I was just here last week, however today I was charged $1 for the print for 1 page and another $3.50 for a computer charge to pull up my email request??? This UPS location has a bad reputation but all of the workers here are totally kind-hearted and lovely to work with--when you're able to snag one. The problem with this location is that they're mayjah-ly understaffed. They rarely have more than one person available, which is super hard and stressful for that one sole worker (when I tell you they all do such amazing jobs remaining levelheaded under pressure that I'm convinced they should be neurosurgeons), and just as frustrating for customers like myself, held up in a line that stretches to the parking lot when all we have is a simple Amazon drop-off and the QR code to boot. There's plenty of hardworking, amazing folks out on the job market right now, and this UPS needs to take heed and get a few more staff members to help. read more

Be wise try another location or use FedEx, I had a shipping label sent to me and went to mail/return the small 8x11 envelope went to the store. Showed the label and gave her the info. She then wanted to charge me $3.80 even though last time it was free. She said I have to print it, I attempted to say last time they didn't charge me, she then tried to argue that last time I must have brought in the label. Stay away use FedEx there nicer and no drama. I had purchased a battery for my cell phone that costed $12.00 from Amazon Prime. The battery was a defect and had started to bloat in size when charging it overnight. I then proceeded to do a return feeling not to bad knowing Amazon said there is a free return with this battery. I brought my package to the UPS Store on Railroad Avenue, in Pittsburg, CA because this store was on the list for FREE returns. When I gave my package to the cashier she charged me $5.78 I thought to myself "this is almost half of what I paid for the battery!" The itemized breakdown is below from the UPS Store. You will not believe what they charge you. - $1.49 Bubble Mailer (Envelope w/ bubble wrap inside) - $3.50 Print the return label - $ .60 (3) Copies of the return label Do not bring your stuff here to return things back to Amazon. They rip you off here! I would think that $3.50 would cover the return label plus the three extra labels? The Bubble Wrap Envelope I can understand, but for the same label printed 4 times, that's ridiculous. I recommend that you don't go to this UPS Store unless you want to get ripped off! Remember I found their address on the Amazon App when trying to find a place to return my merchandise. This store was on the list for Free Returns of their products. It turns out they are not so free. I can't say this for all of the UPS Stores that you will be charged when returning something back to Amazon. Two weeks ago I returned something to Amazon and I was not charged when dropping my package off to a different UPS Store. This location is in a large shopping center. This place has plenty of parking. The workers here are well trained and always get the lines going. I've came here several times and they have always been able to help. They offer a lot of services. I would recommend coming here before going to the post office this is a way better option. read more

If I could give this business zero stars I would. Twice today I went in there to pick up my packages only to find out when I got home and checked my amazon orders just now at 7 pm that another package was delivered in the morning and I didn't receive it after going a second time in the afternoon. The only reason I went twice was when I got home I noticed they gave me a package that was intended for someone else. I have had a box here for at least a year and I can't count the number of times my packages have been misplaced. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because I know they can get busy but it keeps happening week after week. I will not be renewing again. As much money as I pay for a box here, my packages should be handled with care. If I wanted my packages to come up missing or misplaced I would just send them to my house where they have been stolen. I would advise anyone looking for a secure mailbox to look elsewhere, just like I will be doing very soon. read more

Candice (sp?) is the best! I am all about customer service, just as much as I am about getting the job done. I came in to print and laminate. Candice was the only employee there on a Monday (November 5th, 2018). There must have been about 8 different tasks and people with who she was dealing. She was very fast, accurate, efficient, could multi-task like a beast! AND she was polite and courteous on top of that. I personally, would have gone crazy and popped off on a couple of people, displacing aggressive symptoms of overwhelm by just the thought of dealing with everything and one. It takes a special person to do this type of work and I am glad there are people out there like Candice here for it! On top of that, the place was very clean! You should consider hiring friendly staff.The lady working at FedEx acknowledged the person behind me knowing I was waiting before the person who arrived because she made eye contact with me. Visited this place on Thursday. First off the parking sucked for it to be 11am in the morining had to circle a few times to get a park. They only have like three handicap stalls which were all taken ( in a boot ) need that stall. So when one finally comes available this idiot in a work truck swoops in a parks all wrong because he knows he wasn't suppose to be there. I will post a pick of him. Finally went inside and line was long but moving. The ladies were friendly and helpful no complaints I got in and got what I needed and was out in no time. Well, walking into a UPS store, I would have thought my envelope was going to be sent by UPS. I went to the UPS store because where I was sending the envelope has no mail service but does have UPS service. Much to my surprise, I get a notice stating my envelope couldn't be delivered and is being returned to me. Almost $7 to mail an envelope and I'm getting it back. When I don't know and my husband needs this by Wednesday. I called and talked to Jennifer, the girl who failed to tell me the envelope was being sent by USPS instead of UPS and her answer was like "duh". I hate working with idiots. I have a mailbox here and sometimes need some shipping help or to buy a box, Tammy and Steve are THE nicest people work with, always friendly and always willing to go the extra mile. This is the best UPS Store I have ever been to! The employees are always well-informed on UPS policies as well as their own store policies. They are always polite and ready to help although the store is always busy and that can be stressful. The manager Sylvia always knows her stuff and is ready to help, Daisy is quick and efficient and Sandra is very helpful and understanding. I have to say that I was disgusted by the service and treatment I received at the store today. I will never visit this location again and I will blog and yelp about this store to all my friends and community. Both the owner and worker were extremely rude and threatening. (I'm a mother of two and a local teacher) I should not have been treated this way. This shows that if they will treat me this way, than they treat everyone this way. I had stopped by this location to get color copies for my classroom labels. (I can choose from a lot of different places to do my business, but chose this location, because it was near my son's school) Prior to going to this location, I called and was told to email the copies I wanted to make to myself and pull them up when I got to the store. When I got to the store and attempted to pull the copies from my email, they weren't there. I would say that I used the computer for all of twenty seconds. I said to the clerk that they are not on my computer and I needed to re send and began to exit. The clerk called me back and said I must pay. I was shocked because I couldn't understand why I would have to pay if it didn't work. (It was there job at this point to inform me in a decent and rational manner about the policy) I tried to explain to the clerk, thinking that he will surely understand once I explained, and just advise me to come back after I resent to myself. This wasn't the case. The owner stepped in and said (not very nicely) "you must pay...see the sign...you must pay to use, we don't care if it did not work for you" I'm a very respectable woman and I haven't been talked to like that in all my life. I said "sir, I think it is a bit of poor customer service to make me pay, and I would like it if you lowered your voice and spoke respectable (after all, I'm with my children, I'm a woman and I'm speaking to you respectfully. Why speak to me so rude and harshly) It could be culturally because they were African-African. I went on to tell him how I'm a teacher and I would probably come back here to do business -- lots of business, but after being treated like some vagrant, that I wouldn't return and I'd advise all my colleagues not to patronize here as well. He certainly did not like that because he began to approach me closer and say "JUST PAY AND GET OUT!!!! I was so angry, sad and frustrated. I wanted to cry, and scream at the same time. I couldn't understand why he would want to treat me like this. As I am paying the dollar to the clerk who began to chime in saying "hurry up and get out" I began to ask for a business card to express my disgust for their services. It was really hard to say anything to them at this point, because, I guess myself and two toddlers weren't moving fast enough for the owner because he began to say "go...go....now...we have business...) I wasn't able to get a business card but was so thankful when I looked down on my receipt and saw the store information and most importantly, a store survey. If you get nothing else from this feedback, understand this, They are undoubtedly unaware of good customer service and that is a problem. As a consumer in this economy today, I have so many choices. Kinko's, Lakeshore, Staples... They should treat every customer like it's there only one. I went to this store twice before the holidays, and twice afterwards, so I've been to the store about 4-5 times with the last 2 months. The last time I went was for a 1-page copy. There were 3 customers ahead of me, so I waited patiently and quietly for my turn, after all, I was a returning customer and not in a big hurry. The store was empty except for the manager who came around the counter to make the copy (it was strange that I wasn't given a key or anything to operate the copiers). As he came around he told me that I could not bring my service animal into the store! Let's see, if I'm blind, how am I supposed to do that. I proceeded to iinform him that he was not allowed to make such a demand on me by both Federal and State laws, but he expected me to follow his directive. Maybe this would not bother many readers, but I am only one of many people. We have so many returning from overseas enrolled in service animal programs.
