Fantastic Customer Service! I came in on Saturday to ship a picture to my son who lives out of state. I was greeted by a young man who had exceptional customer service. He was handling the front counter and had multiple people he was helping at the same time and none of us felt neglected or less than important, something difficult for even the most seasoned customer service professional. I did not have the expertise to pack a framed picture with a glass cover and they handled it for me. He consulted me on how it would be packed, showed me the box and shipping packing to make certain I was comfortable with the direction they were going on it and once I was he had me re-verify the address to make certain, rang me up and then I was on my way! I dealt with a tall, olive skinned, closely cropped black hair male on 3 separate occasions in your store at 101 S Coit Rd, Ste 36 in Richardson, TX. He scanned a free return qr code on 10/30/24 and told me it had to be packaged. I returned home and came back the next day with it packaged. He scanned the same code and said it was invalid. I checked with the company w/whom I bought the items, and they are showing that the shipper created a label but hadn't received the package. The employee did NOT create a label for me and SAID he cancelled the order. He did not b/c the company is showing that the returned package is in transit, which it is NOT. I have the package. I contacted the company and asked for another FREE return qr code, and they will not give it to me b/c they are showing that the package is in transit and the code was already used. You only get 1 free return code. I went back to the same store and dealt with the same employee for the third time on 11/4/24 and showed him the company's address and them saying there was a $7.99 fee to create the label and return it to their address. The employee REFUSED to correct HIS mistake and said I would have to pay the $7.99. This is the WORST customer service I've received in YEARS. read more

I moved to the area six months ago and with a new home I have purchased many items online, Sandwich needed to be returned on Amazon. In addition, with holiday gifts and shipments to my children at college this store has been amazing! They added an additional counter check in for holiday shipping which was great at minimizing the lines. The staff has always been well trained and attentive. It may be under new management because the recent atmosphere has been even more attentive. I went there on 10-29-2020 and only 1 employee out of 3 wore a mask. The computer I wanted to use was filthy and one of the employees did not log out of their gmail account from the computer intended for customers and it also started shutting down. It took over 10 min for the employee to log out, after which I was still not able to use it to access my gmail. As a previous reviewer (Rukmini V.) posted, I also went in to ship an item where the top of the box I had was untaped and was asked to pay a dollar to tape a side that was the length of a shoe box. Much like the previous reviewer it was not that the owner asked for a dollar (which by the way, a dollar is overkill for a small piece of tape) but it was the rude way he demanded it. In all my time going to UPS stores I've never encountered anyone this rude before. And as the other reviewer confirmed it's the owner of all people. His lack of customer service and professionalism is only outmatched by his protruding gut (so you'll know him when you see him). My experience at this location was quite bizarre and I'm still hopeful that they cared enough to send my package in a timely manner. The customer service was non-existent. I wasn't greeted, the cashier was all about up selling items and told me the wrong pricing for the things I was purchasing. The perfect place to send your packages from. I always use them for my Christmas shipper they are so fast and accurate and thats a must during such a busy time of year. I showed up there a week ago with a couple of bottles of wine, not knowing you can't ship wine unless the shipper has a liquor permit, Cliff the owner came to my rescue and offered to take my delivery himself and only let me pay what UPS charges would have been. You can bring up packages boxed or unboxed, and buy the level of service you need. You can even email documents to them for printing, or bring in your thumb drive. Last Friday afternoon, my husband and I along with another couple went into the UPS #1773 store to have some notary work done. The store was fairly busy even though we went at what we thought would be a slow time of day. The man who was helping everyone, Joe, was an absolute rock star. He called the customers by name, worked quickly and efficiently to get things done, and he had business taken care of in no time. It was all done with a big smile and very friendly attitude. Then it was our turn. We were made to feel like such special people. He joked with our little crowd of four and he quickly but clearly walked us through everything that needed to be signed before he could notarize our documents. I do a lot of online shopping which means I go to the UPS store a lot to return stuff with prepaid envelope. And sometimes I go to the UPS store without taping my box and they usually just take care of me. I recently started going to this UPS store since its closer to my work and I always got great service. But yesterday I went at a different time than usual so may be that's why the guy who always helped me wasn't there but instead his boss the owner of the place was there. I walked in and I told him I have a box to ship but can you tape it for me. He took the box and he was like that's going to be 2 dollars... I am like are you joking??? and he is like no its going to be 2 dollars, I was very confused so i asked him again and he gave me the same answer and said something about them not being responsible for my personal stuff. So I asked him why I wasn't charged that fees last week. He asked me who it was that helped me before and when I told him, he made a smart remark by saying "I guess I will have to fire him then". If they really did charge for that service, I would have been fine about it if he told me that nicely but he had the wrong attitude and very unprofessional. Aren't owners supposed to give better service than the employees??? I went to a lot of different UPS stores before but never got this kind of service. I took my box to a different UPS store and the difference in service was night and day. They were super happy to help and taped my box for no charge. I did not get great customer service when I wanted to send the package, the UPS employee wanted to get it done ASAP and did not care about if my package will get to destination right time/date/etc. He just wanted to get the job done and he treated me poorly with not much respect. He got the address and info wrong many times and had to print the receipt many times. They dropped the package off of a wrong address and when I send a survey after going back and forth with emails they said they cannot do anything for this bizarre n horrible experience. I go here all the time and so does my husband but save the money n go somewhere else. They never do their job right n I'm fed up with it I did contact ups for dropping off my package at the wrong location but before they looked at it and took so long that my friend found the package at the neighbor's. I live very close but have never gone to this UPS. I have a printed picture that is very sentimental and wanted to enlarge it as big as possible for a Christmas present. The young guy at the counter was super helpful and eager to help especially around this time of year, retail workers seem to be burnt out and so done with holiday hours. He made multiple copies of my picture until it was perfect. The print looked amazing and the price was way cheaper than I expected. I have done business with this UPS Store for a number of years. They have always been great and professional and I recommend them for all day-in day-out postal business. Recently, however, my wife needed to ship some art across country and have it returned safely. We investigated multiple options and then we spoke with Cliff.
