Excellent family owned UPS store. We've been mailing stuff from here for years and am always taken care of in a quick and friendly manner. They don't inflate their shipping prices like other nearby UPS stores we've tried. They have notary services here that's a whole lot quicker offered same day walk-in (no appointment needed like at all the banks!). They are cheaper than anywhere else too! They have shipping supplies, mail box rental, copy making etc... They always provide exceptional service and their location (in the same strip mall as Dunkin Donuts on the end) is easy in and out! So convenient... the only UPS Store open on Sundays. Located in the middle of a strip mall at the corner of Schaumburg and Plum Grove Road... they close at 3pm which is reasonable for even late lazy Sundays. Glad I looked on Google! read more

I was trying desperately to get a package picked up that day to be delivered the next day, and when they said they had already had their last pickup they refused to help me find another pickup spot that picked up late. They actually told me to Google it! What kind of customer service is that? Was I angry? You bet, but it was obvious I needed to get that package out and they treated me like I was an inconvenience. Finding a dropbox on their end that picks up past 6 pm would have been a lot easier than me driving around looking for one that picked up late. They also told me there are no late pickups, that I'd have to go to the hub, which was about 15 to 20 miles away, which is patently untrue. There are many standalone pickup boxes that pick up late. I found one about 3 miles from their store, 1 1/2 miles on the other side of my home, that picked up at 7:45. The only reason I knew that was I'd used it before, so I basically had to drive double the distance while trying to Google dropboxes that picked up late all because these owners were incredibly rude and inept. Not to mention, I believe they weren't even wearing masks! Nope, not good. Not good at all. Normally I only give 4-5 star reviews as I don't like to bad-rap a small business. But this man had me so upset by the time I left that there was no way I was going to be nice. You want good UPS service go to the one at 3 Golf Center, Hoffman Estates, IL. I've only needed to come here when I already have pre-paid packaged to drop off, but I always have to wait in line for a receipt. Perhaps they just are not that busy other times I go, so they only staff one person at the front, but the majority of the time I have been in here there has only been 1 person at the checkout working as fast as they can to help us all in line. They are always courteous, and they even put out treats at the checkout counter. I drop off my box with them, and get a printed out receipt, then I am on my merry way! Whilst I was waiting in line, I did notice they sell different cards for different occasions on little spin wheel displays, didn't need one at the time but it was entertaining to spin & scope out their selection. They also have a display of the different size boxes stacked on on top of the next, as you can see in my picture. It is basically a floor-to-ceiling display to assist you in visualizing exactly the type you'd need with no confusion! Overall it's a decent store. Nice staff, clean facility, conveniently located in this little strip mall next to Dunkin Donuts, and must keep busy, because I do always have to wait in line of at least a few people. Clean, convenient, and quick. This is the Schaumburg/Plum Grove UPS. Although I often forget it's there, I frequently pop into this location to drop off prepaid packages or pick up shipping odds and ends. You can grab a funny or cute greeting card if you're in a pinch. They also have printing, copying and faxing options...you know...for the 99.9% of us who don't actually have a fax but need to use one 1-2x per year. Employees are friendly and helpful and there's always parking available! read more

I have frequented this UPS store for about 6 years now! I have had a UPS Mailing Box there for the majority of that time. I receive and ship a lot of packages, and it is nice that my packages can be shipped here, and I know they will be waiting for me safe. I don't have to worry about being home when the mail truck arrives. They also aren't as stingy as some other shipping stores I have gone to. I pretty much quit using USPS when I brought in a box (a small one, like the size of a cd case) and it needed just a tiny bit of tape that I didn't have. They offered to sell me their $3.49 roll of tape. I said, 'can't I just have a small piece off your tape roll right there'?!? And the answer, 'no, you can buy this if you want'. So to say the least, I didn't ship my package there, I walked out. Now, I'm not saying things should just be given away, but this was simple customer service here. I was going to use your shipping service, and pay you for that, and all I wanted was like 1/10th of a cent worth of tape. Now I do try to always have my packages taped up and ready, but there have been a few occasions I didn't have tape, or when I purchased a box at the UPS store to ship in. During these times, they didn't tell me to buy tape, they would just tape up the box no questions asked. The service is friendly and fast. If you need a mailing box, or just need to ship a package, this is a great place to do it. read more

The kid that's working there has a power trip. My label wouldn't scan and so he said I had to pay $3 for me to email it to them and have it printed. I asked if he can scan the barcode off of my phone and he said no. Couldn't give me an explanation as to why. Just a "no". I've been to other stores where they've been able to scan off of my phone. read more

Typical crappy business Call and ask if they do notary and they say yes. Drive to the location to find out "corporate policy" doesn't let them do anything related to deeds. Call the next closest UPS store and will do it no problem. The corporate policy is the lady is mad I have 6 pages to notarize and Illinois law caps them to $1 per page. Why not just be honest and tell me you don't want to do it? Well I don't want to give you the $300 per month I spend in shipping and give it to the store who gladly did the notary and charged me the $6.00 read more
