We've have had our box here for years and when the present owner, Nick, bought it, I will admit there were some changes I didn't care for but Nick corrected the complaints quickly and his staff has always been helpful, attentive & polite. Don't use this place. I have been a mailbox customer over a year. I have had time to see the kind of service they give. At best their service is inconsistent. If they are closing they will not go out of their way to help you. It's at those moments when you're under pressure to get something shipped or a package picked up that you need them to rise to the occasion. They locked the doors on me and wouldn't let me get my packages while the staff lounged for 35 minutes and watched me on the phone explaining to my customer I was not able to get their part for an emergency. I will not be renewing my mail box. In addition, anyone can pick up your packages sometimes they ask for ID but most of the time they don't. Everyone that I have had the pleasure of meeting here has been above and beyond nice and helpful. They all seem like they genuinely enjoy their job. Horrible customer service. I went in to have a key made and the male working there was making keys for the store. Kept saying he would be right with me and continued to make another key. (The customer always goes first.) Then when he goes to make my key he said it wasn't working. Ludacris, I will never go back here. read more

Okay, l have been meaning to review this business and now have the time, l have had a mail box here for quite some time. I have ALWAYS been treated well and would like to point out that sending a package overnight is expensive anywhere you go but the owner stands behind UPS and there are guarantees that it will get there at a certain time, if it doesn't, fill out the paperwork for a refund. It's not the fault of the store because there are many factors in getting it to your destination and one time in 6 years one of my packages didn't make it on time and l received a refund check in the mail after filling out a simple form. The holidays are stressful and it is a privilege to have a place where my mail and packages can go out of harm's way from porch pirates and dishonest people, l have had hundreds of packages come and go from this location and NOT ONE has ever been lost or misdirected. YES it costs more to ship things because it's a BUSINESS that has overhead with the upmost kind and responsible Staff and that costs money, they are handling things that MATTER! The Post Office doesn't give a rat's a$$ about your package, just call about it and see how much they hate their job and how it works to get it resolved. To avoid the Post Office and their terrible attitude l place my trust in Nick and his AWESOME staff because at his UPS Store it will be handled with a FIRST CLASS ATTITUDE! This store goes above and beyond to help their customer's, having my box here is reasonable and l have ZERO complaints only ACCOLADES for a job well done!! read more

We have used the Mission Grove UPS Store for many years and have always been very pleased with their service.  When our son was stationed in the Middle East, every package we sent him was received quickly and undamaged. Today, "Nick" from the UPS Store, called us at home to help with an incomplete delivery to London.  Due to technical reasons related to policies in the U.K., a package was not delivered to our daughter. Within 30 minutes, Nick had contacted someone in England, fixed the problem and called us back with the happy resolution.  That is the definition of great service! read more

Worst customer service of any ups store I have ever gone to. No other customers, but employees talk to each other instead of greeting the customer and paying attention to the task they are doing for said customer. I will not return - better to drive the extra distance to the canyon crest ups where they are always pleasant and attentive to the customer. read more

I'm writing this review because I saw the previous two reviews....and they are spot on. Let me start by saying that I have worked for the UPS store for around 6 years, at 4 different locations, so hopefully I can add some credibility to the two yelpers who had an awful experience here. When I came into this particular store as a customer, I was shocked at their business practices. First of all, they straight up LIE about prices and shipping times. If you ask them for the cheapest option, for example, they will NOT give you the cheapest option and hope that you don't notice...shady! They bank on the fact that, as a customer, you don't know too much about UPS shipping, and they will take advantage of you. They tried that with me, but as a seasoned UPS Store employee I knew better. Additionally, they lie about shipping times. They will purposely tell you that UPS Ground is estimated for 5-7 days, regardless of where you ship it. This is a flat out LIE. UPS Ground to Los Angeles, for example, will arrive in one business day (from Riverside). They lie about the shipping times so that you, as a customer, will purchase a much more expensive option like Next Day Air or 2-Day Air (often times 3 or 4 times more expensive). Here is a map of UPS Shipping times: https://www.ups.com/maps NOTE: as a UPS Store employee, I can confidently say that this map is accurate for the vast majority of packages (pending some kind of error on UPS's part). This store is not here to help you, they are here to take your money at any cost. Please, if you come to this store be aware of their business practices, and if you can, just go to a different store. They are very nice and helpful, I'll give them that, but they will try to take advantage of your lack of knowledge of shipping every chance they get. read more

There are 3 to 4 people working here most of the time. Yet there is only 1 person out front helping. The wait in here is awful and you get eye rolls if you are just there to drop off packages and get a receipt. Newsflash. YOU ARE A UPS STORE. THEREFORE you are there to ACCEPT MY UPS PACKAGE and then you give me a drop off receipt. It's really that simple. Don't give me attitude because I am not in there buying something.. read more

I have been a box holder there for 3 years. It is a service business (not a retail merchandise operation). Most of the customers require specialized attention. The short wait at the store is much better than the long lines at the post office. read more
