I went in recently to get some stamps. I had been here before, to drop of a shipment and I received okay service. When I came in, the woman was helping a man with a bunch of packages, so I waited, a long... time. As I waited, I looked at some of the products they had and they had two reams of "Staples" brand paper. I laughed to myself, thinking they had gone to the Staples around the corner and no doubt marked it up a whole lot. When it was my turn, I approached the woman and asked for a roll of 100 stamps. I didn't know what the stamp rate was, just knew it was around .44 cents. She gave me a roll, then said, "55.00". I went, "Dang, the stamps are .55 cents now?" She looked me in the eye and said, "They charge more at the Post Office". I cancelled the purchase and walked out. I don't like people blatantly lying to me. The stamp rate is .45. And I have bought stamps at the ATM, at the grocery store, at a liquor store and other mailbox outlets and never paid more than the current postal rate (now .45 cents) Caveat emptor.... read more

If I were you, I wouldn't come to this UPS store. I had to print a UPS label for my Amazon return. I emailed the label to this UPS store & asked them to print for me in the email. When I arrived, the Indian guy was literally raised his voice at me saying I should have used his computer because of viruses, yah dah. Mind you the label was sent to him directly from Amazon.com. Also, his computer is OLD and SLOW, and you are charged using the computer. I've used it before. However, he said he would print my label from the email for me this time. Oh HOW NICE, I thought! When I looked at the receipt, he charged me $.99 for sending my label from Amazon.com, and $.15 for 2 black and white copies. I was charged 11 copies! Additionally, I was not informed that he would charged me just to print from his email. $.99 is not much, but noone would appreciate if you don't tell him or her. I should have use the UPS print services ONLINE. I bet he wouldn't have had a reason to raise his voice and overcharged me. LOL! They definitely overcharge their customers at this UPS store and have no hesitation to raise their voice at the customers. I will NOT come here again!!! Thanks for the attitude! Over the years this location has been "fine" for what I use it for but now that Ian is working there it is amazing. He is efficient, nice and super helpful. The first couple of times I've been to this location, it seemed that the workers were a bit standoff-ish, I have to agree with some of the other posters on here. However, yesterday I went in to drop off an international parcel and had printed out all these international commercial invoices that I didn't know what to do with. The gentleman working the counter was very kind. He pasted all my shipping labels and commercial invoices in little pouches on the box and didn't seem at all upset or annoyed. Lesson learned: You really have to take negative comments with a grain of salt. For the last 4 years, these guys here have been nothing but amazing. The parking is great and there's never a wait..wanna know why? Cause the indian couple that owns this store is soooooooo RUDE. They don't greet you when you come in, they act like it's your fault for coming in the door, don't give you other cheaper shipping options unless you ask, make a fuss if you have to use their tape (heaven forbid!) The wife is just plain mean and the husband isn't that much better. The ONLY person that is a total sweetheart here is the old white guy, I don't know how he can stand to work with them! I recently visited a UPS Store in Clinton, MD to return some Xfinity equipment which Xfinity suggested that I do. I waited in line for over 30 min and when I was seen by a representative, I was told they were not taking the equipment. I asked the lady who was helping me when can I drop off the equipment and she tells me that I can try again the next day. She did not give me any information other than that. So I visited another store at the National Harbor in MD within 20 min of leaving the Clinton store and the representative kindly assisted me and sent off the equipment with no problem. The rep at the Clinton store was not helpful or courteous and did not give me any information at all. My time is very valuable and it's sad that I had to go further to another store to get help read more

Cannot even handle the simplest transaction. got a mobile code from UPS on my phone to do a return , thy told me that thy I can not use it , and I need to use there computer at 19 cents a minute to print a shipping label , did not sound right to me so I ended up driving over to the UPS main office in Anaheim , should have just gone there from the start ,thy where welcoming and very helpful at UPS , thy told me that the mobile code is just for the UPS stores and have know idea why they could not use it , I will NEVER deal with this UPS STORE again !!!! , not helpful at all , UPS needs to pull there name off this store , think the owners need to sale this place and go buy a 7-11 or some thing like that , there definitely in the wrong business read more

Spent an hour printing 6 pages. The computer in there is from the 90s I think. It could not even open my files without crashing. Either upgrade your equipment or stop advertising printing services. The employees were very nice and tried to help as much as they could, I would give the staff 5 stars, but they were unfortunately unable to work any miracles with regards to the horrible equipment here. read more

I have shipped items through this store on two occasions, and I cannot say enough nice things about the staff. They are exceedingly friendly and helpful. The first time, I had a very difficult customer I was shipping to and the man helping me actually talked to the customer on my phone to reassure him about the packaging, etc. I highly recommend coming to this store over others-I haven't loved my experience at others. read more

Terrible store. It's not the employees. UPS just sucks. You can't make any prints from digital without incurring extra charges. There are no ports on their printers. They make you use their computer to access it via internet but charge by the minute! Or you send it to the UPS email and they charge $3 to print it out. Absolutely awful. Go to Fedex print shop. You can print from USB or get a code to access it online FROM THE PRINTER for no additional charge. Copies are also cheaper per page. read more

I go in to have a wheel shipped and boxed. They give me a price and I agree to a $35 boxing fee. She takes it in the back and after 10 minutes I ask, "Do you always have the customer wait while you box it? I've been to other locations that don't make you wait. If I'm paying a boxing fee to make this more convenient, it doesn't make sense for me to have to wait while you do it." Pretty sure he was the franchise owner, older Indian man. He answers with "we could charge you more" You're a real knob pal. I wasn't even complaining about the price. My total bill was $70. I'll use another means of shipping next time and make sure others know about my experience at your store. One star is definitely to much for this place!! The guy must think im a idiot! I brought in an 11x14 light weight frame to have packaged and sent to Michigan. He quoted me $20 to pack it and get ready for this.... $86. 00 to send it thru the United States Postal service! !! Lol They need to be reported to somebody! Then he said it would be cheaper to ship it UPS for $26.00 plus the $20 he was gonna charge me to pack it! Jerk! This place is consistent in always having helpful staff to guide you in the best way to send your things. I send things out all the time and I have not had any issues with my sent items being damaged. Its in a little anonymous part of the Ralph's parking lot but usually there is ample parking and little waiting for help once inside. Its my local place and easier than dealing with going to post office which is quite far from me. read more

I would never recommend anyone going to this ups store. Their shipping rates are way too high. I didn't know each store varies on shipping cost. My wallet got raped and I paid $47 more in ground shipping than what I could have paid at another ups store. read more

DO NOT ship your items here! I bought 2 of my amazon returns here as I always do and never had a problem UNTIL Monday. I dropped of 2 packages, when I bought it to the counter 1 sales guy was "busy" playing with his computer screen and the other sales girl was just "busy" standing around.....maybe it's because I came 30 minuets before closing. No one bother to help me and just said ok you can leave your packages there and it will be scan in later....my mistake for not making them work and asking for a receipt. It's been well over 24 hours and my packages are missing, I called the store twice yesterday and no one was helpful. But the worst part of it, the sales girl name Brianna was rude and basically told me, it's not their problem, they are just the middle person and if my packages were lost then too bad! For my job we are constantly shipping items back and forth across the country. Typically we have 10 or more boxes and it can be a tedious task. Whenever we go to different UPS stores we aren't sure what we are getting ourselves into. When we came to this location in Orange we were so pleased with the customer service and helpfulness Brandon provided us. Brandon was able to help us through this process and ensure our items were shipped properly and securely across the country. I walked my Greenlandic butt into this store 30 minutes after their doors had opened. I waited a short while then a woman asked me what I needed. I told her I was here for a passport photo. She informed me that it would be 30 more minutes because she wasn't very good at taking the photos and a gentleman who works there will be in at that time.Her was an expert with the camera. She was nice enough to offer directions to the post office across town saying she understood if I wasn't able to wait.This was very nice of her but I told her I would be back after getting some coffee. I like to shop local and I had the time to spare this morning. I liked her honesty about lack of photography skills and was willing to come back as I wanted the job done right. When I got back to the UPS store there was a small line but it didn't take too long to be helped and soon I was mugging for the camera. The gentleman that took the photo was really nice and even asked if the photo he captured was alright with me. Oh man, I looked like a Greenlandic serial killer or the creepy uncle that you don't want over for holiday.I went ahead and approved it. I figured, what do I care how I look the only person who will see it will be the jerks at customs and why not give them a scare. The nice older guy gave me a sympathetic look that said "if I were you I would take it over". He knew I had a face only a mother could love and said "well it's your passport an if you don't care how you look then either do I". He then trimmed it up to standard size and gave it to me in a nice little folder/paper passport case. The cost for these two photos was a little less than $14.00. Not too bad I guess. One of the guys in my band had just paid close to $17.00 for his scarey " I look like I just kidnapped someone" photo. I feel that my price was still kinda high but also felt a little satisfaction that I had gotten a better deal then my band mate. So there I was with passport in hand on my way down the always traffic filled 91 fwy to Riverside where I was to meet up with a member of my band and get our passports together. Hey its not weird "were in a band dude". Pulling up to the Riverside City Office where we didn't need and appointment (the post office told us we had to make an appointment at least a week in advance) we saw this cool looking old guy dressed to the nines and sporting a cool pork pie ska hat. I have hopes that I will look this cool when I'm 85. We also saw a guy who looked like a 70's Mexican porn star, he was amazing. Once in the official office there was a nice, but a hard stickler to the rules kinda lady at the desk. She was kind but very stone faced and by the book. The woman then informed me that my photo was not a proper U.S. allowed photo. I asked her what the problem was and she very officially took out a chart and showed me the comparison next the a proper USA approved passport photo. "The problem" she explained was the background. The photos on her chart had white backgrounds or a very faint light blue. She pointed out that my background was too dark ( though light blue it was 2 or 3 shades too dark) and unacceptable. For some reason even though it was taken with a white backdrop at the UPS store it came out a darker blue color. So I had to pay an extra charge $6.00 (super good deal) and get another shot taken. This was an inconvenience but I wasn't too annoyed. I knew this wasn't my fault and would take the photo and bill of sale back to the UPS store, explain what had happened and get my money back. Easy right? Well not really.... When returning to the store photo and receipt in hand and feeling sure I was about to be refunded. Not to mention the fact that they had taken an improper photo, I was shot down right away. The reason they stated for not refunding my money was that I did not return the same day. I had returned the next day and they now refused to refund. I explained the whole story and told them I was in Riverside and couldn't have possibly made it back that day. He said he was sorry this was store policy. I plead my case again an added that I didn't think it was a good policy and was not noted on the bill of sale anywhere. Another younger man entered from the back and reiterated that it wasn't their policy it was UPS's and they were sorry there was nothing they could do. I told them I was not happy with this. The older gentleman then said I could use the $14.00 as store credit. I looked around this sparse store and said "I'm sorry there really isn't anything I could use in here". He then suggested I buy $14.00 worth of Xmas cards. I told him I just wanted my money back. He said sorry here is your store credit please come back another time and use it. This really bummed me out. I will not be using this place for anything again. No more packages will be sent from here and the bands PO Box I was going to get is now off the table. I will be using a place I saw on Main street. Maybe he hates Greenland read more

I previously rated this UPS store 3 stars, due to their late opening. Unfortunately, this is the closest store to my home, and I went back today. I am 37 weeks pregnant and went up to the first person and asked if it was possible to get some help with the box I've got in my car (my husband put it in there). The woman who responded, Marta, told me me that UPS didn't help people with boxes and looked at me like I was an idiot for asking. Not only is this offensive, but her coworker, I wish I knew her name, a woman with glasses that appears of Indian descent, said oh no we can do that just fine. And she went out to my car (10 ft away) with a dolly and got the box and took care of it. If UPS really doesn't help out pregnant women, there should be a sign or a notice about that and everyone should know. If they are willing to help, which they should, then probably Marta should be fired for treating a pregnant woman in such a degrading manner. Maybe I've finally learned my lesson and I will start going to the FedEx off Main st. in the other direction. read more

Hate that this is the closest location to my house - their hours are a total joke. They do half days on the day before holidays. Understandably they are closed on all major holidays, but I suspect they will close for Columbus Day, VJ Day, and I wouldn't be surprised if they are closed on 9/11 (but in support of the terrorists that lost their lives). Their regular hours are terrible too - they open at 9am, when everyone has already gone to work and then close at 6:30pm when I'm arriving home. read more

I never write reviews, but today I figured I would after my experience. I come here often to mail things mainly because it is so close to my house. Every time I come I notice the prices are a bit high and they seem even higher when the owners check me out. Like another reviewer said, their stamps are also marked up. Today I went to mail a package and the owners wife assisted me. She has checked me out in the past and always tries to push me to do a more expensive shipping type. She said my package was too big and would have to go out as priority mail. (Keep in mind this was a 9 x 12 waterproof envelop.) She wanted to charge me over $20 and then she said she would give me the cheapest rate for $18 when I looked at her like she was crazy. I wasn't about to spend this much because I know it was extremely overpriced so I went down the street to the post office by Old Town Orange. I ended up paying $8 there with free tracking. As you can see this UPS store is way overpriced. For now on I'll be driving the extra 1\2-1 mile to the Orange Post Office. read more

If I could give this store a negative rating or zero stars I would. Every time I go in here, the people are extremely rude and have no knowledge of how to do their job. They talk down to women, are arrogant and entitled. I never post comments or review businesses but this visit to this UPS will be my very last. Places a limit on what you have to spend to use a credit card. That's fine for small mom-and-pop type place. However for a major place like UPS this is unacceptable. It is 2017 everybody uses credit card all the time. They force you to buy junk you don't need. read more
