I just left that location a few minutes ago and I don't think the employees like black people. I was racially profiled by Louis while walking to the front to ask for guidance before getting in line. After insinuating that I was attempting to skip the line and rolling his neck and eyes as I asked how he was doing, I feel highly concerned by this establishment's customer service and will not be returning to this location. When I drove to this UPS store there's limited amount of parallel parking right in front of the store. It is on the busier side of town so parallel parking would stop the traffic so I turned right and when to the back of the the store and found the back lot with plenty of parking spaces for the UPS store. Upon walking into the store from the back, there were already a long line with a bunch of people with a bunch of ceiling high piles of packages. There were three employee working there and they are all friendly, then they formed two line while one especially for Amazon return, the female employee did my Amazon return and asked me if I wanted a receipt and she was being very helpful and friendly. read more

I have gotten both good and bad service over the past several years. Since my parents died, we have been shipping family heirlooms. Two were damaged due to impossibly bad packing. The UPS store arranged a pick-up in Orlando of an antique wooden trunk at my parents' home. But they arranged for it just to be delivered to the curb at my home in CA, without telling me. It's over 100 pounds and the UPS driver refused to bring it through my front gate or up the 5 steps to my front door. In the rain. If you are shipping low-stakes items, this place is probably fine. But I had to pay several hundred dollars in repairs to irreplaceable heirlooms, way more than the UPS insurance provided. read more

Popped in here recently to mail some post-Christmas packages, and despite being quite busy and obviously overwhelmed with many, many, many other packages (obvious just looking behind the counter) the employees were very friendly and provided excellent service. This particular location is not convenient to where I live--I stopped in because I was running errands in the area--but I would definitely go out of the way to do business here again. read more

Love this UPS. I am here all the time mailing packages or returning things. Amazon returns are the easiest. A box isn't even required! Just scan the barcode on your phone from Amazon and they do the rest! Sometimes reception is a little bad in there so send your labels for (other) packages to their email before you enter the store. I have their email saved in my contacts to make mailing other returns much easier. The staff is very friendly there and I am able to get in and out of there fairly quickly. read more

When a business emails a label, don't charge the customer $3 to print it. That's ridiculous. It does not cost you $3 in paper and ink. The other stores do it for free. It's cheap and terrible customer service. I'm not printing out a personal document. It's a label to use YOUR business. read more

One star is too much for the way I have been treated. I requested help with a package and they wanted my credit card info before they would do anything, I sent it to them, BIG Mistake. They said they'd charge a pickup charge for my package of 60 pounds going to me in AZ from FL and then get me an estimate for shipping. My local UPS store estimated is at $140 and when I got their charge estimate of $462.62 I was floored, I could not afford this. I checked on an alternative shipper for half the cost and the UPS Store said they'd have to charge me for additional charges and they may discard the package entirely. I felt trapped and totally taken advantage of but I needed the package so I gave in. I asked that they keep me informed of the shipping and I never heard back from them other than getting a charge on my credit card from them I never authorized. My advise, stay away from these people unless you want to be screwed. read more

So guy from ups comes back and picks it up and the odyssey begins! 2 months of corporate ups blaming the ups store locally and the ups store blaming corporate, meanwhile we dont have the broken item, the compensation or a resolution! talking to ups corporate is useless and getting through to a human being at the actual store is even harder, when i finally get a contact name and way to get to a human being directly? I stood in line patiently behind two guys mailing several packages. When they were finished and walked away I stepped up and handed my package to the clerk. At the same time the woman behind me threw her package on the counter and announced to everyone in earshot that she didn't need a receipt. The clerk then did the most illogical thing possible and picked up the impatient ladies package and started to process it. I guess the way to jump the line at this UPS store is to throw your package at the clerk and scream in a shrill voice that you don't need a receipt. read more

Do. Not. Go. Here. The owner is terrible. I wish I could put a negative rating. I called the store and asked what the process was for freight shipping. They said bring the item to the store, and they'll pack and ship! I thought this is great! I was in this store for nearly two hours because once I arrived they said they could not ship freight (although there is freight advertised throughout the store) and that it would be $500 to ship it through them. I finally agreed and paid so I could leave. The next day they sent me an email and said they entered the wrong numbers and that it would be an additional $86! I refused and contacted corporate. Corporate agreed with me and sent them an email asking them to rectify the situation by covering that additional cost because it was their mistake... But because this is a franchise location the owner did not have to listen to corporate and said that if I did not pay, they'd cancel everything and toss the item if I did not pick it up. It was the worst experience I have ever had with any company. Absolutely terrible read more

Horrible service. Not only they wouldn't honor the 5% discount coupon they offer here on Yelp but the treatment to the customer is really bad. I went in to send a small package and despite being waiting a couple minutes I was not acknowledged by the guy working there. Okay that's fine, not everybody has to be super friendly all the times. When it is my turn to be attended I tell him I need to send my package and he tells me the price and that I need to sign some paperwork. At that moment I checked in on Yelp and let him know that I got a 5% coupon and that I was planning on using it and with a very bad attitude he said that they don't accept coupons there. I explain him that it is an offer that that UPS location has on Yelp and that I thought they should honor it. He tells me that he has never heard of that and that he wouldn't take it because this business is not part of Yelp. At this point I'm thinking that maybe he is unfamiliar on how Yelp works and I proceed to explain that these are offers that the businesses do through Yelp and that they are not necessarily associated with it. Very pissed off he says that his boss has never told him about that promotion and that he has never seen something like that and that he would have to call his boss. I offer him my phone so that he could check the coupon and see what I am talking about, something that he never intended to do at any point of this conversation, and he says that FINE he would take it, but with a very bad attitude and making me feel really uncomfortable. At that point I was very frustrated and tell him that I think that he is not being very nice and he goes and says that all he is saying is that he should have to call his boss (but he never even attempts to do it anyways). At that moment I decided that I didn't want to be there anymore and make business with this UPS location and I tell him that I am not sending the package anymore and that I am leaving and he says "okay" without caring at all. As I am walking to the door he ironically says "have a good day." I honestly felt that that irony was very disrespectful. I know that this is something that should always be said at customer service but this is somebody who was disrespectful throughout the whole conversation and now is ironically polite, because I'm pretty sure he didn't mean to wish me a good day. Also, on my way out I told him that I was going to give them a bad review because of my experience and again he ironically said "Okay." This person didn't care at all about me having a nice experience or doing business with them. He was completely unapologetic, ironic, impolite and careless. I am super frustrated. I do not recommend coming at this location. Save your time and energy and out your money on another shipping business. read more

I live in a different part of town and went to the UPS store on Chickasaw because it was close and they wanted to charge me an outrageous amount to tape my box. The owner doubled our price! We presently live in Costa Rica and went to Florida for some relaxation. We also had 3 packages shipped to this UPS store. The employees were helpful and nice and quoted a price of $10 per package. I called the store to let them know the packages were coming and talked to the owner. He upped the rate to $20 per package. The items were already shipped, he knew we were living abroad, and that we had no options. So, he doubled our price. We told him we had a quote, from his employee, that the cost was $10. But, the owner new he had us so he charged us double. We will not use this store again. read more
