Completely understand that ups can get busy especially on Friday's before the weekend hits because people like myself who want to ship packages last minute but yesterday Nov 8th, I walked in to ups and there was no one there but me and the guy Eric started to help me and he seemed as though he didn't know what he was really doing, I shipped here plenty of times before & other people have helped me who were great, Eric on the other hand his customer service skills need some work. He started to help me for a few minutes then the phone rang and he stopped to answer it which is understandable but finish helping the first person before you jump and help someone else. I stood standing there for more than 8 minutes while he was on the phone instead of putting the phone on hold then answering it after he was done helping his first customer which was me. I've been working in customer service for over 15yrs and I understand that customers all come and want the same thing at the same time but learn to help one at a time or learn to multitask and not just leave one customer hanging to jump and help another. read more

I never write reviews, but the service I received was so terrible I had to. I had to send back a package because the contents were broken. I have sent something back here before and it was no problem, so I fligured I would just do it again. I walked in and told the man Ricardo I needed to return an item. I told him the whole story, and I told him about the previous time I was there, I like making conversation. He re-taped my package and printed the labels then charged me. I did not get charged before. Then he gives me back my package and tells me to go to the post office. What? He said he could not send it. He also said the post office would not take the package either because of the box it was in, (amazon box) I told him that was the same box I received. I didnt change anything. How can they send it to me like that but not send it back the same way? He said he didnt know. I asked him why he didnt tell me all of this information from the begining, and before he charged me? He said he didnt know. So he didnt know 2 mins ago, but now are transaction is done, and he has all the information. The intire time I was inquiring why he did this, he had a condescending smile on his face, like he was baiting me to do somthing. He knew exactly what he was doing. I am always in and out of this place. The owner is super friendly and nice but some of the employees aren't always friendly.

I love this location! I always go in to send items to relatives, or to ship textbook rentals. I am always greeted by a young woman with long black hair, or a gentleman. Both so kind! They're mellow and sweet, I get what I need to get done in under five minutes every time and they offer complimentary services at times. I did not hesitate to give this location 5 stars. read more

Shipped an insured package to a customer in Texas. Customer received it in pieces and now they won't honor the insurance due to "inadequate packaging". I shipped the item in the same packaging I got it from Japan. Why would they receive my package and allow it to be shipped if they won't honor insurance? read more

Went in to send a package. I didn't want to spend money on a new bubble wrap envelop so I was going to reuse/recycle one I already have. I asked the guy at the counter to use the tape and he gave me a brand new envelope for my package with no extra cost instead. So nice of him!! Best service ever!! read more

It may seem odd to post a review about a UPS store, but I felt compelled to write a great review for this location. I posted a negative review about a different UPS store and I like to keep my Yin and Yang in harmony. In stark contrast to the terrible customer service provided at the UPS in my home town, this store is always awesome. I have never once walked into the lobby without being immediately greeted by really nice UPS folks. They always respect my time and I like that very much. They are genuinely friendly and for those couple of times when I needed a little extra tape it's never been a problem. They just slap it on there and send me on my way, no hassle, no extra charge. They are quick workers, they multi-task and they are nothing short of awesome. I actually save most of my returns so that I can utilize this UPS store, which is near my job but nowhere near my home. I hope their boss appreciates hard workers because that is what they are! read more

The pulse of commercialism in Downtown Pomona. Yeah they have mailboxes and send packages, but this isn't what this place is known for. Anyone that conducts business in the downtown area knows that this is more than just a UPS store. The owner is a young fellow by the name of Andre who looks a lot like Barack Obama's illegitimate love child, who coincidentally also happens to be well spoken and loves basketball,between him and his sidekick Ismael they make things happen for the rest of us.. The atmosphere is that of a cross between a barbershop and a break room at City hall. On a good day you can get more networking done here than the chamber of Commerce. They offer everything from color copies and notary services, to "creative solutions" and great conversation. If you really want inside on how Pomona works, this is the place to go. read more
