I was in and out of here in no time. There were a couple of people in line in front of me, but there were two girls working the counter so the line moved right along. So my wife and I ditched Hughes Net Satellite Internet and found out we had to return their 7 year old equipment via shipping (at our expense!) UPS has always done a solid in providing shipping for art, so surely they could ship dish components. We met Francesca at the front counter. She was so great to deal with in packing and shipping out box. Good prices ($38!) for a good sized box with a satellite dish and transponder in it. Francesca and her coworker helped with the box and got us in our way. The customer service in this location is excellent--attentive, informative and cheerful. The guy threatened me on my way out because I asked why everyone was so anxious in there. Everyone working there was super anxious and I asked and one said because she had allergies and then the whole store highly stressed out and on edge and I asked one of them I need a stamp and he got aggressive and super defensive when I said it seems everyone's on meth in here. Amazing customer service! The wonderful lady working was by herself and having to multi task. I was having fingerprints done and mine are tricky and difficult to get due to being in the medical field and somewhat rubbed off. She was so patient and sweet. Customers were coming in, and we would pause and she would come right back. Anyone else I think would have gotten frustrated and said we can't do this service for you. My prints turned out perfectly! This is the third time I've been into this store to either drop off or mail packages. On the most recent visit, everyone working there seemed to be out of it on meth. They were completely tatted up from hand to neck and looked out of it, making an attempt to do their job but barely holding on to reality. Amped up, edgy with a desperate tone to them all. My wife and stepchild came in to get a document notarized and were refused by the notary at this location. The reason stated was moral objection. This left both my wife and stepchild in a frustrated and insulted state. I felt this was wrong of them to do and notified the store formally. According to the National Notary Association, a notary should not refuse based on personal bias. Here is an excerpt from their website (https://www.nationalnotary.org/notary-bulletin/blog/2015/07/when--no-and-when-refusing-not-allowed): Signer Bias: As a public official, you should not refuse a notarization based on personal feelings you may have about the signer's nationality, religion, race, age, lifestyle, gender or disabilities. Now, this requested notarial act was perfectly lawful and they were able to get the document notarized elsewhere. But, as a patron of the establishment I found this refusal unacceptable. We will no longer do business at this location. I hope they consider this message in earnest and speak with their notary accordingly. Or, just stick to shipping. read more

On Monday July 12, 2021 at 3:12 pm I had a man who works for me take four small boxes of jewelry to the UPS Store, 3005 S. St. Francis,, Santa Fe, NM 87505 to pack in a box and send it to me in Nevada. He was charged $52.07 for the shipment which included insurance. Delivery was supposed to be Thursday July 15, 2021. When the package did not arrive on Thursday, I looked up the UPS tracking number and it showed label created and no other information. I called the store the next day and spoke with an assistant manager who told me that "it was not her problem" and that "UPS never scans the numbers" and I should talk with UPS because their UPS Store has no liability. She said that UPS lost it and not their store's problem. When I questioned her and told her I was an attorney she hung up on me. I then had the same man who had the package shipped go to the store and she told him it was the driver's fault and it was not their problem. She also told him that she did not remember seeing him in the store. He said it was a young man who took the package. She then looked at the other woman in the store and they both looked "funny" at each other and said "oh". I then spoke with the manager at UPS in Santa Fe who said they have had complaints about this particular UPS Store and packages being "lost" or disappearing from the store. He also said the assistant manager was lying when she said that UPS does not scan the packages because they scan them multiple times. I also spoke with the UPS Store franchisor headquarters in San Diego and they took down the information and said that most of their franchise stores have cameras to see what happened. They also told me the store owner's name and that they would have him call me. He never did. The following week I filed a complaint with the Santa Fe Police Department and they were very helpful. They sent an officer to the store to investigate. The officer called me after meeting with the store manager and was told that they mixed up the labels and were tracking the package down. This is a very different story than I was told that UPS lost it. The next week I sent the same man who tried to send the package back to the store to get last names so I could bring a fraud lawsuit against the store and certain individuals. He was surprised when he was told that they had found the package and would call me and send it overnight. They never said a word prior to him going back to the store. They did send it and I received it the next day but I never received a call from them to apologize or for them to tell me what had happened over the three weeks . read more

I have been a mailbox holder for almost two years at this location over the past few months this place has gradually gone down hill. The owner instead of taking his time and looking for the package he tells me "come back tomorrow I'm busy with customers" as if I'm not a loyal customer. Instead of pumping people like cattle he should take his time assisting his customers with respect and not raising his voice out of frustration for his own mistakes. I won't be renewing my membership anymore unless he gives me a renewal on him because this isn't the first time this place loses my packages or accepts damaged packages that I end up having to come out of pocket for. read more

I shipped a package that needed insurance. The owner was very accommodating, even repackaging for me. He charged me TRIPLE the cost for insurance though. Something I didn't realize until I got home and did some internet research. When I called him he just got defensive and belligerent. By then the package had been picked up by UPS and I had no chance to recover it. I suggest that all Santa Fe residents choose another shipping option. Bill is a crook. read more

Do NOT rent a box here! This is the worst UPS store I've ever used. In fact, they make the USPS and the pony express look efficient!! I rented a box here and they treated me like I am mentally challenged. There is never a slip in the box when the tracking numbers online say it has been there for days. They act put out, won't look or sometimes do not look at all, insist the computer is "right", it's ALL human error anyway. I will come back the next day after calling multiple companies about shipping and receiving and they (this store) will still insist it's not there. I go back to the car and look at tracking on my phone same story. Oh wait... here it is. Are you messing with me!? Seriously people! You've cost me time, gas and sanity!! After 7 mistakes SEVEN and every single package, delivered got "lost or never showed" (even though it was sitting right behind them and sometimes I could even see one of them for 3 whole weeks!). Just sitting there. My cousins birthday card got returned to me after they charged me to mail it! Employees too lazy to do anything. The other services and discounts for renting a box here were also not applied. I am disgusted. If this is the future of customer service... just get out and let me run your store! Unacceptable! Huh, I'm not sure what to make of the negative reviews. I've been here a few times, once to ship, once to have fingerprints done, and today to get passport photos. It's clean, organized, and I was greeted right away. The phone was answered each time (I always call in Santa Fe for just about anything because lord knows that places like to just randomly close for no reason). I was in and out each time. The short delay I had for fingerprints was explained ("Hi, I have a short print job that I need to finish and then I shouldn't be more than a few minutes. . . "). Today's passport photos were done quickly and took maybe 7 or 8 minutes total. I got all 4 photos for 13$, which is reasonable. I would highly recommend this place at this time. read more

Dropped off a prepaid package. Super friendly staff. They also will package your items for return for you, this is a great service they offer. The clerk gave me a printed receipt for my package, that was a first ever. In other states they grunt when you drop off a package, here they actually take it seriously, give you a receipt and a smile. Appreciate the great service. read more

This store is horrible. I was forced to go here to get my fingerprints because the other ups store had a broken computer. So after traveling all the way across santa fe, to find this store, I decided to buy a card as well. They charged me double the federally mandated price for a stamp and claimed it was a "mark up". I'm pretty sure this is illegal, since the price of stamps is regulated to be the same all across the United States. Long story short, just go to the post office-the lines may be longer but at least you won't be ripped off! read more

I read the other reviews and could not believe I entered the same store. I have been to this store on at least three occasions over the past 3 months. The services were: using their computer to print from my thumb drive, faxing, and use of copier by myself. 1. I was not charged for using the computer to print! Even though only a minute at most, they certainly could have charged for that time. My copies were charged. 2. Faxing a document that had been printed from my thumb drive. The fax machine at the receiving end was having problems so they graciously scanned and sent the document on email. They suggested it, and I was only charged after the fax finally went through on the second time. 3. I used the computer to print a form from my thumb drive and was only charged for the 2 copies. I returned later, after completing the form, and planned to use their self serve copier. It was finicky so they graciously again offered to assist me to print double sided copies, etc. They didn't just fix or tell me to use another one. My point is, their customer service was first class. Though the tasks were fairly typical, they still smiled, showed a willingness to assist, and to make sure I was taken care of. I have only rented a UPS box in Denver. It was a good experience. No problems. When you get good service today, sadly it becomes the exception to the rule. Well these guys made simple tasks very pleasant. This is my go to store, even though I have one closer. I thought the service exceptional! read more
