The back story is I needed to send a winter coat back to the manufacturer for a repair. I grabbed…read morethe only box I had, one from an Amazon delivery and packed it and went to the Post Office. They quoted me $92, not because it was heavy but because of the size of the box. Needless to say I opted to try something else. I called The Mailbox store and spoke to a guy who explained that the charge is based not only the weight but the size of the box. He said they have multiple boxes for sale and if I came in, we could try and find a cheaper solution. I stopped in on the way home and after a couple of different "fittings" we found the smallest box that would fit the coat. Total cost including the box $47. This store is under new ownership and I highly recommend them for any shipping needs plus whatever other services they provide.

Spoke to Dianne, the owner, who was very personable, and knew her stuff. It was a matter of days and the truck arrived. Tom and his assistant Wayne got the job done. She was so patient and warm about it, you could tell she truly cares about her job and how people are treated. Zero apathy or impatience or judgment - simply kind and immediately helpful. I told her how I had first gone to Staples, where 2 of the 3 printers weren't working and the last was being used, so I came over to FedEx. She was happy to hear I had and I could tell she was truly invested in FedEx doing good, repeat business. Totally going to FedEx for all printing and shipping because of this experience.
