Go visit the very odd and bizarre couple who own and operate Westside Postal Express. Dan is always constipated, and Janice (Don't ever call her "Jan" -- She'll scold you and tell you how her wicked step mother called her by that name), who is old enough to be her husband's mother, calls him "Pops." These two have issues, but I can't pinpoint exactly what creates their extreme hostility towards their customers. Even before you walk into the toxic atmosphere of their little dirty cluttered post office, you'll be greeted by some hostile sign on the front door. Step inside and you'll hear the sarcastic voice, [disguised as pleasantness], from Dan. If you ask a question, the answer you'll receive from "Jan" or Dan will let you know how stupid you are. A sense of dread pours over me when there is something I have to go put in the mail. Unfortunately, Dan and Jan's Westside Postal Express is within walking distance of my home, and my time is so limited. So, I dreadfully get into my car and head their way, knowing that some sarcastic, underhanded passive-aggressive snarky comment will be hurled at me, or someone else in the line. Having known them and interacted with them for several decades, all I can say is that these two need some serious therapy. They should be operating a fitness club, where clients are scolded in order to push to new limits. We immediately called this place to verify. The woman who answered the phone said oh no-that arrived yesterday and since you don't rent a box here-I sent it back!!!!! WTH????? We paid for a service that store does business with.?it doesn't say anywhere that to use this facility for a UPS shipment, you must have a postal box rented there. We will be running this business practice up the chain with UPS to see their opinion on how this place conducts business for UPS. Hopefully this place will do us all a favor and just shut down! I had the misfortune to have to go through Florida probate. The law firm representing me sent seven…read moredocuments through E-mail requesting a signature, and in two of the seven documents, they required a notary's signature as well. Being a retiree, I am without tech backup, and I didn't want to pay for Adobe Acrobat software to open a pdf file, so I took my issue to Pack and Post. Crystal and Donna took it from there. They were able to process my E-mail docs, open them up, print them, get all signatures, scan the docs again, and E-mail them back not only to me but to the law firm as well. I had pictured an entire day running here and there, and the whole process at Pack and Post took less than a half hour. The price was very reasonable, and I will go back again. This business is truly a gem in the Homosassa, Florida community. I highly recommend their services!
