I purchased an item through Amazon. It was delivered via FedEx. I ended up not needing the item,…read moreand received a return label through Amazon. I took it to this store and was told they could not ship it as it had a "black diamond" on the box. I told them they had just delivered it to me exactly as it was so how could that be. I was forced to buy a new box and label. How is it possible they can deliver to me, but not from me in the exact never touched box? Total scam. So mad.

This is the only FedEx office I have encountered that consistently results in frustrating issues. We frequently ship RMA labels for warranty replacement parts. Manufacturers often send us pre-labeled FedEx packages, into which we typically place the defective part for return. However, this specific location insists on requiring us to repackage the entire shipment each time sure to the packaging being "express" packaging, a practice that is not enforced at any other FedEx location, including the FedEx ShipCenter in Aurora/Naperville. I believe this issue stems from a lack of training or misguided corporate policies. While the staff may be following instructions, they seem unable to apply customer service principles. For example, Israel "like I said" recently informed me that placing the pre-labeled package in the self-service box would result in the package being returned to me, a completely illogical outcome coming from a logistics company. With no other resolution to the problem than "you have to repackage it and pay for another label". I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to discuss this with a manager or corporate representative. I hope to gain a clear explanation for the inconsistent practices at this location and how they can be aligned with the standards of other FedEx offices.

After todays incident, I feel like giving zero stars. But up till now , it usually had been 4 & 5…read morestar encounters. Today, we needed to return books as my daughter is home from college (for the holidays) and the semester is over. Nobody buys books any more they rent them from Chegg or a similar place. When the classes are over , you return the books thru a shipping place. Today , we go to USPS and the the woman had no smile, no hello, nothing. She says Returns? Oh we cant take that. (She sees that our box of books wasnt taped shut as I was out of packaging tape) Points to the corner and says disgustedly " You have to buy the tape over there". And looks at us blankly. Which meant we had to get out of line and get the tape and get back into the 20 deep line of people. My daughter mumbled something like Screw her, what a bit*%! , grabbed the books and left. She does not have patience for rudeness. I just shook my head and left. Would have liked to negotiate but probably best , that we left. I get it. Its a busy day around the holidays. But you pretty much have a guaranteed job, would it kill you to show some kindness? I have some friends in the USPS , and while they stay busy, and are under time pressure, they are treated decent, make good pay ,and have excellent benefits and its not the worst job anybody ever had. Annndddd its a govt job. My point is, no one as a customer, plans to come in unprepared. But you know what, it happens. So as a govt employee , try a little kindness once in a while. Kindness kills.....

This is the worst post office I've ever been to. The staff is so incredibly unfriendly…read more I went to the Post Office to purchase Priority Mail Express Flat Rate Envelopes. I purchased three envelopes at $35.90 each and specifically explained to the postal employee that I needed to address the envelopes for mailing and that I did not have mailing labels. The employee was extremely unfriendly and dismissive and told me to write the address on the blank/back side of the envelope. She did not explain the proper labeling procedure or provide me with an appropriate USPS mailing label. Afterward, I discovered that Priority Mail Express requires a USPS-produced mailing label. I have now spent considerable time trying to figure out how to properly use Express envelopes for which I have already paid over $100 in postage. I am particularly frustrated because this could have been resolved at the Post Office when I purchased the envelopes if I had simply been given accurate instructions and the appropriate label. The employee clearly hated her job and was rude and curt with every customer. I'd seriously rethink her continued employment.
