The staff in here are the best, we have had a box with them for about a year now, and I still forget my key most times.. not only am I always greeted by name, they are nearly always going to grab my mail as soon as they see me to give it to me. The girls that work at the UPS store are amazing! Especially Daniel!! She went above and beyond to help us with some wedding invitations and the printing of the labels. We were having problems, and had tried another spot in redding with no luck... Danielle did not have to do everything that she did for us... But within an hour she had what we saw as a huge problem completely under control and we left there with the invitations and the labels... Today while dropping off a package I ran into a friend in the office. As we started to have a conversation catching up since we have seen each other in a long time the associate behind the counter told us if we are going to keep talking we need to take our conversation outside as he is helping customers. We were in no way yelling or behind loud. I explained this to him and he told me he has the right to refuse service to me if we keep talking. I would not recommend this location for any mailing needs. read more

Specifically states Accounts and Business Services on the windows, but if you've got a business account they apparently can't help you out. I ran out of labels and needed to mail a package; had my account info with me and was told "we can't use other accounts, we can only use our account." I asked for blank UPS waybill labels, but they don't carry them.... Go figure... read more

There should be a 0-option. Dropped my package off on July 1- Still has not gone out.! They "claim" they don't have it, yet UPS says they never picked it up/canned it. I will Never use them again! 1 manager, Jonathan, said he was familiar with the box, saying he knew what it looked like and had all the danger stickers all over it..... It was going to Avon! I have used their shipping services twice now and both times have been the quickest, most painless, stress-free, easy-breezy processes ever. I used to only go the the post office to mail anything off and now I'm wondering where the heck my head was at. Something about the post office is cold and official and unpleasant, right? The UPS Store is the exact opposite. It's smaller and more casual and every person I've interacted with has been so warm and nice to work with. And let's not forget those convenient business hours! Hello USPS -- people have jobs. How about some more accommodating hours? Yesterday I walked into The UPS Store with a return sitting in the open box and the printed, uncut return shipping label floating on top. I walked in, was immediately greeted, told them I needed to ship my return off, a gentleman took my box, asked if I would like a tracking receipt ("no thank you"), and he sent me on my way! The customer service wasn't horrible, but definitely wouldn't even hit the good category! I wasn't given the chance to proof everything and once I looked at my receipt, names were spelled wrong! The staff was more concerned about some type of drama on the phone! I would recommend FedEx Kinkos in Redding! Better service! read more

Honestly, some of these reviews are ridiculous. People have bad days we need to start allowing people to......... The bad yelp reviewers do you never have a bad day. I've personally have always had very good customer service and if for some reason, which happens very rarely, that associate doesn't know my answer they grab somebody that does. The owners are often their which adds more to the quality and moral of the store. People are always saying shop local, well here's your chance let's keep our $ in our community. I have no stake in this business I don't have any friends that work at the UPS I just happen to work nearby so it's convenient. This is always for me the best service experience I have had at a store like this, mainly because of one person, who deserves a Yelp for it. If I could give a 6th star for Nathan I would. He is the most conscientious, professional and accommodating person I have ever dealt with at a retail location in over 20 years of being in business. I leave tedious tasks for him to accomplish and he does them more accurately than I do myself and makes sure that I am totally satisfied with the job before I leave. You can tell he is proud to do a good job for you and make sure you are happy. It's been about 7 months since my last post, I've gone in since then and the people are very professional and my packages have gotten delivered on time. The last post I had to ship a passport my sister in law forgot across the country, I did pay for express, I still didn't know what happened, but I just decided to go with Fed Ex for anything that goes across the country and is in a hurry. read more

Nice store, clean, good service. I only gave them 3 stars because they refuse to ship gun parts. Even if it's not a gun parts but just looks like a gun parts they won't ship it. Went in on several occasions to ask about shipping large boxes interstate via ground-service. Always got rapid and helpful responses. Part of the anticipated cargo was the mountain bike I'd parked outside. The person helping me (whose name I regret not asking) accompanied me outside and took his time to measure my bike so that I'd have an accurate and reaslistic response concerning my queries about shipping the bike. The person that helped us, was, primarily, Daniel He is friendly and has excellent customer service skills.If 'Undercover Boss' ever visits this store I have no doubt Daniel will be noticed. I have mailed a total of 2 packages ever with UPS. The first time I mailed a set of steel stove grates. When they got to their destination they were broken in half. I will reemphasize that these were STEEL stove grates. The second incidence just happened. I was mailing a car title so we could close on a loan. UPS lost the package. Even though it had a tracking number they were unable to locate the title and our loan could not close. I filed a claim both times. The first time was straight forward and they paid according to the purchase receipt. The second time they reimbursed the DMV fees for applying for a new title. However, they were unwilling to expedite shipping to DMV to apply for new title. Not only would they not expedite, they would not pay for any shipping!!!! They lost my title and would not help to get a new one. They are NOT competent nor is there customer service good at all. I will NEVER shop the UPS store. I will be mailing fed ex from now on. read more

Have been dealing with this store for 11 months. The customer service is excellent! Whether mailing packages, printing emails, making copies, using their notary services or just handling my mailbox issues, the entire staff has been top notch They are always friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help. Owner appears to be inept: ULine box S19940 Q25 are $0.27; Uline S19941 Q25 are $0.34; environmentally sound starch packing peanuts: ULine S1564, 12 cu ft, $20... total materials cost: $0.40... something as a company owner I would have been happy to provide for free in order to have a happy customer and hopefully good word of mouth... but then I guess the $12.71 is more important than a good reputation and repeat customers... I had an urgent package to send to South Africa - with a critical timeframe for arrival. Every detail had to line up quickly and seamlessly to pull off what felt like a miracle to get the package to the country and venue in time for an event. A store manager Melyssa Baldwin took the lead, being incredibly detailed in ensuring all the customs information was in place for the package to arrive in time which included not just online research but making phone calls to ensure every detail was in place. I came in the day before I received the materials to ship and Melyssa and her team were so friendly and fun - taking a personal interest in their work and lining everything up for the following day. I felt like they really cared if the package arrived on time in good condition - they understood the stakes and were joyful working to make it happen, not just going through the motions of a job. Having lived in the Bay Area over a decade I am so proud to see corporate, big city quality service and performance that exceeded all expectations - better than any service I received in the Bay Area. i would trust this team above any other service provider in town in the future for high stakes or low stakes shipping. They deliver and are a real joy to work with on every front. I almost forgot to mention they also helped me sized the package and work with my pricing options that meet my requirements but for the lowest price available.
