Yesterday, I wanted to make a quick return to Amazon. When I pulled up I noticed a line already at 8:00 am. The people in line were all ladies and we chatted -finally, after 20 minutes, the woman at the front of the line stepped in the store and asked if there were additional people that could assist. The lone staff,"Leo" was rude -raising his voice telling the woman to be patient. Honestly, he came across as pompous. Then he went off on her about not wearing a mask. Some man in the store seemed to be egging him on. The woman was wearing a mask and just pulled it down so to be heard. She was in the doorway and at least 20 feet from the counter. I recommend printing return labels on your own printer at home if you have one!! It will save you $3 as they have a $2 print service fee plus a some change for each page. The staff here is friendly! I have used their services a handful of times. Usually when I visit there is a long line, but last time I was there I noticed the line was long because the customer at the front kept loading a new QR code for about a dozen packages! I was also doing an amazon return and saved photos of my QR code as screen shots, so I don't understand why previous reviews are blaming the long line on the business... when it isn't their fault that some customers come in not ready. Back in November (maybe December can't remember it was 4 months ago) I witnessed a customer yelling at the ladies behind the counter about the line and they still maintained their positivity when they helped me immediately after! I just went in a few days ago and they are still helpful and kind for a fast paced location. This morning I went to this location and honestly had the best experience! It felt very safe, the woman who helped me was SO considerate, and she took care of everything I needed! So simple. They have it set up so you can email them whatever you need to print and you just pay 11cents per page. Fed ex would of charged me computer time at 49 cents a minute then 60 cents per page. I had to print 80 pages btw. So that was a total save.....Easy peasy. Gone into this UPS store several times for various services and I can't stress to you enough, how unfriendly, unhelpful and overall poorly run this store is. This location is most convenient in relation to where I work. But quite honestly, I'd drive many miles out of my way to avoid such incompetence and miserable attitudes. I'm not looking for more than basic common courtesy & efficiency, but apparently that's too much for them. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else !! read more

The employees there are really nice but I had a bad experience once the packages arrived at their destination. I shipped about 15 plastic tubs, and insured them all. They were durable, and I bubble wrapped everything, but I got insurance just in case because some of the items were very expensive. Most of the boxes arrived fine, but a couple of boxes had many broken items. Unfortunately, these were expensive items too: a $300 juicer for example. When I tried to claim insurance they told me they couldn't honor the claim because they couldn't inspect the boxes, and even if they did, it probably wouldn't be honored anyway because I packed the boxes myself and they have many rules about all objects being at least 2 inches from the side of the box etc. Just wanted to warn anyone who is thinking about shipping expensive items. It seems making UPS employees pack the box at the store with their materials is the only way you can hold them liable for damage. read more

What an amazing UPS location. First off, the store is super neat and organized. The functionality of the store is also nice in the respect that the personal post office boxes are off to one side, and then there is a package prep station on the other side, giving you lots of room to prepare multiple packages for shipping out. " Let me remind you, I didn't say anything, I just tried to mail something, and then well I stopped and didn't try to buy some stamps but; just leave and realize you will never go back to the Post Office ever again. I just mailed a pkg @ this location. My second time in a week. All is well with the service, etc. They have a posting on their door for all to see that a mask is required to enter the store and if you do not have a mask, please come back when you do. A UPS driver walked into the store w/o a mask, then out again (walked right by me) then he came back in, stood in the back next to another driver with a mask and talked to employees all the time this guy did not have on a mask. He was standing around for what I assumed was the final packages. So, I asked "Leonardo" why this driver didn't have on a mask when the sign clearly states that "if you enter the store, you must be wearing a mask". Leonardo's response back to me was "Oh, he doesn't work here, he works at the warehouse". My response back, "It's your store, you have a sign that states masks are required... why is this guy allowed into the store". Leonardo didn't respond. I realize it's "uncomfortable" to confront someone, so is contracting COVID. This is disappointing & employees need better training. It made me uncomfortable needed to say something. Wasted 66$ using there Livescan fingerprint service. They guaranteed that my employer would receive the prints in 3-5 business days and I could start work. It has been over two weeks now that I've been waiting for my prints to be ready, and when asking about what happened with my prints and a refund they all of a sudden couldn't help me. Horrible owners. They should be in jail. I use to have an open account with this store..since I was regularly mailing packages. I then closed my account and paid the balance in full.(kept the receipt showing balance paid. Zero balance.) A few days later the owner started calling and told me I owed him over $500 dollars. It went so far as him showing up at my job and harassing me. I ended up having to hire an attorney for harassment, make false claims, and illegal credit practices. Do not go to this store. The staff at this store are incompetent, lose packages and lie. I called twice in one week to find out all of the details required to have a package sent to pick up in their store. They told me to use a tracking number and include my phone number and that it would cost me $10.00 to do so. I called every day until the tracking number showed it had arrived. I went in person and they told me it hadn't. I returned a few days later and they said it hadn't even arrived and that I should go in person to USPS to enquire why not. USPS told me that the UPS store had shipped it back to the send - recorded with the tracking number. This is not the first bad incident with rude and moronic staff at this store. Don't walk. So if you ship a pkg with UPS expect claim to take forever and lies! I shipped a box home to myself from this location. One item ended up broke. I went online to find out how to report a claim. Online tells a person who has an account you can start a claim online. So I did. Then I received a call a few days later from a UPS REP. He asked about the claim then asked if I could send pictures and would supply a link. I did and then he needed more pictures and I gave them tons. A complete story of why I had three boxes shipped to my home when on vacation. When I purchased three figurines, receipts of purchase, pictures of broken item, the box pictures from all sides, how item was triple wrapped and wrapped with manufactures own wrappings that these figurines all get wrapped in when they're shipped all over the world by the company that even makes the figurines and double boxed. Then I had to email back and call, call to get any where with UPS. Then original guy ( I think) sends back a simple email that tells me I have to start all over and claim with the shipper store in Santa Barbara. That even though I sent the box home to myself I have to claim through their store. I called them and never heard from them. I called again and was told they would call on a Monday they never did. Girl from UPS store claims she called on a Tuesday ( I didn't get message or hadn't seen message on my desk phone down stairs). Point is she tells me my claim for $290.00 was denied. I said, "Who put in a claim for $290.00, I didn't ". It seemed like she didn't even look at my claim or pictures . If the original UPS REP (from online service & claims) even sent them all the pictures (upspictures.com), I sent and emails I sent with every thing they needed. The attitude of the first guy before he even handled my claim or got my emails was that they were going to do nothing ( low voice, callus, didn't care if I even heard correct phone number to call him back ). The fact that they NEVER, EVER called me after I sent my claim pictures & several emails of everything they needed (7 criteria) sent over and over by me. Is proof they were trying to make this extremely difficult for me to even claim! Also hoping I would forget (as I did many times over 2 MONTHS waiting for any answer for my claim) of all this ridiculous hoops of needing more and more for pictures too w/asking only by email for them, all going on for $29.00. After all they all made me surely work all the time for a $29.00 claim not $290.00 like UPS Santa Barbara said I put in and claimed on. Lies! all Lies. Both places lied online and this UPS store in Santa Barbara! Denied claim because of how item was boxed. They don't even know the amount of what I claimed or that I sent a receipt showing the price of $29.00 ! Also it was pkg the same way the retailer gets them in Santa Barbara from MEXICO ( meaning bubble wrapped, and newspaper packing all around figurine in it's own collector cardboard box and even double boxed on top of that. Me thinks since this isn't the first time UPS has broken stuff on me that I've sent home ( even when their own stores box it). That perhaps they're handling packages to rough and throwing them on carts, in trucks and unto airplanes. That's a strong possibility too , right UPS! read more

The staff are really nice but whatever you do, don't go here for your Live Scan. My nursing license endorsement has been delayed for months because they filled out the form wrong, twice. (I went in again to have them re-do it yesterday and just got a call from the Board of Nursing today telling me the UPS store had resubmitted it incorrectly as well and I should just go somewhere else.) These Guys and Gals are great! I didn't realize how great this establishment is until I went to FedEx Kinkos a few times for shipping. They go out of their way to make things easy for you. Everyone is nice in the store and there is never too much of a wait. My only complaint is I wish they were open on Saturdays. I've been coming to this store for a few years now and feel bad because I should of written this review a long time ago. I've never once had one single issue there and I go here almost weekly.
