I just had the worst experience at the UPS in Maywood. I was trying to return a pillow and the worker was so rude and disrespectful. I asked him to explain why he wouldn't print my return label when the email from amazon says "UPS will print return label" and he verbatim called me "Retarted" over and over again. I told him not to call me that and asked him to calm down and he continued to yell and mock me until I left. I asked him his name so I could call corporate and he told me "Carl, but it isn't going to matter" later to find out he is the owner. I called corporate but as he is the owner I doubt anything will happen. I highly recommend everyone avoid this place I don't want anyone to experience what I went through this morning. I want to rate this 0 stars and hope he gets fired. This customer service should not be tolerated anywhere. read more

This is the worst UPS store I have ever been to. I was totally surprised that the rude and unprofessional employee is actually the owner. No wonder this store has one and a half stars. His claim to good service is that he has been there 13 years. What a piece of work he is!!! The Asian man in the store is absolutely the rudest person I have ever dealt with. I visit this store at least once a week. Carl is always friendly and efficient. Reading these reviews it's almost comical how many people lack self awareness and are entitled pieces of shit. 50% of the people complaining are doing so because they're showing up to ship their items and expect the store to let them use their supplies for free. "It's just a piece of tape" but read the reviews and realize that if all these customers are asking for tape he probably has to go through a few roles a day. The Asian Man here scammed me of my money! Terrible. I went in and asked for a printing order I placed ONLINE, but he claimed he never got it and made me pay fricking $3.50 for a single page "to rush order". When I tried to show him my receipt, he wouldn't accept it, He had the nerve to argue with me that I never placed the order and this WASN'T the store, when CLEARLY it was written on the email. Since he already printed it out without even telling me the price first, I was forced to pay. How is this legal? In line to other customers, he would urge them to chose the most expensive item. This man is the most unhelpful, disrespectful, rude, and unfriendly individual I think I have ever come across in my life. When I was treated poorly today I expressed my frustration with his bad attitude. His answer was don't come back and that I should take my business somewhere else. I only go here for convenience but I do not recommend. They are RUDE everytime I go in there. They wanted to charge me 1.50 to tape my package! Instead I bought my own roll of tape. Just left the store. Manager appears to be a major jerk with a large chip on his shoulder. He gave attitude to customer before me, then to me. Terrible customer service. Very very dismissive. I politely told him about his attitude and tone, then he started yelling at me. I said I'd complain to UPS and he said he's an independent store. His attitude seems to be if you don't like it, leave. I teach and receive and ship about 100 things a week between amazon orders and school sales (we have our own school based business). I usually utilize the local Norwood UPS services Bc that is where our school is located and they are fantastic. Because of the pandemic and being home I had the misfortune of having to stop into my local store. I dropped off a prepaid package on Tuesday and as of today (Thursday) it's not scanned in. I stopped in today to check on it and explained that because I'm (hugely obviously) pregnant I dropped the package on Tuesday and left to minimize my exposure (I've literally not gone anywhere in 8 weeks other than my doctors appointments) the owner was rude and nasty and told me if I didn't want for a recipient none of this is his problem. I explained I've never had that issue before with prepaid items UPS has always taken them. He screamed "this isn't UPS this is the UPS store" and that it wasn't his problem that I had a lack of patience. I asked what the practice is for left behind packages, since it would be hard to miss a giant box sitting on his counter to which he replied that if I didn't have such a problem waiting in line I'd know exactly where it was. I again repeated it had nothing to do with lack of patience, I was trying to avoid being around other propel Bc of my pregnancy. He laughed in my face and told me that being pregnant isn't an excuse for being impatient. I told him he was incredible and to have a nice day. I hope my package gets where it needs to go. I was sending a care package to another expectant mother who is in need and doesn't have the resources right now, due to unemployment, to purchase the items I sent. read more

I had no choice but to walk out of this store after I had a pre paid receipt for an item to be shipped to Pennsylvania and the owner wanted an additional 150.00, and gave me some lame excuse as to why he needed to charge the extra fee. I took my item to another UPS store in Hackensack and shipped it, no questions asked and no additional charge. I recommend do not do business with this guy he will rip you off and be rude in the process read more

went to the UPS store in Maywood today with a print out of a UPS label and had no idea as to how I should attach it to the package being returned. a gentleman, clearly the owner, said i'll take care of it and popped it into a see thru envelope which he adhered to the package and gave me a receipt with a tracking number - fast, efficient, courteous service and I hadn't purchased anything = great customer service. would definitely return to this store if I need to ship or have a print job. read more
