I love these guys because they make it so easy to have a PO Box and to mail or receive packages! Owned by a veteran and his family they are so sweet and really go above and beyond. A totally different experience when compared to the traditional post office, especially since they have a kids play area just to keep my kiddo entertained while I'm shipping stuff. If you ship from here make sure you get a receipt. They've lost several packages and lost an expensive package of mine. It never showed accepted although I mailed it with them. When I spoke to the owner they refused to help me or take accountability for the issue. read more

This is THE BEST alternative to the post office. The Zip Code Mail Center offers USPS, UPS, FedEx mailing services among others, I'm sure. I've only ever used them for the USPS services. I have been selling a lot of books from school on Amazon and Half.com, so it's so nice to be able to go somewhere and send off my "Media Mail" with absolutely ZERO waiting time. Similar to a Mailboxes Etc. We have had their service for about 10 years. We have moved so we no longer use their service. This is a convenient alternative to the US post office. Because we have been with them a long time, we have interacted with this company over time. Their mailbox rental section is easy to access and is available 24/7 when you rent. You get a key to both the box and the door to the facility. We paid $200/year for medium sized box. There is a $10 fee deposit. The owner is very nice and I consider it an improvement that the previous female employee is no longer there. That employee was abrasive, sometimes rude to customers and not service-oriented. It was too inconvenient to change addresses after so long, that we just worked with it. I am glad I waited her out. They still have an issue with not having enough staff during busy times (3-5:30 p.m.). There is often a long line to get services. Generally, there is only one person behind the counter to ring up sales, mail packages or pick up packages. If they could add one more person during these busy times that could do quickie things like picking up packages or buying stamps and the other person could do mailing and shipping things, it would definitely help the flow doing these times. The place is clean and neat and it was nice having someone sign for packages. read more

Terrible service, don't waste your time like I did. Brought an envelope to send USPS and was repeatedly told "this will not do!" by the clerk. After giving me the same response 3 times I asked specifically why he didn't like the envelope and only then did he explain that he thought USPS wouldn't accept it because it had been used before (I was forwarding an unopened envelope to the proper recipient that moved from where we live now). I took the envelope to a USPS post office and they had no issues with the condition of my forwarded unopened envelope. read more

Love that their last USPS pick up is 5:30pm. If I can't make the post office in time, I know I can still get a package out on the same day. Saturday pick is later too (and the USPS on Coit and Hegecoxe isn't even open on Saturday so I can at least still ship on the weekend without driving for 15 minutes). This place is awful! The owner is always grumpy. I used to come here often to purchase stamps, but at least a couple times when I went there asking him to weigh my mail and he refused. He just said that it's regular mail. I told him I put my business card inside and he didn't even care. It takes only seconds to weigh the mail, after all, I have given him quite a few businesses! I will NEVER give this guy my business anymore. No wonder this place is pretty empty all the time compared to the post office in the surrounding area.
