Michelle, the Print Manager, saved the day. I had $300+ in poster prints I ordered via online. When I picked them up, the blues were slightly off. I really appreciated Michelle acknowledging the slight color incongruity between the actual document and what had been printed. She offered a reprint of the entire order, but likely the same issue would have prevailed. Without contest and most kindly she refunded my credit card. Pen refills in Las Vegas, Nevada... While I was at the Boyd's Rewards Club at the California Hotel in Downtown, Patty, the friendly staff, noticed that I was shaking my pen down like a thermometer. Yes... My pen was running out of ink! Patty offered me another pen, but it didn't have a cap. She went to the cabinet and got a fresh pen for me! (She gave me both pens.) In exchange, I gave her my pen (it has a Hawaiian word on it) and told her I'd find a refill for the pen. I checked Dollar Tree, CVS, and 99 Cents Only Store for a pen refill, but there were none. I hoped that Office Depot would have pen refills. I drove to the nearest location. I liked the free shared parking. The interior of the store was clean and organized. I went straight to the pen aisle and found a refill quickly. I checked out at the cashier and asked about the return policy... What if the refill doesn't fit the pen? I was assured that I would be able to return it... Yay! I gave the pen refill to Patty. She took it home and told me that the refill fit the pen! Great! I like to reward good deeds! Staff is never helpful. I've witnessed multiple handicapped and elderly people come in to use the self service machines for printing, copying, and faxing and some of the staff treats them like they're regularly abled people when they're not. One old man was literally in a electric wheelchair struggling to move his arm or even see the screen on the printer and the girl is just standing there instructing him on what to do instead of simply pressing the buttons for him. I almost went over and helped him myself since she somehow couldn't tell that he was really struggling. They act like it's such a pain and hassle to help the people using the self service machines. I've been able to help more people there myself than I've ever seen the actual staff help people. Aside from the poor service, they're constantly out of stock on shipping boxes. It seems like they only get a shipment like once a month. Im constantly having to inconvenience myself by going to another location or overpaying at the post office or UPS. read more

By accident I sent my order way out in the Maryland Parkway store, I helped an employee to translate for her for 2 customers who didn't speak English, then was my turn and Kelly, id 498583 took my online order, it was $12.50, I didn't like the printed paper on my prints, so I told her i didn't like the paper and want them print in another type of paper, and she just told me "You need to pay for the order again!" I said ok, with an attitude all the time, then just, you owe $28, I asked why?almost yelling "Because you made me do it for you!" Me just: "Do what?" I sent it on line! She just yelled at me again "I can cancel your order and you will need to come tomorrow!" Horrible attitude, I just wanted some prints...Oh my gosh! What's wrong with this people! read more

I just wanted to share a great experience I had at this location. I was in need of getting some invoices printed for my business. I had an order at another printing office and they had a huge mix up. Now I was desperate... I stopped in on Sunday and Patricia was the only employee there at the time. Some how she managed the entire store, the customers needs and even my desperate self. She fixed my invoices on my flash drive and had my invoices ready the very next day. I live in Centennial Hills and I don't mind driving over there she was so kind and helpful. Awesome customer service. As we walked in we were greeted by two separate employees. When does that ever happen?! We found the colored Sharpie Markers we came for. We inquired if they had gift bags. We were told they did not but one employee remembered some on clearance but the other reminded him those were for Xmas and were long gone. Wouldn't have worked for our application anyway, but thanks for trying to save us some bucks! He instead directed us to the CVS in the same center. Amazing! I arrived in Las Vegas for a convention. i was speaking in three hours, and realized I forgot ALL of my material! I called Fed Ex. I asked them about making copies and they said email them and we have you covered. I relaxed took my time getting ready, then realized they still had not called me. I had a confirmation email so i figured i was fine. No. I tried to get the very rude young man on the phone to find my email to no avail. I called Office Depot on Nellis in Las Vegas. I arrived. Customer Service was impressively professional and quick. They pulled up my account, had all information, and it went so smoothly. I had placed an order before Christmas and it was broken down into three shipments. The first shipment came two days later and another one came a few days after that - very fast shipping, by the way! After a substantial amount of time, I never received the third shipment and the tracking information showed that it was still "in transit." I was sent a new shipment due to it remaining lost in transit somewhere. The entire process took less than five minutes and was amazing. read more

Copy center The pay at copier idea works, BUT, please don't calculate cost after every copy. Streamline the process, speed it up ! Sign in kiosk, why? Waiting in a line worked for me. If you try to wait in a line, the ***** behind the counter people tell you you can't do that. Tell you to go shopping. Your phone will get bombarded with messages. If you've been to Vegas for a conference, you probably know that printing at the convention center is expensive, and printing on the strip is even worse. At the time of this writing, both of those options are nearly (or more than) $2 per color page. This Officemax location is just a short Lyft ride, or even a brisk walk, from the LVCC, and they offer color copies for $0.59, as of this writing. If you're attending a conference as a small business, paying 1/3 the price for copies goes a long way, and this is the closest place I could find with actual normal prices for printing. I didn't use their full-service copy center, and it was pretty busy at the time I was there, but if I was ordering ahead of time I'd give it a shot for the greatly increased cost-effectiveness. read more

I had been to several other places that didn't have what I needed. I was browsing the shelves of keyboards for a couple of minutes and not seeing what I wanted, a young black store clerk noticed this and came over from another part of the store and he asked me what I was looking for. He was genuinely interested in helping me, and he had excellent manners and made the experience very pleasant for me. And, together we found exactly what I wanted!
