Went for notary service at this store, six signatures for $15 per signature. My wife ask the Notary Public Kiilani Goleco if she can email them to her and said yes. When I am paying, she said the total is $108.60! She charged us for scan of $3.50 + $1.50 per page = $17 extra without telling us! Had she told us about the fees, we could have done it ourselves! My wife says, "OMG why didn't you tell us!?" Her excuse for not telling us: 1.oh well, they've been scanned already! 2. they're busy! 3. she should be on her lunch break! (Transaction was done at 4:18pm). If we're told about the fees for scanning/emailing, that'll be our option to proceed or not, but she didn't tell us! Poor handling of customer! I had an especially HARSH review about this place posted for a couple years. I complained about their horrible service, their tendency to lose packages, their constant problem with giving the wrong mail to the wrong boxes. Along with a couple horror stories of them losing a $800 package and claiming they didn't even though the delivery company had their signature that is was received. And the time they gave me a UPS envelope with a $18,000 check that belonged to someone else. Well I decided to update my review because this place actually got worse. They have a constant turn over of employees, so you constantly have to deal with noobs with your business dealings. That just suggests to me the owner of this store is a tight wad. And from what the employees have said he is a giant female hygiene product. They are supposed to notify you by text that you have packages to pick up but those notices are few and far between. And when they do, you go to pick up packages only to hear the tell you that they have not been processed yet so they can't be given out. (That is the truth, honest to God). So why haven't I switched PO Boxes? I have a small business that I can't just change my address because of all the letter head and paperwork I would have to change. And all change of address notifications I would have to do. Believe me, it is a royal pain in the behind ( ask me how I know). Trust me, find another UPS store....... Avoid if you don't want incompetent crew handling your Amazon return. I dropped off a returned Amazon package and got the receipt. Three days later, I went and tracked the package, ups website says "waiting for shipment". So I called them asking why the status was still "waiting for the shipment. Their response was " that's how it is! It consolidates.. "etc. Which from my experience I know it's not how it is especially after THREE DAYS? So I called again, same response, except this time the woman was even more clueless and chose saying" uh huh, uh huh... "while I was trying to explain my concern. They didn't even bother asking me what the item was or tracking number, just trying to hangup the phone asap. Management, please do something. Had great exchanges for years with both Amanda and Marie. When we finally had cancel our box due to a move, Marie made the transition as easy as possible and went above and beyond for us. People can be so harsh in their reviews. I have had my share of experiences with different UPS store branches throughout California and let me tell you -it can get UGLY. I've even had to call or write in to corporate on numerous occasion. Not with this location. Solid customer service across the board. The girl that works mornings here is not very helpful or informative. She seems to have an attitude in the early morning and only gives half of the information needed do use their services efficiently. I came in to ship a package and she told me they could scan and screenshot. And after driving the 4 miles to take the screenshot of my pre-printed label when I return to the store she let me know that you had to email the screenshot to them at a cost of $2.50. She left this information out which I could've just emailed from my house but instead I won't do business with them I don't like people that waste my time and don't give me all the information. read more

I needed a document notarized urgently and went to this location. I am currently disabled and struggle to walk in pain due to sudden injury, therefore my husband asked if there was any way for someone to come out to our car do to the notary. Don't waste your time at this store unless you like bad customer service and a myriad of other problems to go with it. After experiencing those issues several times over I've been going to the Haven store and never have any issues. However, today, I had to use this store and it did not fail to let me down again with its 200% less than stellar service. They are required to give drop off receipts for Amazon package returns but refuse to do so saying "the Amazon/UPS tracking number is not the actual Tracking number but you can take a picture of the label". Sound shady to you? Do yourself a favor, make sure the picture you take also includes the shady ass employee holding your Amazon return with UPS tracking label showing for proof to Amazon when they go missing, because they do! They are not part of UPS Corp, just a franchise store not held accountable for anything. Believe the majority bad reviews, they are not at all concerned about integrity, work ethic and clearly by so many other peoples notable bad experiences, they don't give a rats ass about customer service. The employees there are bothered to help anyone literally every time Ive ever gone there and the manager is an asshole which is a complete understatement. They've lost packages in the past, charged me for using a strip of tape before, and now charge 1$ for each usps package. Sometimes my profit margin is only 2$ on an item and they want half. Been coMing here for the last 10+ years for drop off mail services and the staff have always been friendly and professional. They're always packed, but manage to get things done accurately and quickly. This time around I came to take passport photos for myself and my 11 month old. I'll give a 5 star review not because of the service I received, but rather, the service they gave an elderly customer. On Wednesday 11/17 I went to the store to pick up a package. There was an elderly man who could barely hear. The young lady behind the counter was very sympathetic and compassionate. He asked how much the printing service was and had a hard time hearing, '30 cents a copy'. She had to repeat several times. He just could not hear. While many people would have just gotten frustrated or started yelling out 30 cents! This young lady wrote it down on a piece of paper and showed with a smile. He finally understood and proceeded with the order. Made my stay there worthwhile even though I was not the one receiving that nice treatment. read more

12/14/20 at 10:15am the girl working there with the red sweater and black glasses and black hair is the rudest employee I've ever encountered. She ignored me and was so unhelpful. I went in the print something and I needed it in color and just simply asking her for help so had the worst attitude. This location is easy to get to and is always busy. It is in a large business center, so there is plenty of parking. If your mail is prepaid, just leave it at the desk and don't wait in line. Do not bring your USPS packages here! This location, as well as their "franchise" locations charge one dollar per package just to drop them off. No assistance needed with postage boxing or anything. After charging me to drop off packages, they didn't have enough paper money in the drawer to break a $20 bill, and had to give me nine dollars in quarters. If you need a UPS store that won't doubt you, use the location at 19th and carnelian you can walk in and simply place your packages in a large been labeled for the USPS. read more

On 12/19/2020 I went into the UPS store to send an overnight envelope. Everyone at the store was very nice. They charged me 45.54 to overnight a envelope to my bank (no big deal I just needed it to get there on time). Instead of arriving on Tuesday 12/22 (what I paid for) it arrived the next day on 12/23 a day late. When I called UPS to talk to them about the issue, they indicated that it was the UPS Stores fault because they did not create the label and ship the package in time. I made an appointment to notarize documents for 2:30. I arrived five minutes early to be told that the person who notarizes doesn't get off lunch until 3:00. Obviously workers need to take lunches; my issue is that if there's a scheduled appointment, it doesn't make sense to intentionally take a lunch during it. I've only been here twice but both time I've had a great experience. The employees here were very helpful when it came to packing my returns and putting them together. I have to give 5 stars for this location. I was in and out in 5 minutes. Coming here saved me some time. The guy who helped me was fast, efficient & friendly. He was even helping more than one person at a time. Talk about multi-tasking! Right when I walked in he said hi even though he was helping someone at the time. I though, ok attentive, i like that. He was able to make me copies (i know its not difficult to make copies but I love it when someone else does it for me) tape my label onto my package, weigh package & ring me up in under 5 mins. Went in to turn in some packages from Amazon and was met with Kilani and her amazing attitude. All I asked for was a name, but she made sure to let me know very clearly that her name is "kilani and I am the manager". That's cool, just asked for a name since her sweater covered it. Her heavy sighs and irritability are many of her amazing contributions as manager of this store. One of packages gave me a label to print and not a code. When she printed the label her lovely personality decided to truly shine through. Before asking to void the label she just went right ahead and voided it. It caused my whole transaction to mess up. I walked out. I got ahold of customer service and amazing fixed it for me, I drove up the street to the ups store at haven and we met with nothing but great customer service. So Rob Wayne who owns the store I would highly recommend investing in maybe leadership classes for your management and get your two star rating up.
