I saw this FedEx nearby and like a beacon of hope it guided me to a printer. I'm a big fan of the FedEx print and go system so from the parking lot I was able to email the document to their system and by the time I walked up to the printer I had my confirmation code to print. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes and only 10 minutes behind schedule overall for the whole stop. Overall it was really about as good as it could have gone. 4/5 stars mostly because the parking lot is a nightmare. I was in a hurry and trying to get a spot I could quickly get in and out of when I was basically cut off by an actual FedEx truck that in the end took up TWO spots to park and load, then trying to leave I was blocked my several folks simply because they were waiting to drive by... because this parking lot is so poorly designed. At any rate - it's a clean FedEx. Very small, but efficient. If you need to print something it's not a bad stop in a busy part of south OP.

I rarely leave bad reviews, but I do so if an owner or manager of a business is intentionally being…read morerude / hostile, or if the experience is horrendous and said people don't try to fix it, and don't seem to care. - I have 30 years of customer service experience: retail, restaurant, grocery, and my own business. I've worked in almost every position from dishwasher to owner/manager. I'm literally a customer service expert. - I look grungy today (hat, hoodie, jeans and sneaks), because I'm mostly working from home & just running a few quick errands. I'm guessing that I was treated the way that I was, because I didn't look important enough to matter to the employee (who might have been the manager since his name tag looked different than the first employee's), but I didn't stick around long enough to find out. - If I have an Amazon return, I'll typically go to the Kohl's or one of the UPS stores near me in Olathe (where they are super friendly and helpful). The few times I've used UPS, I've printed off my own label and attached it, as the instructions say, so I have zero experience as to what to expect if I ask them to print it off for me. Actual experience: I left my house with something I needed to return to Amazon, before I had actually done the return online. I was in South OP / Leawood area, and since the Amazon choices included UPS, it said $0, and there was one right around the corner, I chose that. I went into the UPS Store off 135th & Metcalf, and told the first employee that I had an Amazon return, and that I didn't have a copy of the return label, and asked if I could email it and they'd be able to quickly print it off for me. He said, "Sure. Send it to this address", pointed to a label, and didn't say a word about it costing $. The other employee goes to a PC and asks if it's my name, and then says, "Your print is coming out right behind you". I was surprised that it was coming out of a huge printer behind me in the store, as I don't use UPS for anything other than shipping. I put the piece of paper down on top of the box I brought in, said thank you, and started to walk away. He said, "That'll be $1..." (whatever change, I didn't hear because he said it quietly and I was already 10' away). I turned back and asked, "I'm sorry, what"? He then repeated the price, and said, "You have to pay for prints". I then started to try to have a conversation with him, but he immediately began interrupting me and talking over me. My sentences below are what I was trying to say, but each time he cut me off after only 3-4 words. - Me: "I didn't know you were going to charge to print off the Amazon label, as it says free on Amazon". - Him: "We are a printing store, we charge for prints". - Me: "I'm not doing a printing order, I just asked him if he could print the label off for me, and he said yes and didn't say anything about $". - Him: "If you don't want to pay for prints, you shouldn't come to a printing store and ask for prints". - Me: "I didn't. I'm not "here for prints", I'm returning this. I usually return at Kohls and..." - Him: "We are not Kohls, they are a retail store. We are UPS, we are a printing store". - Me: "Can you please stop interrupting me..." - Him: keeps interrupting and starts rambling on about various "printing store" things. - Me: "Can you please stop talking over me. I'm trying to have a conversation with you". - He just keeps on going and starts talking louder so I can't be heard. - Me: "never mind, this is ridiculous", and I pick up my box and started walking out. From 10' behind me, as I'm already by the door, he says, "If you don't want to pay, you can get out"! The hostility and rudeness was beyond what I've experienced in a long time. I don't know if he was having a bad day, if someone else had been rude to him so he was taking it out on me, if he's annoyed with being an Amazon return location and chose to take it out on me, or what. But, you don't ever treat people that way for no reason, especially if you are in a customer service position. I will definitely not use that location again!

You used to be able to recycle Alkaline Batteries here and get credits, but now there's a small…read morecharge, and depends on how many you have. But it's the only place I have found that will take them. You can also recycle ink cartridges and get some credit. Also can recycle electronic cords and other computer/tech items. It's a large store and the signage is not particularly helpful, as much of what's in an aisle is not listed, like paper shredders. The appearance of the store has gone downhill since I was last here about a year ago. The women's restroom should embarrass the company,, as the lights would not go on. I had to find an employee to try, and he had to find another employee to try, and she had to jump up and down and wave her arms for a while before they came on. Things were falling off the walls, toilet paper was just put wherever, not in the dispensers, and there were no seat covers in the boxes for those. Overall impression was trashy and not clean. They do have some nice and helpful employees, including Tina at checkout, and the arm-waver who turned the lights on!

He stated that it is not possible and I would have to find some way to print out a good label before he can help me. I stated that it came already printed on an adhesive. Then he stated that there will be no way to send the package because a driver cannot pick up packages that can't be scan, and asked the person behind me if he could help them while I was mid sentence. I called to a nearby UPS location (Antioch) and asked if there was anyone that can help me. The gentleman on the phone said come on and they will manually enter it in for me. I went in and it was a different gentleman that helped me at the Antioch location than who answer the phone. I stated that the label on won't scan, and he said, "let me enter it manually." I was in and out of there in less than a minute. All and all, I would not be returning to this particular location based on my experience today. I'd rather save my time by going to the Antioch location that is only minutes away. Had I also seen the rating on both stores prior to going, it would have saved me the trip to this store.

The guy helping me made sure my photo met government guidelines for passport photos and was the correct size. I got the exact picture I needed for my new passport and was off. This is my backup post office because they have later hours…read more I think just like the DMV the PO is going to be complained about no matter what. I gave them 5 stars but would say they're not perfect due to staffing shortages but that's not anything they can control. The people who have been in charge in DC for most of the past decade have been trying to destroy them. I've always had good service here. I've had to wait because they only have one window open but that's the worst that's happened. The employees have been very nice and helpful. I'm really grateful to have an option that isn't owned by a big corporation and billionaires!

I have to say first and foremost that making a return from an online seller is one of my least favorite things to do, I dislike it even more when they partner with USPS as the lines are usually long, I never know if it's going to be a hassle, etc. On this Saturday in particular I first tried the Post Office location near my house (which I loathe), but it was closed. A little worried I was going to have to wait until Monday, further delaying my refund, I went online and saw that this location was open until 5pm. I decided to give it a go and down the street I drove. Walking in was nostalgic for me and I was expecting a huge line, afterall it was a weekend in November. I was shocked to find only one other person in line ahead of me and I was up at the front in less than two minutes. The gal working was the kindest postal worker I've encountered in years. She was able to scan my QR code and get my package out the door quickly. Nothing super remarkable about this experience, but it was one of the better ones I've had lately at a USPS. If my local one continues to go downhill I might make the 10 minute drive to this one in the future.
