of 2x2. This price is reasonable compared to other places. The staff member who helped us was very kind and patient with both me and my baby. I also noticed they assist with TSA PreCheck processing, which is super convenient. The location is clean, the staff are helpful, and I highly recommend Postal Annex for notary services, passports, and shipping needs.

I had heard that PostalAnnex specialized in multiple sizes passport and visa photos (Postal Annex came recommended to me for Chinese Visas - you can even pay them to fill out and submit the application for you! But I opted to do it myself but I still needed the photo). I called just to make sure and they told me they indeed do passport and visa photos (including for China) and when I asked if I needed to make an appointment - they said "no you can just show up anytime during opening hours but it's good to come at least 15 minutes before closing because the whole process takes about 15 minutes) When I showed up there was plenty of parking (it is located on the intersection of Culver and Irvine Center Drive in the main shopping center across from the McDonalds. There was also a sign on the window advertising that they do photos and the Chinese Visas so that was a good sign. The man who took my photo was very nice and knowledgeable - I liked that he seemed very experienced and had done a ton of these before. I also liked how he showed me my photo to make sure I liked it for final approval before he just printed it. You give them your email address for the digital copy and then you also get 2 printed photos for $24.99 which came to about $26 after tax. I just waited in the store (they have 3 chairs you can wait in and have a fridge with drinks to purchase too - or you can walk around the center while you wait). The woman Amrit who works there was also very reassuring and friendly and super helpful as was the man (whose name I didn't get). I chose this location because the other Postal Annex has received some negative Yelp reviews for unfriendly service but at this location (15333 Culver Dr) the service was OUTSTANDING and I will be coming here for all my future passport and visa photo needs! (They also do mailing, have mailboxes, etc.)

    Yesterday I encountered the WORST customer service experience at A1 Mail in Mission Viejo. On…read moreWednesday I need to ship a very important item to my son who has moved out of state. I went to A1 mail to see what the best/quickest options were to get it to him by the weekend. A nice woman helped me and showed me all the options and we agreed on a FedEx option that would arrive on Friday. Late yesterday (Friday) I pulled up the tracking information expecting to see item delivered or out for delivery but the tracking showed the item had not moved from Mission Viejo and was showing "shipment information sent to Fedex" and "we''ll add a delivery date as soon as we get your package". I immediately called A1 mail to see what happened. I explained what happened and the young man who answered the phone abruptly said "yes, it shipped" without even asking for any information from me. I asked him how he knew since he hadn't asked for a tracking number, my name or any details. He then told me that "Fedex picks everything up every day" and that it was gone. I asked him to at least take my tracking info and look up the item which he did (hesitantly). After seeing what I was seeing that the package had not moved, he explained that Fedex takes "2-3 days" to update their website. I explained to him that I was "stressed out" because this was a bank card and my son needed it for his rent this weekend. He asked if the card had been activated and when I said it had not in a very snarky/sarcastic tone he said "if it hasn't been activitated then why are you stressed out". Not liking his attitude, I asked to speak with the woman who helped me or a manager. He said describe the woman who helped you. I gave him some specifics and he said we have two women who work here that look like that. I could hear another worker in the background and I again asked to speak with her or a manager and he told me he was a manager and had been there longer than anyone. Since I could see he wasn't going to help me any further I decided to drive over to see if I could speak to someone who wanted to help me figure out what happened. When I got to the store I asked the man if I could speak to the woman (her name waqs Diana) who had helped me ship the item. She came out and we pulled up the tracking info which CLEARLY showed the item had not shipped. They both tried to convince me that Fedex had not updated their system. I have experience with Fedex and I could CLEARLY see that the item had never moved from A1 Mail. They were of absolutelty no help at all, so I went out to my car and did a customer service chat with Fedex customer support. They told me unequivacably that Fedex never received my item. I went back into A1 and showed them the reponse from Fedex. They still argued with me that the item had shipped and that Fedex just had not updated their system. They said their Fedex driver would be there in a half hour and they would discuss with him and call me back. I went home and called this time called Fedex and spoke with a representative and they too told me the item was never received and there was no way their system just wasn't showing an update. I received a call back from Diana shortly before they were closing for the evening and she said their "regular" Fedex driver did not come. Diana said I could call his supervisor on Monday and see if I could get an answer as to what happened. I told her I had just gotten off the phone with Fedex and they confirmed the item had never been picked up. Her response was "and you beleive them over us". I told her this whole situation was unacceptable and that I wanted a refund for my shipping fees ($22). She said she couldn't do that and I will have to come back in on Monday when the owner is there. This was a total inconvenience for my son who doesn't have his bank card. The two people who work at A1 seemed to be blaming me for everything and not wanting 1) do their job, 2) assist with a problem for the service I paid for and 3) were completely rude and unapologetic about the fact that they lost my item. I have used A1 mail for over a decade but after this experience I will never use them again and will definitely be sharing what happened to me with anyone who asks for a recommendation for a local mailing establishment.
