DO NOT trust this UPS store to deliver your items safely. They broke my large suitcase beyond repair. They WILL NOT be careful with your belongings, and even if you file a claim, nothing will happen. I have been waiting/repeatedly contacting for FOUR MONTHS. The long story: In August, I shipped a large suitcase full of clothing from New Haven to NYC. When I picked it up at the lobby of my apt building, the suitcase handle on top was completely broken (torn off, leaving sharp edges exposed, etc.). The doorman told me that the delivery person just left it there without saying a thing about its condition although it was insured for about $100. Following, I called the UPS Store and was told to file a claim with pictures of the broken suitcase through e-mail. I received no response. I e-mailed again in early November and was told that I would have results in 5 business days. Over a week later, there was no word and I e-mailed two more times in November but have heard nothing. I have just called during service hours and was directed to voicemail. The UPS Store clearly does not actually "insure" anything or take seriously its job of delivering items safely. read more

This was my first visit to a UPS store ( 9/9 around 5 pm). I recently stared a small business to support myself in these trying times and entered the store with the intention of packaging and shipping my product. Upon entering was not greeted and instead rudely ignored by the employee behind the front desk. After standing there awkwardly for several moments I proceeded to attempt to package my items with the open roll of shrink wrap that was on the shelf. Since it had obviously been used before I assumed the store provided it for customer use. While this happened the employee continued to ignore us. However, after we had finished the employee accused us of opening and stealing the shrink wrap. We explained we were unfamiliar and apologetic and explained that it was already opened - she decided to kick us out of the store without even attempting to send my packages to my customers. I will never again attempt to even walk in to a UPS... poorest customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I'm disappointed that with so many American people unemployed that UPS would decide to employee someone with such poor work ethic, customer service, and basic human kindness. read more

Worst UPS store ever! Avoid and go to Milford location. Nickel and diming thieves. Box: $5.94 --- very expensive for a small box but ok no problem. Service charge: $3.50 - for what? For taping and closing the box. Unprofessional and rude woman - who was just unreasonable and had a customer disservice attitude. Guy with turban is usually really helpful and nice. read more

This store is a scam. I paid $60 on Monday to have a letter delivered by next day mail to an office that is a 1 hr drive from this store. The clerk told me it would be delivered by Tuesday the next day at 8am. The package was not delivered until 7 DAYS LATER on Monday the following week. I went online to see UPS policies on getting a refund. The UPS policy is "In the event UPS fails to attempt delivery within the time published on the UPS website, or as provided when 1-800-PICK-UPS® is called, UPS, at its option, will either credit or refund the transportation charges for each such shipment to the payer only, upon request, provided the conditions set forth in the UPS Service Guarantee are met." I called the 1800 number and was told I had to call the store. I called the store to request a refund. I was put on hold for 20 minutes. The gentleman who picked up the phone told me he would call me back in 10 to 15 minutes. He did not call me back. I went into the store the next day to request the refund. The clerk went into a back room to speak with a manager. He came back and told me that because of the Coronavirus UPS has no obligation to actually fulfill their promise that I paid $60 for. I PAID THIS COMPANY $60 TO DELIVER A LETTER TO A LOCATION THAT IS 1 HR AWAY FROM THEIR STORE. IT TOOK THEM 7 DAYS TO DELIVER IT. So I called the 1800 UPS number and asked for the procedure for filing a formal complaint. The person on the phone told me she would submit a complaint for me and someone would call me in an hour. I received a call from another lady who asked what my complaint was about. I explained to her and she told me to call the 1800 number because she could not do anything about it. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. I may not get my money back, but at least now I know never to go to this place again. Hopefully FEDEX and USPS conduct their business with integrity. read more

I regularly ship via UPS and I use the UPS Stores all over the country. I have never had to pay to tape down the top of a box. I have a national account with UPS and will address this with my representative. At a minimum this fee should have been posted. Will not use this store again. read more

I don't understand all the bad reviews. I went in and one worker was taking care of another person. Another worker came out from the back and asked how he can help me. Took my package, weighed it, gave me a price, I paid him, he said thank you, I said thank you and that was it. The two guys working were friendly and courteous. They took my package, but then a month later when the package still hadn't arrived at its destination, said that they never received the package. They also voided the shipping information so I couldn't track the package. On top of that, they don't answer their phone during business hours. Will never ship from here again. read more

Now I see why they have the negative reviews. This is a very greedy company that gives UPS a bad reputation. I called and I spoke with someone from the UPS call center to ask if I would be able to go inside of a local UPS store to print out my shipping label in order to send a package. She stated yes but she isn't sure the UPS stores independently owned. She told me to call 3 stores and this was one I called and spoke to a very nonchalant person on the phone stating I can send them via UPS label via email and they will print it out for a fee of $2.99 lol. I told her thank you ma'am and ended the conversation. Keep looking to the stars baby girl that's in another Galaxy kid. I was so pissed I ended up going to FedEx where they did it all free along with providing a free boxing. Now that's quality service. The other five star comments must be workers at ups or friends of works. I would refrain from this place. I can't stand when people try to get over on other people. We all have to eat at the end of the day. If you call UPS 800 number they will send free packing material just so you can use their services to ship. read more

Many Retail locations are bad, this one is the worst. My client dropped off a return package, which was never picked up. When I called to inquire the manager got extremely rude, said If I have any kind of problem, call UPS, not his problem, and HUNG UP. I called back to politely ask if he could check the store as it was a small package. He said (heavy accent) "we no make f**king mistake you not call again". I tried calling back and they would literally just pick up the phone and slam it down. Obviously this franchise owner couldn't care less look at the ratings here. If this were a restaurant or hotel he'd be out of business by now. I've contacted the franchise customer relations dept, who have the ability to FINE these independent owners, and enough of these complaints they get their franchise pulled. Anyone who has future problems with this location please call (800) 789-4623 and ask to speak to the franchise manager for store number 5105. Put this scumbag out of business. read more
