This place has the worst customer service. It's close to my house so it's the most convenient to go to this location but that staff makes driving farther worth it. They all stand behind the counter. If you're carrying a large or heavy box they continue to stand there while you struggle to get the door open. Everything you ask them is met with attitude. Every other UPS store experience at any other location has been outstanding. Alex-you can do better. All of the reviews for this location are basically the same because they are consistently this way. Lazy, unprofessional, rude and extremely unhelpful staff. This seems to be the lowest-class UPS store ever. I don't know if there's some kind of program to hire the un-hirables here or not, but whatever is going on with hiring here is NOT working! All of the women working here clearly have no idea of professionalism or decor whatsoever. I felt like I was magically transported into a ghetto, having to hear crude rap music while employees talk about their personal lives and discuss should-be-private details, while no one is getting any work done. This has to be the WORST UPS Store on planet earth hands down and it's not even close how terrible this one is. It doesn't allow you to give an establishment 0 stars on Yelp, but without a doubt it should have negative. Whoever is in charge of training and hiring the staff and employees must emphasize to always be rude to whoever walks through the door because boy is it hard to find someone who works there with a smile. I understand we are all going through different aspects in life, but it wouldn't kill you to be nice for the 30 seconds a customer is there for. With a laptop shipping deadline of this week, I needed to get it out quickly - but she was kind enough to advise me of a perfect shipping window timeframe for half the price. I was notified today that they were holding a package for me for OVER A YEAR AND A HALF! They never notified me it was there at delivery by putting a note in my P.O. Box. They said they don't do that anymore... I was supposed to check there website to see if I had a any packages; really... I should have been notified of a text service and they just enrolled me TODAY. They had my cell number but needed my service provider. You would think they would notify you after the package was there for a week, two weeks or worst case a month; not, A YEAR AND A HALF. read more

This is my favorite UPS location out of the 3 that are closest to me. All the workers are friendly, helpful and efficient. The location is also clean and organized. I wanted to write a review today because I ran into a tough situation trying to return 3 huge rugs from Amazon. I was a bit frustrated (since I was also in a rush), but the worker that helped me was super patient, understanding, accommodating and walked me through the whole process. This particular store makes my life so much easier! I'm sure it has a lot to do with Britt who works there and is phenomenal. I often have little packages to mail, and I don't want to stand in line at the post office (especially with Covid.) Parking is a cinch. There are plenty of spaces right in front of their store. I'm always greeted by Britt, who I give my packages to and she kindly and confidently takes over . Yes, it costs more than the post office to have UPS mail. The matter is urgent. I donate two big boxes of face masks to China but the shipment is difficult those days. I heard that UPS is still handling packages to China. I have gone to The UPS Store at Ave I to try. The store clerks are super nice and helpful. Three girls are all helping me figuring out the packing, the way to ship, the cost (I broke, that was over $1k).... I used this store often in the past as I live 2 blocks away and it had both UPS and USPS. New owners 2 years ago. Now only UPS and only good for returning Amazon packages. They do not provide their customers with UPS ground shipping, only the much more expensive options. The UPS store on Pacific Coast Highway and Crenshaw, only 2 miles south, provides all UPS services to their customers including ground shipping at a reasonable cost. The biggest complaint though, they are selling non N95, cheap surgical masks at $7.95 each as well as a tiny bottle of sanitizer also $7.95. The same masks being sold at Smart and final supermarket for $1.99 (also grossly overpriced) Price gouging is never good, but during this pandemic, it is despicable! Will only use this UPS location for convenience to return unwanted Amazon returns. Owner of this UPS franchise should be ashamed. Not very community minded. read more

Stumbled across this location on accident, happened to see their sign from the street, they are in the middle of a major remodel but the store is open and accepting packages, the staff is very friendly and attentive. Once the renovation is complete this will be a very nice store. While it is not in my normal travel area, I would be happy to use them when I am in the area. read more

The staff is why they get any stars. They were excellent. I simply wanted to open a mailbox. I work for the government and in order to pay for the box, the owner must fill out the payer information. His staff member wen the extra mile and called his boss. The boss would not let me explain the document and dismissed his employee and me. Seriously? You didn't want a full year paid in advance? It tells me he doesn't want business. He was rude and dismissive. I went up the street to the other UPS store and the owner there took her time to listen to me and understand. I used to come to the Redondo UPS store, but no more. I have my mailbox and will take my business to another store willing to treat their clients with respect. read more

The UPS store 2 miles up the road is worth the extra distance. It has way better customer service and pricing. I was charged a surcharge at this location to have them print my prepaid label and on top of that I almost couldn't get them to print it because it was a jpeg and not a pdf. It's 2019 and this UPS store didn't have the technology to help me print the most common image file. I was eventually able to download a pdf converter on my phone and and get it printed for a fee. I will definitely not be back at this location. I did the same transaction up the road at the UPS store near Whole Foods. The staff was way friendlier and took care of everything for me in under 5 minutes. read more
