Unethical business practices yield ZERO STARS for UPS Store 3500. UPS stores advertise nationwide 'print services', yet this store's print center is impotent. The clerk resembling Zoolander stated they are unable to receive documents due to stringent filtering through their incoming email network and in order to gain access to your document, customers must PAY by the MINUTE to use a molasses-speed computer to access email for retrieval of the document. COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS, this is 2016 peeps. read more

HORRIBLE customer service. I am in disbelief. I walk in with my son to make copies on their machine. It instantly jams, I open it ad get my copies out and try 3 more times. Jams every time. A male associate walks by and says "oh, is it jamming again?" I respond "yes. I'm trying to make copies for work." He then just walks away! A female associate named Dawn then shows up about 5 minutes later. I tell her it's jamming and ask if they have another machine. She tells me to copy one at a time, face down. I told her I need 50 copies that are 5 pages each and have a very impatient 3 year old with me. She then grabs the copies and tries through the feeder, as if I was lying about them getting jammed. She tries not once, but 4 times and it jams EVERY TIME. She FINALLY takes the copies and says "I'll use our other one behind the desk." She grabs them and disappears. I wait in line, get to the front to pay. A guy named Caleb behind the desk asks what I need. I told him I needed to pay for my copies that Dawn took. He goes and grabs them. Rings me up, Dawn walks by and says "don't forget to charge her for staples." He said "I didn't know we did that." I said "I've never been charged for the copier to staple my copies" (I haven't! And I've been here numerous times!). So he charges me for the staples. I pay and say I've never been charged for them. She says "well we're charging you for them." Then Caleb says "it's .50 cents more, you'll survive." Literally said "YOU'LL SURVIVE"!!!! How rude and unprofessional is that?!!!!!!!!! I was so thrown back, all I could respond was "yeah, we'll see." I will NEVER come to any UPS store again and am beyond disappointed with how they treated me. It took everything in me to not give the copies back to them and walk out!!! I was in the store for 20 minutes to add to it!!!!! So unbelievable that these people even have a job with the way they treated me! Save your money and go somewhere where you'll be treated respectfully! read more

Just to let you know all the other bad reviews you are reading for this place is absolutely the truth. The Male and Female that work in here are pricks. I came in there to mail a envelope and they wanted me to send it ups at an expensive price. They do not like it when you request to use the USPS mailing system that they sell also because it is a lot less expensive than the ups pricing. I mailed it USPS and a month later it had not reached its mail to location in CA. The person it was going to called the store to inquire why he had not received it. He provided them the tracking number and they told him we will check it out and get back to him. They never did. So weeks later I went in there personally with the receipt and asked them to look in the computer and see if they could see the status of the package. They refused to do so and told me that my problem was with the Fountain Hills post office. I kept asking them to please check the tracking number so we can see where its at. They continually told me to go to Fountain Hills post office. Both were very nasty. When I told them if they didn't help me this matter might have to be resolved in a court of law they became almost violent and refused to talk to me. Subsequently I went to the Fountain Hills post office and met with the post master. He checked the tracking number in their computer and said it had never been picked by them at this UPS store. He stated that any time they pickup they immediately scan the item and it shows they took possession of it. He stated that the computer shows the UPS store scanned the document and put a label on it at 11:30 pm. How could that be because they are not open that late at night. Mysteriously the package showed up a month later. I believe the employees were retaliating against me because I didn't pay the high UPS fee. Also it seems their UPS fees are higher than other UPS store fees. I believe they either lost the package somewhere in the store or purposely hid it and didn't send it as a form of retaliation. Additionally one day recently I was talking to a UPS driver by my residence and I asked him if he serviced the UPS store next to the Albertsons. He stated that once and awhile he has to fill in and go there and pick up packages. He stated that one time he went there the male and female were arguing with a customer and being very nasty to him. The customer had brought in a box to mail with a home depot label on it. The male and female were adamant that he buy a new box from them and ship his item in their box. The UPS driver told them that the box it was in was fine and he would take it that way. They refused to listen to him and the customer subsequently stormed out of the store. As you can see there are numerous examples of how terrible the customer service is at this location. I am asking everyone who is reading the reviews on this location to not do business with these people. There are many other UPS locations in the area and they are much nicer. I even asked for the name and phone number of the owner so I could ask for their help in tracking my package and they refused to give me the contact phone number. This owner and the employees are giving a bad name to both UPS and USPS. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE IF YOU WANT TO MAKE SURE YOUR PACKAGE WILL REACH ITS DESTINATION. read more

Yes, I am a Fan! I just Love the Customer Service there! Great People! Hubby and I have mailed several packages from there and some of the packages were HEAVY. Always got there on time and to the correct address! They even re-packaged something for me, that I was unsure about. DO NOT RENT A PO BOX FROM THIS LADY!!!!! She is the rudest person. I have had numerous rude run ins with her. Zero customer service. I've let it slide until today. She was yelling at me across the store in front of other customers. I was told the Mail would always be out by 1 when we rented the box. I drove all the way over there from chandler and it wasn't out. When I asked an employee I was told "when I get around to it" when asked when it would be out. I decided to discuss with the owner who ended up yelling at me. The store is busy and she is very under-staffed. So mail only gets up when they aren't busy. The rent on the boxes is very expensive for it to not be a priority. I guess we pay box rent for her to run her store not deliver our mail. A simple "I'm sorry, what box are you? Can I give you a call when it's out? Anything would've been greatly appreciated but once again she is so rude, interrupted me, yelled, and never offered any customer service. Don't rent from her! Once I was in there and I customer with a dog was in before me and the dog pooped in the floor and I stepped in it. When I asked her if she could help me she started yelling and cussing about the customer bringing her dog in. She grabbed my leather shoe and ran it under water then handed it back toe dripping wet. I respectfully disagree with all of the other yelpers' experiences at this UPS location... I have always had excellent service here. I normally mail packages back with pre-paid labels... never a problem, and they always ask if I want the receipt (and I do). Service with a smile, every time. I also have used them to mail USPS items, and realize it will be an uncharge (they explained that to me). For convenience sake, I have mailed my tax forms from this location (if I don't have time to drive to the USPS locations a few miles away). I accept the higher charges, for the convenience. Today, I discovered another feature of this store... they have printing services. I had driven to the Staples near the 101 and FLW, and experienced poor service and was told my 33 color copies would cost me around $40, and I'd have to wait "a while" for them. Back to the local UPS store. I had my hard copy with me and the girl (Kashmere?) was nice enough to copy a sample page for me to show what it would look like from a photocopy. She convinced me that it would be worth it to go home and email the store my .pdf. I did so, and after a relaxing cup of tea at home, I received an email saying that my copies were ready for pick up. I went in, and she had so very helpfully cut my pages in half (I hadn't asked, but it was clear that the sheets I had sent in were 8.5 by 11 that I needed to halve). This saved me so much time, as my paper cutter at home is terrible. What terrific service. AND... the best part was that the prints only came to $18. I would recommend this location to anyone needing print services (on a smaller scale) and shipping. read more

I had been a customer for over 3 years at this UPS Store Location. Customer in terms of holding a PMB (post Mail box) and shopping for odds and ends for shipping supplies. After all my patronage I was late on a payment 1 week (because I was out of town) the owner charged me a late penalty fee. Kept saying she has lots of customers and that she cant help me. So I am taking my business elsewhere. Keep your customers but not this one... read more

This UPS store has always gone above and beyond the call of duty to help me with copies, mail, special packaging, overnight rushes. They stayed open later than closing to help on one occasion. They have the cutest cards and will let me know when they go on sale. I wont go to another mail store. It might be a little pricier than going direct to post office or ups main location, but the care and concern is worth it. Plus the cost of my time, gas , etc makes it worth it. They stand behind everything they do, and will give you several options for cost savings. read more

I rented a mailbox from this merchant and paid the full amount in advance. I was traveling out of the country and was not able to collect my mail on time or renew my box. When I went to collect my mail a week after my rental period I was dismayed to find that not only had my box been rented out but all my mail had been sent back. That's pretty harsh treatment for a client that had paid in advance. My advice STAY AWAY from this business and rent from the postal service. At least they have to be accountable and honest. read more

Living right around the corner. I was excited to be close to a UPS store . Well my first experience from the dark haired young man was he couldn't take me 3 minutes before closing. I needed to mail one thing. The last and final attempt to use this store was a one page document needed to be printed. I had to put my credit card on there computer system that works slower then my first computer. After spending 20 minutes trying to get this document printed and something was now wrong with the system they printed it from there email and refunded my card. So all the attempts to print was a complete waste of time and could of have been done in 1 minute. Clearly you are in a well established neighborhood and love locals. You really should maximize on the courteous approach to your local business users. I personally won't be back to sample change I learned my lesson after 2 times. I will drive to spend my dollars else where. read more

They operate a "service" business so your experience will depend heavily on who is working. I walked in the Saturday before Christmas and they had one poor guy working. He was busting his butt and had a great attitude. Kudos to him. Shame on management for not giving him help on one of the busiest shipping days of the year. read more

I've been going to this store for 5 years now, the staff and service is always excellent! In particular Scott provides some of the best customer service skill I've ever experienced for any type of business for any industry bar none! He is best in class: prompt, over the top courteous, bright and friendly (greets every single person who comes into the store regardless of how busy it is and usually by their 1st name). In fact, if I had a sales position open in AZ I'd hire him in a minute. The rest of the staff is also very good, but Scott has set the bar extremely high - so whomever the owner of this store is hopefully paying him as much as they possibly can - he does the job of 2-3 people and if there was a customer loyalty/retention metric for measuring how many customers go to this store and stay with this store because of him he'd probably be off the charts! This is not a fake review - all the owner has to do is ask Scott about the customer that mails to the same address - 2 day mail - "Attn: Nikita". I spend over $1k/year at this store for what it's worth to the owner. read more

So yes the old owner was horrible. I came here from CA and I didn't realize how pricey this compared to most PMB's in the area. Now the new owner has instituted new package pick up policies. You have three days to pick up a package or you will be charged. I specifically rented the box because I work long hours and don't want packages sitting outside my house getting warm. With my standard box, I now can receive 10 packages or be charged. So if I order something and the shipper breaks it up, I will incur charges. There is a long list of new charges and when I asked about the night pick up box so they can leave a key and I could pick up items daily, I was told this isn't an option and that the old owner should have never told me that would ever happen. I have had 7 ups store boxes before and they all had them so I think not. I am currently researching other options and will keep you updated. read more
