Unfortunately, Staples no longer carries a paper cutter in their self service area. You would have to use their in person personnel to have your papers cut, but at a cost they are often out of supplies that I needed. I had just finished filling up my notebook that lasted me a year, and was waiting to pick up my girlfriend at LAX when I saw this Staples. I hadn't been to a Staples in 10 years maybe. Staples used to be HIM, but no one wants to talk about that. I entered under the blood red arches and felt like I stepped foot straight into 2008. While so much in my life has changed, Staples has not. I ended up getting this nice hard cover Cambridge notebook that ran a soul crushing $26. OOF. Nice enough Staples in Westchester for all your printing and shipping needs. I only come here for printing misc docs and dropping off packages (the take FedEx, USPS, and UPS). The best part is that they always have free tape to use! Plenty of parking in the back (shared with the rest of the plaza) and it's always easy to find a spot. I had a very unpleasant experience at this Staples location. I went in to shred some documents and believed there was a standard price or threshold for shredding. There was no clear signage explaining how the shredding service works or what the pricing is, so I reasonably assumed there was a standard process. While I was using the machine, an employee yelled at me instead of calmly explaining the policy or cost. I didn't argue or raise my voice, but the interaction felt unnecessarily aggressive. I was not given the opportunity to pay or clarify anything while being spoken to in that manner. I later spoke with the manager and told him I was willing to pay whatever the cost was. He handled the situation professionally, told me to finish, and wished me a blessed day, which I appreciated. While I'm grateful the manager resolved it, the employee's behavior was inappropriate and should be addressed. Customers should not be yelled at--especially when they are trying to do the right thing and pay. read more

This is for the copy center, specifically for the customer service. I needed to print some forms and my brand new USB wasn't working in the machines. Not sure why. They are as old as DINOSAURS! There was only one employee working (see photo), but he guided me thru a process of emailing the document to the machine. While I waited I watched this employee GENUINELY HELPING multiple customers in the meantime. My print was $0.79 and he didn't even charge me for it. I needed ink for my printer for an event we were having that day. So arrived right before they opened. The guy working the register saw me waiting outside, and let me know they're opening soon. Once I came in, he knew I needed something quick, and helped me out right away. The ink I needed was not on the shelf, so he checked it for me and found that they had it in stock. This Staples is in need of better management. The people in charge of this location are fine with their subordinates being hostile towards customers. I have never met a crew that was okay with mistreating customers. From not fulfilling advertised hours, to playing hot potato with helping customers, to flat out refusing services. Today 4/27/25 at approx 3:45 pm i went to go do an amazon return at this staples. I stood in line for the amazon drop off next to the cashier line. The woman who was working the line was highly disrespectful from the beginning. She was a much older african American woman. She kept taking customers who were purchasing items and refused to acknowledge me even when i had been there before those customers. At some point she finally decided to help me. She was highly upset that i was returning amazon packages and refused to package the items for me even though the amazon instructions said that staples would do so. The employee handed me plastic bags so i can do it myself. Also my packages were already in boxes just needed to be taped but she refused to take those boxes and pressured me to open the boxes and put them in plastic bags. While packing my items she also asked for the qr code and wanted me to show her the qr code while i packed the items at the same time. I am not an octopus lady that job was yours in the first place and i was just trying to be helpful and courteous. After i placed them in bags she said i had done them wrong and raised her voice at me. She was highly unprofessional. She then started talking to another employee that i did not know how to make amazon returns. I then decided the abuse was enough and i went to the printing center amazon return line to make my returns. The lady working there was a young African american lady who was really sweet and professional. She did my returns without a problem. I did not catch her name but she does deserve a promotion. Both times I correctly ordered and paid for the project online, was given a time it would be ready....and both times they couldn't find the order when I arrived well after the appointed time. I called the 800 help line and confirmed that my order had been paid for and sent to the correct store, so what is their malfunction? He was very rude and not helpful and didn't wanna come to the printer to show me how it works. I think Eric should learn how to work with customers and be more respectful and should show customers instead of telling them. My primary reason for patronizing this Staples location is to use their UPS drop off. I have labels emailed to me when I need to facilitate a return, and the people behind the counter are always nice in printing off a return label for me so I can affix it to the box and send my package back to it's intended destination. Needing to make a couple returns, I went to the counter to have my labels printed so I could finish my errands. Some short, balding, Hispanic female with a bad attitude (whose name escapes me, but she is supposed to be the manager of the print center) was behind the counter. She was polite to literally everyone but me. I'm not surprised. For starters, I can see over curbs, counters and reach high shelves/items without needing a ladder, so I fully understand her envy. I also have a full, thick head of hair. I have thoughts, but my hair isn't so thin that you can see them. :-) The 'manager' attempted to argue with me over printing out the labels, which Staples employees have done for YEARS, gratis. They usually do not charge me for printing out labels and have not done so in YEARS, because I have a rapport with them. I have no problem coughing up 5 or 10¢ for the cost of a sheet or 2 of paper, so if you want me to pitch you a quarter, just say that. I keep a coin purse in the cupholder of my vehicle. Baldisha behind the counter, that she can barely see behind, mind you, FINALLY decided to do her job and print out my labels, after attempting to take every other customer that arrived at the counter AFTER me. Not today, mini satan. Not today! My boxes should be en route to their respective return centers, so I can receive expeditious refunds. Snack size would die 1,000 deaths (shorts ones) if she knew what was in those boxes. But since there aren't any children's clothes or haircare products being returned... Let me stop. At any rate, this Staples location has always eaten a$$ with a knife and fork. Poor selection, if any. Horrible cashiers. It is in a space with very little light and no windows, so perhaps that's why the people who work there are so miserable. It would be easier to find a fat kid who doesn't love cake than a happy employee at this Staples location. Oh... there's ONE standout employee. She also works in the print center. She is a lovely Black woman named Shonte, if memory serves me correctly. She is ALWAYS professional, kind to all and she works her fingers to the bone. While Bitter Smurf wants the customers to do everything themselves so she can collect a check for merely showing up with work, Shonte always goes above and beyond to assist her customers. She is a 5-star employee in this 1-star sh_thole called Staples. I will be purchasing a new computer soon, so I won't need them to print labels for me. My dad is a pain in the butt sometimes. And not tech savvy whatsoever! Just when I was about to get my study session on for my exam he decides he needs my help he needs blue prints. I called staples and Alan from the copy and print department was extremely friendly. I mean extremely! We walked in about 10 mins later. My dad had an email with 100 images. I called prior as mentioned and Alan did confirm that we would be able to email and print to blue prints. I was literally stressing out because on the way I was going through the images and couldn't find the one he needed to print, which were 2 images. We get there, send the email, and asked Alan if he needed my help finding the image we needed. He told me not to worry and he would be able to pull it up. Literally within a few minutes he found it printed it. He had some a positive and great attitude and super helpful ! When then bought something's and of course my dad forgot the blueprint as we were walking out. The cashier daisy stopped us and told us when for it. She then said hey did you guys call? Did everything work out? I couldn't have been more relieved with the customer service we got ! read more

However there is no one working at the stand so expect to be waiting quite a while since the other employees in the store that aren't assigned to that station will simply carry on with their days in other parts of the store instead of assisting all of the customers waiting. They clearly need to adopt an all hands on deck mentality here because it makes no sense to have cashiers assisting no one while a line piles up in the returns and printing area. read more

Make sure you sign up for the rewards card/account. The bad news is that you'll get a few more emails, the good news is that you get the occasional 20% discount coupon and also coupons that offer you direct cash discount off of your purchase (received a $10 off coupon today). Decent sized Staples, they have most everything that you need. Parking spaces are very tight and it's a busy lot. I had to circle twice to find someone backing out to get a spot this time. Although, I was there around lunch hour so that could have influenced the parking lot situation. Anyway, I digress. It's a good Staples, if you need some office stuff, it's a good place to stop. This review is for the Westchester store. Very disappointing customer service. I purchased an item online, as it was not available in the store. The item needed to be returned, so I went to the store to do the return. The clerk told me that since I ordered online I had to return it by mail. I went home and called Customer Service and was informed that I could definitely return it to the store. I returned to the store with all my paperwork in hand. Again, I was informed they could not accept the return at the store. I asked for the manager. He was unbelievably rude and told me that it was time for him to go home and he was "off the clock". He walked out. The next "manager". told me to just leave the item with her and wait to see a credit show up by email. I was not going to just leave the item without any proof. I insisted that she sign my receipt that she took possession of the item. Now I have to wait who knows how long to see a credit show up in my email. Then I have to go backs to the storer to make my purchase or order online and wait for it to be delivered. It will take at least 3 trips to the store to do a return! Unacceptable! Additionally, the store is sorely short-staffed. I'll go to Office Depot next time. read more
