This place has consistently poor service, particularly with regard to notary services. Usually they never have their notary on-site, and one has to wait 10-20 minutes for the notary to come in from wherever he or she is at. Today, a notary was actually present ... but claimed to be "off the clock" at 4:15pm despite still being behind the counter helping another customer. I was told to come back tomorrow at 8am. Nope, no need. I'll be taking my business elsewhere, permanently. I'm not returning and I'd never recommend this location. read more

Made a 9 am appointment for a notary and showed up early. They didn't open till 9:02 am. The woman working was not only rude to me but everyone else she assisted. When I told her I was there for my 9 am appointment she said the notary woman doesn't come until 11am. I even have my text message confirming my date and time. Thank god the customers were friendly and pointed me in the direction of a notary. This is actually the 2nd time I've been there and the 2nd bad experience. Went to this location early in the morning and when I walked in the only employee was helping a lady with notary services. So I knew it would take a little while but you would think the employee would say something, anything to the effect of, hi I'll be with you as soon as I'm done here. She told me I needed to go to the UPS hub in Ontario and get a fricken waybill! Total BS! We ship items using our customers account number all the time. She was just too lazy to use the computer! Horrible customer service. At 6:45, as I was looking for the address in my phone that I needed to send my package to, the representative stated that needed an address so she can enter it in order to close the register out for the day. You do not say that to the customer! I picked up my box and said I would go elsewhere. She then said that she can help me and I said no it's fine, because clearly she wanted to leave and close up business, even though it closes at 7. I have had a rough day so this was the cherry on top. I do apologize to the woman who helped me though because I too was rude and that is not who I am. We've been mailbox holders at this location for almost two years now, and UPS Store mailbox holders for 12 years. This is the absolute WORST location we have ever had to deal with. The employees are rude, barely speak to customers and, when they do, have been overheard making snide remarks such as "Oh, surprise. Another Amazon return!" as a customer walked to the counter. The line is almost always out the door, mainly because it's a cluster**** inside. Our packages and mail get lost routinely, and they'll send you package text notifications at 10 PM - 1 AM. You'll also get package notifications in your mailbox three days after packages arrive, if they bother scanning them in. When you tell someone in the store, you don't even get an apology! To make matters worse, I've contacted the UPS Store HQ THREE TIMES and never once gotten a response from them. Save yourself the headaches of waiting in line and take your business somewhere other than a UPS Store because the same person who owns this one owns multiple locations in the area. read more

I scheduled a 10:00 am notary appointment online and arrived promptly at that time. The store didn't open until 10:05. When I got to the counter, I let the person know that I had a 10:00 notary appointment. She said the notary would be there at 1:00. I asked why they scheduled 10:00 am appointments and she rudely said, "you scheduled that on your own online, we didn't schedule that!" Ummmm, how in the world would I schedule something on my own?! Don't bother scheduling appointments online since they consider that you scheduling that on your own. Definitely would not recommend or return there. read more

These girls in this UPS are the most rude, organized and unprofessional people I've ever dealt with in any UPS store. Do not come here do not get a PO Box here they will not give you your packages they will lose your packages and tell you don't have any, they won't put your receipts in your P.O. Box. When you call to check on your packages they will hang up on you, if you call to see if you have packages they will say yes then when you get there they will say they can't find them to come back in a few hours. read more

They were very helpful, answering all my questions, completing the process efficiently and proficiently. They people behind the counter were happy to be my witnesses. With the new staff , they are rude , unhelpful , and it always seems like I'm jumping through hoops to receive the services I pay for. I've been here several times to drop off packages and have always had prompt and efficient service. Even during the busy holiday season it seems like the staff here has their act together. I usually go here to take my packages, which 90% of the time I already have a shipping label taped to the box. The couple times that I don't, they've been nice enough to put some tape on it for me. I suppose they've stopped doing that? I was charged a dollar to tape it up. Good thing to know for next time, that was a mistake I won't make again. That wouldn't have made me write a review. It was the fact that 100% of the time I get a label printed of the tracking number. No questions asked. Today I was asked to take a picture of the box with my phone. Why? To document that I shipped the box... isn't that what the tracking number is for you might ask? She asks me if I already have it, and I tell her that one is made/printed out for me every time I've been here. She says "Oh, is it?" And proceeds to NOT print me out a tracking number. Just a receipt for the tape. No options given otherwise. Not even a "would you like to get your phone because I can't/won't print a tracking # for you". Customer service ftw... not. I've seen other reviews where this lady has been complained about. Everyone else there has been legit; apparently not this person who happens to be the manager no less... Keeping the receipt with her name on it in case my box somehow mysteriously disappears... Wack experience for something that should be super straightforward and standardized. I agree with many of the other reviews here - the woman who works here is very rude. She makes you feel like you are inconveniencing her with simple tasks like notarizing documents or buying postage. Further, I went there at 9 a.m., when it opened, and there was no one there. When I came back later, there was already a line, and the woman made me wait while she started setting up her store (e.g. putting displays up, moving things around), instead of doing that after she had helped me. To make matters worse, the man who was in front of me was not a native English speaker, and she very rudely corrected him when he didn't know the proper word for cover letter. I went here because it is so close to my house, but if you have any other options, I'd recommend trying another store. read more

My sister and I have a po box at this location that we have been having for over a year. Suddenly we are getting "notes" in our box stating they need to have TWO forms of id's on file or they can't accept our mail anymore... They go to list things such as Mortgage loan papers, car insurance papers, a university (But ONLY certain Universities, Armed forces papers or proof of citizenship papers... First of all, WHY did it take over a year to ask for a SECOND id and secondly, aren't these things PERSONAL that they are asking for with TONS of information on it... All I knw is that we are cancelling this mailbox and we will NEVER refer ANYONE to them... This place is HORRIBLE!!! It seems like management or ownership changed and now the place is awful. Went in to have my livescans done and it was a joke. I should have read the signs saved my money and walked out. Halfway through my livescans the computer died so we had to restart, once the computer turned back the lady had no idea what to do to fix the scanner. Once it was finally fixed we had to restart my rolling 4 more times because she sat and watched my prints not register. I finally asked her to help hold my fingers down for extra force so my prints would saturate the scanner. Finally about 30 mins later she gave me my ATI number. I waited for 2 days and my ATI number is still not found. 3 more days and went back to the store and asked her what's going on and she told me it's a DOJ Issue and I may have to wait 2 months. I immediately told her she was incorrect as I am a Custodian of Records for the State of California. I asked her for a refund since they did it wrong and she said no. I left cause her and her black employee were very rude and not at all helpful. I called the DOJ and they searched several systems and said the ATI number is not good. I have since filed a complaint with DOJ against this businesses lic. Hopefully they get a reprimand from the state. Long story short, you need your live scans done DONT GO HERE!!! What a joke, went there to pick a package i had UPS deliver there, I stood there for 10 minutes while clerk tried to figure out system to release package to me, she had the package and my ID there, and couldn't figure it out, and while I'm waiting, she stops, helps out the USPS mail lady, and goes back to trying to figure out how to release package. I"m on my way to work on a Saturday, I"m now running late, thinking extra 10 minutes is more than enough time to pick up package. I had to leave without package, can't get it until Monday, since they close on Sunday. Worst customer service ever, I asked employees to call Franchisee/owner, no call back now in an hour, looking at the other reviews I know why. Time to get better help who can figure out how to use your system.
