Wow wow wow! All I can say is That this UPS store is a BREATH OF FRESH AIR!! Iv lived in the east side my whole life and have came into this store before and it was awful and I even avoided it. But not anymore. You can immediately tell that it's under new ownership. (I also asked) I was immediately greeted with a extremely warm welcome in and was helped quickly. First time I went to this location it was not open when it was supposed to be open. I believe it was almost 2 hours after their posted open hours but no one was there I was extremely upset. I see that this a common problem with this location so I'm not really sure why they don't just change their hours. I decided to give this location another try recently. (I came in the late afternoon because I wasn't taking a chance of them not being open in the morning) A lot of people say that they have issues with Amazon returns so I thought I'd give it a shot since every other UPS I've been to does the Amazon returns correctly. I was returning a shirt with no packaging just my Amazon return QR code and I did not have any issues. The employee scanned my code took the shirt gave me a receipt and I was out the door! Worst experience ever, the lady who works there don't have any skills whatsoever on customer service, I went over to dropped off two packages and no just didn't help me she thruway my package on the floor and supposedly called the police because I took a picture of her when in reality I took a picture of the package laying on the floor. The police didn't arrive so I left. I'll be calling corporate tomorrow, hopefully they get rid of her or at least give the employees a proper training, avoid this location if posible. read more

The person was un helpful I stated the package was dropped off and I needed to see if they still had the item because the update on tracking states it hasn't been received- the associate just googled the tracking number to give me the same information I already know. she didn't even bother to check the inventory. when I go to ask if she could look around she interrupts me give a cooperate number and hangs up before I have time to react or right down the number I didn't need. read more

The UPS Store location on S. Nellis Blvd and Sahara Ave has reopened. Went there this past Monday, 9/23/24 to get notary services and was blown away with the great service from the two ladies working there. Everything was quick and organized, unlike previous visits. I noticed the store was beautifully remodeled and I inquired about things because it was closed for a few months. I thought it was still closed. One of the owners, working at the time, told me the previous owners were kicked out by UPS and they had been open only 2 weeks. Thank goodness the previous owners were finally gone - it was terrible, slow service and the place would be closed when it was supposed to be open. There were a lot of complaints about previous ownership. The new owners are a breath of fresh air. Thank you UPS for bringing in these people. It's awesome and everyone in the area that was turned off by the previous owners should give the new owners a chance. The new ownership is great in customer service and everything is efficient now. read more

Very poor customer service. The female behind the desk was very rude, I don't know her name because no nametag. I had to drop off a package for Amazon. Printing the mail label was a nightmare. Per Amazon printing the label is free. Per UPS employee I have to pay $ 5.21 because at UPS nothing is free. Called Amazon CS and they confirmed again that printing the label is free. She refused to accept and I left. The price is sane at $5.00 for a piece of paper? A month ago I dropped off an Amazon package at the same UPS store with the same employee behind the desk. She printed my label for FREE and received my package. The price change at the employee's pleasure. I am not going there anymore, I am going to try another UPS store, maybe I am lucky to find a nicer person working behind the desk. read more

At the door it says something about the owner being someone from the community. Well, being that, id guess that explain why nobody showed up by 9am and made us customers drive to another location. Same customers that were here had drove from the Charleston and Sloan location. All of us then left as well to another one. Seem they're still lighting up fireworks somewhere rather than showing up to work. read more

Just terrible. Aside from very slow service to the point it seems they enjoy taking their time, they do not help in any way. They charge you 20 dollars for an envelop, 7 dollars for tape, literally everything has an up-charge. Lastly they have the most terrible attitude and bang on everything to show their frustration when you don't buy from them the envelops, and you show up with your purchase from fedEx which is literally walking distance away to purchase cheaper materials. read more

Lady was extremely rude (name started with P)... Said that I had to pay $3.99 for a strip of tape. Talk about price gouging. Cheap as hell, They would not give a strip of tape that was contracted by dish network to use UPS. They also did not even have the front light on because they are so cheap. This store literally is so slow. Save yourself time and frustration and go to any other location in town. I've been in here over 20 mins waiting to drop off a preppackage. This is crazy. This is my second time trying to drop it off and it always taking so long. They only ever have 1 employee in here that's expected to notarize documents and accept packages as well. Really? Come on. You need to invest in some kind of scanner or something that allows us just dropping off prepaid packages to do so, get our receipt, and go on our way. read more

This review is for the Sahara and Nellis store. I don't usually mail stuff off through UPS so this was my first time to this location. I dropped off my package on May 11th 2023 and I asked the tomboyish woman if there was a certain hazard sticker that had to be placed on the package since it contained a lithium battery. She says no as she hands me my receipt. Lets just say. The package was scanned as carrier received but never been scanned again since. Til this day June 18th 2023. The package never left this location. No other scans have been recorded. So its safe to assume that the young woman stole it. Package is considered "lost" and a claim now has to be filled. Ugh. I went back to the store on 6/17/23 and to my surprise it was closed at 2:30pm. Wow. Hours are till 5pm. So idk what's the deal with this place. If you're reading this. Just go somewhere else. I use this store on a daily basis to do my shipping and pick up my mail, always very friendly and willing to help. Nice people and I appreciate how hard they work trying to run a small business. I had a portable air conditioner from Amazon delivered. It was defective. So I started a return. UPS was supposed to pick it up. So I left it outside by the front door. BUT, they wouldn't take it unless I was there to sign for it. So the driver left the shipping label for me. I went to the UPS website and they said to take it to THIS UPS store and drop it off. So I grabbed my handtruck and loaded this 85 pound air conditioner into the back of my vehicle in 121 degree weather and took it to THIS UPS store. I unloaded it and rolled it in and told the lady behind the counter that it was already labeled and all she had to do was let the UPS driver take it when he arrived later today. She made me hoist this 85 pound air conditioner up on to her counter so she could "weigh" it. I couldn't believe it. I explained that she didn't need to weigh it. It's already paid for and UPS itself had made the label (not one that I printed). Nope. And then after doing that...she told me that it's not packaged correctly because the bottom is "open" I told her that is the way it was originally shipped and I even had the photo that the UPS guy had taken when he originally dropped it off at my house. She told me NO. I told her this is F'n ridiculous. All she had to do is let the driver take it. She told me no again. I told her that she is supposed to work for UPS. She told me that "NO", she doesn't work for UPS...they are a franchise and don't have to take any packages if they don't want to. I left swearing and cursing with this heavy air conditioner out again into the 121 degree weather. This store is a DISGRACE and should have it's affiliate license revoked immediately. read more

I had the worst experience every with the same female employee that so many previous reviewers are talking about. I have never been treated this poorly. I called to file a complaint with corporate and will be speaking with the owner of this store tomorrow about the employee. After seeing the different reviews on this Yelp page, I will actually go further than this. I will file a lengthy written report with corporate and speak with them again. No one should have to deal with this employee. I have had many great experiences at a UPS Store, We will continue to use their services. However, this employee must go.
