125 pounds. That could be a small adult woman, an incredibly large dog, or...the amount of PII / spam mail we have received over the past year. Either way, I had many giant cloth grocery bags full of the stuff. Thankfully, this location had two relatively empty secure disposal bins. The store personnel were super friendly and helpful. One clerk even helped me load all the paper in to the narrow slots located on the bins. Within 20 minutes, we had disposed of all the random credit card offers, loan approvals, or various other spammy mailings that one dare not throw in the trash. This store is GREAT. The people that work there -- Cindy and Avi -- along with the owners of the store are very good at what they do and will carry out your requests exactly. I can ALWAYS get a hold of someone at the store whenever I call during normal business hours. Sure, sometimes they run busy so I will try to catch them at a different time (no big deal). Do not listen to the naysayers. I live overseas and maintain a personal mailbox at this UPS Store. They would receive not only my mail but all my online orders. When I have accumulated a good number of orders, I would ask this UPS Store to pack my items for me and get it ready for shipment to me. Granted, I use SendMyBag (via DHL) and not UPS or FedEx to send my packages but Cindy would pack all my things into a box and all I have to do is email her the shipping label/customs form. SendMyBag (DHL/FedEx) will then pick up the box from the store and get it on its way to me in Asia. No one should be complaining about the hardworking, courteous, and professional staff at this store. Highly recommend! read more

This UPS Store is open on Sundays! Came here to drop off packages on a rainy Sunday afternoon. They were open! Great service and efficient. She scanned the labels on my packages and gave me receipts. I felt so lucky to have found a UPS that's actually open on Sunday! (Convenient location in a strip mall on the thoroughfare.) The wonderful A&J restaurant is just down the road. read more

I needed a mailbox as I had just moved from out of state. I called ahead to make sure they had mailboxes available and what it costs. I think it was $120 for 3 months, pretty reasonable price. The gal that was on the phone was very polite and helpful and told me what I needed to bring with me if I wanted a mailbox. Getting the mailbox set up was fast and easy. Filled out a form, gave my identification, paid, and got my mailbox. I get all my packages sent here, which is great, I never have to worry about porch pirates. Plus they are open in the evening and weekends so after work I can swing by to grab my mail/packages. I also get email notifications that packages have arrived and I've become such a package regular they greet me by name and already start bringing out my packages before I open my mailbox. The only thing that would make the mailbox even better would be the ability to get USPS Informed Delivery for mail sent there. For whatever reason USPS says the address is ineligible. It would be nice to be able to check what mail I'm getting. Unfortunately I don't get any mail notification through UPS, just package notifications. The workers here are always so helpful and greet all customers as they come in. Even when they're busy they acknowledged people as they arrive and say they will be right with them. I feel like a lot of places have lost that customer service attitude, so it's nice to see this UPS store cares about customer experience. They really get to know their customers. The store is nice and clean and they have a shred box to toss things you need shredded, which is convenient. The plaza is pretty busy at times (they're in the same plaza as the Food Lion), but there's always plenty of parking. Holidays are coming around the corner so if you're worried about losing your packages to theft getting a UPS box at this store will take care of that. read more

I've had consistently great interactions with the people at this UPS Store. The hours are convenient and the parking is easy at this location. No lines ever and dropping off my Amazon returns have been a breeze. The same person I usually interact with have been very pleasant and efficient with getting all my needs met. There's a closer UPS store from my place but I go out of my way to come here instead. Good customer service really goes a long way and I just wanted to make note that this store location is an excellent example of that. read more

UPS 6852 My new favorite UPS. New to me, this store will be my go to for all things UPS, shipping, printing and most immediately returning Amazon packages. Super customer service oriented, they happily accommodate going above and beyond. When I came in limping some, they offered me a chair, gave me personal service and really efficiently speeded up the multiple returns I had to make.I will not consider any other UPS going forward. Just wanted to update this. I added the picture from his response so you can see why I don't recommend this place. He claims he did not overcharge me but as you can see by the receipt he did and even by his own omission. It should not be the customers problem that he does not know how to assign a size on a copier in a copy center he is the manager of. So same forms but new year. Went to Kinkos down the block. Same number of pages, same request - one copy BW....... $0.43 and the gentleman was so friendly while helping me. I was in and out in under 5 min. The worst UPS store ever. The people who work there are consistently very, very rude. The only reason we come here is when we absolutely have to (must return something that only can be returned through UPS or picking up a package). From the second you call or walk in the store they make you feel you feel uncomfortable and like the customer is a total inconvenience. I very rarely leave bad reviews- but after the last two times of them being actively rude, I just wanted others to know. Definitely do not shop here- go elsewhere when you can. read more

Excellent customer service! The sales associate, Jenny, was super helpful and friendly! I was greeted as soon as I entered through the door. She answered all of my questions regarding renting a UPS Box. She also explained the price differences between the Box sizes and gave me suggestions on which one would be best for me. Very knowledgeable! The store is very clean, looks well maintained, and is very organized. Jenny showed me how the staff scans and stocks customers' packages as soon as they're delivered at the store. She made setting up my new Box very easy and pain free. The store is hard to spot from Rockville Pike, but the gps takes you right to it. Plenty of parking spaces outside... and conveniently within walking distance to The Halal Guys if you're feeling hungry after your store visit. Looking forward to doing business with this location! I've only been to this store one other time but they've become my favorite UPS Store. They stock a great selection of supplies and have the best customer service. Both times I came unprepared to ship but the first time the owner helped me to pack my Dad's new iPhone so it got there in perfect condition. This time today a young man named Get helped me get my iPad wrapped so perfectly that I'm not worried about it arriving safely. He was patient and kind as my mistakes made him have to redo my label. Gave good advice and I really like how clean and sanitary the store is especially in these times. Definitely will be coming here whenever I need to mail or ship or fax. I will never go back to this particular UPS Store, customer service is non-existent in order to nickle and dime you. Had an issue with an Amazon return, was told to use the computer to help solve the problem, but there was no mention of the $3.00 charge for using the computer. Yes, it's perfectly fine to have a sign posted above the desktop that there is a charge for computer use, but if you're going to invite someone to use a computer that you charge for usage, it would go a long way to also VERBALLY inform the customer that there is a per minute fee associated with using the computer just in case the sign is missed. This store charged me 99c for a stamp. I ended up paying $3 for 3 stamps. I didn't realize I can get them at 55c a post office. The lady G. would not give me a refund and was rude at me about it about how tThey gave me a receipt but won't allow a refund for stamps. The receipt is worthless. I would give 0 stars if I would. What a horrible experience - I went to this location to ship two packages, the first going to a rural address in Texas. The sales associate couldn't locate the Texas address, but I told him it was ok, that I could go to the Post Office. I wanted to move on to packing and shipping the other package. The sales associate did not. He proceeded to tell me to Google the address because he thought I was mistaken and it was not a real address. I looked up the address, and shocker, it was a real address. I again told him I would just take it to USPS. He proceeded to argue with me, asking me if I had ever shipped anything to that address before, how long the person had lived at that address, etc. Did I mention I'm 9 months pregnant and the heat index is 110?! I just gave up and walked out of the store. When I got home I called and asked when a manger would be available so I could file a complaint. I really didn't want to get into with this guy again. Instead of just giving me the information I asked for, he pressed me about what I was complaining about. I told him I wanted to file a complaint about him and to please let me know when I could speak to a manager. He started arguing with me AGAIN! I hung up the phone. About 15 minutes later the manager called me to ask what happened. I recounted the story. And after all that he still did not apologize for the poor customer service. I will not be going back to this location. Which is really sad because it's the closest one to my house. read more

I went to drop a package off at my local UPS store 6852 this afternoon. The worst experience of my life. For one they only have an Indian lady with a language barrier working the front. She did not know what she was doing, she didn't understand what I was saying, but the worst part is that there was no one else to help translate what I was saying. Now I am in no way trying to make fun of or even chastise her inability to speak or understand English. It's unprofessional to have a big line form because it's taking 30 minutes for each person to get help from this lady. I truly hope that whoever own this store will hire a bilingual person to help in such situations or let that Spanish lady who also works there and speaks clear in English run the front. This is one of the friendliest and most efficient UPS stores in the area. I've utilized their services to notarize, scan and ship several documents, and my experience with them has been excellent. The owners are very courteous and helpful - they advised me on rectifying one of my documents to be notarized, and that saved me a lot of trouble - and their prices for scanning/printing are very reasonable. Its great to have this full service UPS location so close to Twinbrook (the other one I know of is in Rockville town center), and even better that doing business with them is so easy! read more
