I opened my second POBox with this location in 2015 before moving from California back to Arizona. At the time Pam helped me get that set up, and was nothing short of amazing until her passing. Mallory and Frank have been very helpful during my time. Keeping my PO Box filled with mail regularly, free of junk mail, and packages always ready to be picked up. Time has come that I don't need that service any longer, so I closed it today. I pop by this UPS Store at least once a month to mail some various trinket across the country to my sister or to return an Amazon item. Without fail, Franklin and the team are always pleasant and willing to go the extra mile without even being asked. They are always quick to explain how I can save money or how to get the package to its destination as quickly as possible. The people were fine, nothing extraordinary in terms of customer service but they didn't hurt my feelings either. Not addressed when someone was stood at the counter and I was in front of it, but ya know.. the reason I came on was to warn others, as everyone else is doing these days, my Amazon return needed an email printed out. They usually charge you 50 cents for a courtesy sheet, but now it's 5$ plus tax for a single sheet of paper I don't get to keep on standard white for the purpose of mail. If you change zip codes as much as I do, then having a mailbox in a secure location is pretty important. Situated in a busy strip mall, parking is surprisingly easy here. It is conveniently located in Scottsdale and one of the better locations I believe. I can't say pricing on shipping costs but I can speak of their mail services. As I mentioned, if you prepay for a mailbox, use it in its entirety because they will not refund for early cancellation. You will get email notifications for any package deliveries, a bonus for us online shoppers. The staff is pretty friendly and accommodating. During peak times, you may have to stand in line. On a side note, their greeting card selection is really the best ones you can find! Purchase a few so you can pen a note via snail mail for the sheer pleasure of revisiting an ancient method of delivery. read more

I went to this particular UPS Store for my 3rd and very last time. The wifi is always a problem. This time a female worker who said she was the boss first told me it was bad, and said maybe if i stood next to the window i could get a better signal. It didnt help and she said she could process my amazon return in her system. I was surprised and i asked if she meant by going in to my account and she said yes! Needless to say i said i would go to a different location. She told me to stop being rude to her and never come in again. Done! Again dealing with Steven. Again he asks to change brightness. I admit i needed a box for an item but ups store is customer service business. He couldn't print a receipt for one of my returns. One of my returns needed a label he wanted to charge me 5 dollars. Ive had other reps at this store print for free and since he messed up my receipt he should of printed my label for free. You have lost a customer. I will be going to the osborn store for all future needs. They have more smiling faces and not someone that calls me a liar and tells me it's been a day. 112 degrees outside and I generally don't run my air conditioning in my car except for guests. I finally get to the UPS store on my way home to ship exchange yet another Chrome messenger bag (they're awesome, I'm just picky). As I'm standing at the counter filling out the shipping information I here a mans voice behind me.. "can I get you some water, or a soda pop? You look like you could use it".. as I swung around there is one of the most hunky daddies Ive seen in ages! Cropped short hair and shadow beard, tan, furry and had the most devastatingly piercing blue eyes. As I composed myself (yes, I had the vapors) and smiled back I couldn't help but think about his hot body all over...... well never mind! Super mega friendly service with smile.. as soon as I got home I was trying to think of anything else I could ship somewhere, anywhere just to see him again. Woof! This UPS store is the best. They are so helpful in packing and shipping items for me. Suggesting the best way to ship regarding price etc. Wish they stayed open later, but it has been a very long day for them...and dealing with the public can be stressful, and certainly unpredictable. I was attempting to drop off two different Amazon returns and the bald man with glasses was so extremely rude and condescendingly told me to "read the instructions again" when one of my returns required me to bring in my own box to ship it in instead of just dropping off. I may have misread what to do but he did not need to be so disrespectful. I ended up paying $8 to ship in one of their boxes which is not a big deal, especially if it was my mistake, but his rude behavior and terrible customer service was extremely unnecessary. I also work in a profession where I am overworked during this pandemic & I do not treat anyone the way this man treated me. read more

This review is for the UPS Store #2700 located at 7904 E Chaparral Rd in Scottsdale. Store manager Frank Whittaker called my wife today to tell her they lost my package while returning it to the seller. I bought a ski helmet that didn't fit, and immediately used this UPS store to return it the very next day in all of the original packaging. My wife watched them seal up the box and make it ready for return, paid the $15 for shipping and left the store. Frank called today to say the box wasn't sealed up correctly, and that the contents fell out in transit and are now lost. Keep in mind it was his employee who sealed the box for return. Oh, and that we were out of luck, he plans to do nothing to compensate us. He claims that we needed to ditch the perfectly good box used to ship the helmet to us, and buy a UPS box in order for them to take responsibility for losing my item. When we told him how ridiculous that was, he said tough luck, you can call the corporate office if you have a problem with that. So Frank is awesome, and clearly cares about his customer's and the reputation of UPS. Needless to say, we'll never use this location again, and I would highly recommend you don't either. There is a great location 2 miles south at Osborne and Hayden. Thanks for nothing Frank! read more

After the last time I used this store I'll never go back. The last time they got the recipient's name wrong, The time before they got the recipients address wrong and somehow gave me an incorrect tracking number. On my last visit the employee, Jordon, was rude, unhelpful and yawned throughout the entire transaction. I had just started a thriving eBay business and wanted to use them exclusively for daily shipping of large quantities because they are very close. I asked how I could estimate shipping charges and Jordon said she did not know, no further comment or help. I also asked about insurance coverage and buying shipping supplies from them and she could not help me with that either. Even the customer behind me made a comment as I walked out regarding how rude and unhelpful she was. I had thought they would fit in perfectly with my successful business so I was disappointed in their customer service which is basically non-existent. I am now shipping large quantities daily so I go to the store on Indian Bend and Hayden. I could schedule UPS pickups but I don't like leaving packages outside. This store might be good for small personal shipping or buying stamps but they definitely are not setup for business shipping or large quantity shipping. I would not trust them to do any shipping. I normally don't so Yelp reviews but they really irritated and disappointed me. I normally expect bad customer service, but they brought it to a new low. Whoever runs this property has had a talent for picking the most helpful and cheery people. - Efficient service with a human touch. My sister sent 4 cards to our family in Ca. 3 of the cards never arrived. The 4th card arrived was ripped open and taped up, she had sent a $100.00 bill repaying some money we loaned her. There was no money in the card. I contacted the store manager and said he had a pretty good idea who it was and would be calling me back. He did return my call and said there was nothing he could do because he had not proof. I told him that was fine but that i would be letting people know in a review to beware. Communication with customers is an area of opportunity for this USP. Most people do not know standard shipping processes and cost. They said they could print a pre-paid label from an email. AFTER PRINTING the woman told me it would be 3$. (3$ to print a single black and white piece of paper with a prepaid label on it.) If I was informed of the cost before printing I would have printed at home.They waived the charge, I was grateful. read more

My most recent trip I just needed a strip of tape to seal the deal, literally to seal the envelope! I was in-and-out the door in less than 2 minutes (pre-paid UPS postage)! You would think they would double check where they send packages before they send them out. I had sent a watch in to be repaired, but they had lost it. Then they called me back and said that they had found it and that it was on its way to the factory. So I call the factory and then they tell me that they were fixing it. Months later I call back that watch company and they have no record of it. I have no idea what happened, but they lost it. and I am out $110 watch. Never again will I come back. read more

BEWARE. The UPS Store is NOT UPS. This store refuses to pay a claim for a damaged package. They packed it, but did not note it on the receipt (their mistake) so it is their word against mine. I paid for insurance but they will not pay the claim. Not recommended. read more
