UPS made a mistake and delivered my package to ups instead of my house. I arrived and the woman tried to charge me $5 extra for their mistake. She was rude and condescending as if it was my fault. She finally goes "fine take it" without verifying my ID or last name or anything. Don't waste your time at this store, I will never be back. Bad customer service is not a good look UPS. read more

Extremely unhappy with my experience. Dropped a package off a week ago and it's lost, tracking shows it is still in store, while the staff lies and says they've already shipped it. The staff has been rude and unhelpful. They just say I'm confused and brought it to a different location, while my receipt has their address and phone number on it. And good luck speaking to a manager, I was informed it would be another 6 days before one is back in store, so you're stuck talking to these rude associates with no clue how to help. If you care about your package getting there, don't bring it here. These clowns are clueless. read more

I tried to return an Amazon package and had to go three times. The owner /manager(?) said they do not have WIFI when they have 2 WIFI routers, for the store and for the Guest! I brought that to his attention and he became very argumentative. saying their WIFI did not work - obviously a lie. If it was not working it would not be broadcasting as available. Then I scanned the QR code for Customer Service complaints on the billboard and he was not happy about that either. Lots of UPS options, pick another! read more

Drive to UPS store on Chaparral, or out of your way like I do to avoid this UPS store. In the last decade, the times it was "easier" to go there: they open late, the staff is unhelpful, there is always a line, and last time I went I was told I need to repackage an Amazon item that didn't need to be packaged - oh but he offered to sell me something to put it in (that's happened twice). read more

Just visited this location to drop off some Amazon returns and the two young guys behind the counter could not even help keep the front door open while I was struggling to get my newborn in a car seat and some packages inside. They just stood there and watched me struggle for several minutes. There was only one other person inside so they were not even busy. A nice older man walking by offered to hold the door open while I managed to get everything inside. While inside no help offered by these two associates and their attitude was like they did not want to be there at all. I didn't expect them to carry my packages but just opening the door would have been nice instead of the blank staring while I clearly had trouble. I'm used to friendly and respectful service by UPS and this was far from that. read more

Every time I come in to drop off packages, no matter how big or how small, the customer service and efficiency are off the charts. While vacationing in Scottsdale, I needed to send a fragile pottery item back home rather than risk breaking it on the plane. For a very reasonable fee (including insurance), the guys at this UPS store carefully wrapped the item in miles of bubble wrap, placed it in a box, and sent it on its way. The item arrived back home in perfect condition a few days after we returned from vacation. Great job! read more

It's hard to count on shipping excellence during the holiday season, so much can go wrong. I sent an expensive item to my daughter in OKC. This place is an excellent example of what customer service should be. I took my friend in there with me who was shipping some items back to Puerto Rico to her family. Her English isn't the greatest and the clerk (I believe his name was joe) was so patient and helpful with getting all of the information needed (which was an itemized list of all the items) and when he had to step aside to help another customer the woman that took over was equally as nice and patient. It's wonderful when you go somewhere and get to deal other excellent customer service reps and people who excel at their job. This place is definitely one of those places! read more

I had a bulky desktop computer that needed to be mailed and I had no boxes. I had heard they have over the top customer service so I went to their store. They told me they would take care of it, and I felt confident that they would do it right, so I gave them my business. I was very impressed with the photos they had put on canvas displayed in their store (you should see them!), some with beautiful special effects. We had two photos that were taken by a Vatican photographer, so they were the only copies we had of us with St. Pope John Paul II. They did some touch ups to make the image better than the photo, and worked with me to select the right background color that framed it. We are very happy with the results! What special gifts they are that we gave to our families. So if you need help packing something to ship, or have a precious photo you'd like to see on canvas, you can trust them to take care of your items, and do a great job. read more

Came here after being treated horribly at the post office. Not only was the service better, the guy who helped me was very friendly and helpful. I was in and out of there quickly and couldn't be happier with the service. I wish I would of caught he guy's name, but he had dark hair and was kinda slim. Great service. Terrible experience with this outlet. We were in this outlet a week ago to ship a used dress to my daughter in Canada. Value listed at $25. We were told the price was $53 to get it there by the following week, in time for a dance she was headed to with her boyfriend. We actually called my daughter from the UPS store in front of the UPS rep, and discussed whether or not it was worth paying to ship the dress. The UPS rep was very clear that shipping the dress was only of value to us if it was there within the week. He never once mentioned the word "customs" or that there could potentially be a delay. We decided to ship the dress, as she was traveling to visit her boyfriend and wasn't likely to have time to purchase a new dress and make any alterations needed. A week later, this dress is still in the U.S. UPS tracking shows that it didn't leave Phoenix until yesterday (a week after we dropped it off). Clearly my daughter has had to make other arrangements now so we don't need the dress delivered anymore. My wife had been in touch with Colombia, Joe's wife (the owner apparently), and she advised that we would get a refund as long as the dress wasn't delivered on time. Colombia and one of her employees reiterated that we'd get a refund if the dress wasn't delivered on time. So my wife called today (8 days after we dropped the dress off) to finalize the refund. We will now have to get the dress re-routed to CT as we don't live in Phoenix. Apparently the dress is in customs but that is somewhat irrelevant given: 1. We'd been told it would be there by this Friday - and no mention of potential delays. Clearly, if there was any mention of a potential delay we wouldn't have shipped it. Timing was tight as it was. 2. Colombia and another employee had already told my wife that we would be refunded as long as the dress wasn't delivered by Thursday this week. It hasn't - it's now gone as far as Illinois. A long way from Saskatchewan! So now Joe, the owner ("with over 20 years of experience" - according to him), calls us and says there will be no refund. This isn't our problem. He refers to this being outside of their control, "not unlike a thunderstorm". Joe - this isn't a weather issue. This is a training issue. Your employees shouldn't be advising a time sensitive package will be there if there is a reasonable possibility that it won't be. We wouldn't have shipped it, you wouldn't have taken our money. All we're asking for is what we were promised by your wife and co-owner: appropriate customer service and a refund. I appreciate your offer to call your regional manager, but have low expectations given the attitude you gave on the phone. Hanging up on a customer is not professional or indicative of someone with 20 years of customer service. I will follow up with all of the appropriate levels on this incident. It's not about the money, but clearly it is for you. read more

I wanted to give credit to this store for spending a good 30 to 40 minutes helping me reduce the size of box for a UPS ground shipment. Anyone who has shipped packages more than 70 linear inches probably knows that shaving just a few inches off could save $100. Now, this was going above and beyond to cut and shape a box to fit and keep the costs reasonable. All employees are always in good spirits and willing to do whatever is requested in the name of customer service. I believe this demonstrates good management and leadership. Small business ownership is difficult and typically one bad review can override a hundred good reviews. Please use logic and critical thinking when judging service. read more
