Great place, ive had a box from them for 18 yrs now. They call every year for payment. It has been a great business address.

Even though this location is most convenient for me, I was avoiding it due to the many bad reviews. I finally decided to stop in a few months ago, and I have had zero issues with my 5+ visits since. I drop off my outgoing UPS packages, taped up and labeled, and I receive a receipt every time. I always reuse packaging and mailers, and I haven't had any issues with my non-UPS boxes or bubble bags. Refused to accept my outgoing parcels because they were wrapped in FedEx shipping supplies...UPS shipping label already attached. It shouldn't matter what the outside of the package looks like. I had to find a UPS drop-box nearby to complete my shipments. read more

You know I am all about people's candid and non-biased review and a lot of times follow them but I am absolutely stumped and I mean completely baffled how this store only has two and a half Stars. I just experienced some of the very best of the best customer service at that store I want to take a moment to recognize and associate by the name of Jim who went above and beyond and really made my experience in the store worth coming back for. The shipper told my sender that he needed to send a package overnight because they were food items, even though they were shelf stable. He said he warned my friend that this would be expensive and told me my friend said it didn't matter because it was being covered by "corporate". The clerk lied, my friend did NOT say this, there is no "corporate". $250 later and my friend then left the items with the shipper. As the store shipper told me over the phone, he had to smash the items down into the box so they would fit, even though he knew they were pastry items. He laughed and said I should have known better than to send pastry from Le Panier through UPS, that broken items were not covered by the store, even if they are broken by the store clerk in the store making it fit into the box. He laughed a lot, said his name was Bryan Bae and he was the owner and he only ever covers lost items and anyone shipping with him should expect that their packages could be broken and not covered, even if they paid $250. Bubble wrap could have prevented this. He agreed, but he said that would have needed a bigger box, which he never mentioned to my friend. He just proceeded to flatten the contents to make it fit. All of this is by his own admission. Laughing while saying this is what should be expected when shipping with this location and UPS overall. So beware, if you have something valuable or important, don't ship it with this location. read more

Not sure what the cause of all the negative reviews is. The one guy who helped me kindly clarified a very daunting international shipping. And, as I'd waited in line, I saw him do the previous customer a true act of kindness and generosity. I'll always consider this my priority UPS shop to visit on force of that experience alone. read more

When I was in a time crunch today to get some work done, they were quick and efficient! I was able to both get an important set of documents faxed off, and another set of important documents notarized, under 30 minutes. They were also extremely pleasant during the whole visit, and even talked to me a little about what Notary Life is like. What I respected most is that, when he had to confirm my face for the ID, we both stepped back so that we were more than 6 feet apart, and then I was able to remove my mask for the ID verification. Most places probably wouldn't go to that level of detail, nor care. I appreciated it. read more

I dropped off an Amazon return package - a video game not in an Amazon box per Amazon's directions. The younger Asian guy took it. He scanned my phone but never scanned the package. Stupidly, I did not get a return receipt. Package is gone and was never shipped back to Amazon. Who knows where it is. I'm out $60 with no proof of return - my fault. But their fault for not doing their job - if not something more intentional beyond incompetence. Always get a Amazon receipt for return. Brian is rude. I called twice to ask if my drivers license had been found there (because they check ID's to ship and I may have left it) and he immediately became agitated with me and asked me "why would I leave it there?" Instead of checking. He wouldn't have even had time to look because he said no so quickly. I even asked him if he checked and he cut me off saying it's not here. I called back and asked who his manager was and he put me on hold to listen to him input an address in for a customer. Extremely unprofessional, and from the looks of it other people have issues with him too. There are many people who would be grateful to have a job, yet they keep him there. Unacceptable . read more

Do not waste your time here. The old asian guy rejected my package because it's a usps box even though i have paid for the label and taped iver the bar code. I have not had this happened anywhere else with ups. I have sent one before at this location but it was a different staff. read more

This was by far the worst experience I've had at a UPS location. The older Asian man was rude and unhelpful, and it felt like he couldn't be bothered to help me understand where my package was. I called in the next day after I was told that it was still at the UPS access point and same man snapped at me and told me I came in too early and that it arrived an hour after I left... even though I had notifications from UPS that it was there when I showed up yesterday. I think customer service training for this man would be well worth it. I will NEVER GO BACK THERE. read more

Great customer service. Staff is friendly and helpful. I came in on Saturday to drop off a package and was greeted by "Christa" She was fast and even helped navigate my phone to pull up my Amazon return. Even with a line out the door was getting us in and out. I will definitely be coming back. read more

They take your package, that is it. Bring your own tape- unless you want to pay for it. There are better locations but this is convenient on a work day- the only reason I go here. read more

I refer to store #4884 on Stewart Street just off 7th downtown Seattle. the service is incredibly awful. they are a "franchise" store and nothing works right. The online print service doesn't work, the email apparently doesn't work and they don't answer the phone or have the option of leaving a message. When I called the "real" UPS to complain, they explained that it was a franchise and basically washed their hands of it. I am thinking all UPS stores with print shops are franchises, as the UPS customer service rep didn't even ask what store I was referring to--the printing issue seemed to be his clue it was a franchise. anyhow they basically charged me a bit over double for doing my printing because their online service didn't work and I had to email my file to them to print (which also didn't work but fortunately I had my phone with me when I went to supposedly pick up my order and the email I had sent them earlier was on it) The were beyond rude when I made a special trip to the store to call them on the overcharge (remember, they don't answer their phone) and refused to credit me for the overcharge of nearly $20. i think it's new ownership and I predict they won't last long. Don't use this business if you don't relish abuse. read more

I come in and the manager did not say hello or how's your day going. He basically charged me for the tape and had me tape up my box and put on the stupid label as well which is difficult to do. I have taken my Amazon packages to other US store and they just do everything for me and don't even charge me for tapping it up. I recommend not going here. This is a small UPS store in the Bank of America building. When you walk in for them 5th avenue entrance you take a right and go down the stairs. First business on your right. I think this is a new UPS store because the only listing of this store was on their website. I walked in at 10:30am the week before Christmas and didn't have to wait at all. The women who helped me was very friendly and got my package away to be shipped with in minutes! Perfect stop for downtown weekday shipping! read more

I brought two packages there that needed a small piece of clear tape to seal the edges. I asked the cashier if I could use a small inch strip. She tore the piece of tape for me and said she had to charge me $1.00. What the heck!!??? It's not like I was asking for an envelope. I was frequenting their business with two packages and needed a small strip of tape. You would think she would at least ask me if I wanted to pay for it first rather than assuming I would. I ended up taking my packages elsewhere. It's the principle that counts. read more

Ask for Jeffery T. he is very personable, courteous and friendly. He greeted me from the get go, smiled and carried on a conversation throughout our interaction. Instead of sending me back to my worksite to re-box the materials I was sending, he gave me options that made it possible to get my shipment out and not having to return to the office and coming back. All at no additional cost. He is how customer service should work these days, refreshing. read more

I asked if I could send a package overnight and the man assured me I could. I then stated that I also needed to have a tracking number. I paid $6.60, left and thought, "that was very inexpensive". I went back to confirm he had sent the letter overnight. He looked confused and told me that he had sent it regular delivery and overnight would be $39.50. I paid for 2 day shipping ($29.50) and received the confirmation number. A few days later I checked the status and saw that it had been sent to a completely wrong address, the zip code was even wrong. I don't know how this is possible because I handed a label with the address printed on it. I stopped by the office and explained he had sent it to the wrong address. He accused me of providing the wrong address and then said it would take a few days longer to get there, he also stated I would not receive a refund. I waited a few hours and called UPS myself, he had not provided them with the updated address yet. This was an extremely important letter, thus the 2 day delivery and tracking number. The most annoying part of the process was that he didn't even apologize. I will never go back! read more
