This review is about several experiences at this location. It is always difficult to deal with the the store. every time there has been difficulty, it is with the location owner herself If a box has any damage she will not take it or want to charge you to tape it or sell you a new box. I have been dealing with the Pasadena store and they are so much easier to deal with it is worth a little extra drive for the ease of dealing. read more

This store has now failed me on 2 occasions. I sent an important check that was never even sent out after I paid a $20 priority mail fee. I also returned an amazon package and never received credit back from amazon because they didn't receive my package. Truly unacceptable that this has happened on 2 separate occasions within a month of each other. Will not be returning. read more

Okay, no one is saying it so I'm going to say it. I loathe going here. In my two years in the area I've had to go there twice. The mark up on items is absolutely insane (the last visit I left to go grab a box from home because they were charging me more than the gift I was shipping was worth). Today I came in for two books of stamps-- $13.50 instead of $11 at literally any other store, so I paid an extra $5. I also had to print a shipping label to return an item-- label was sent to me, but my printer was acting funny, so I assumed that I could print onsite. The associate offer to let me email the label to her so she could print it for $3. $3 for her to literally click 'print.' I assumed I might pay $.25 for a sheet of paper or something, but $3?? There is another option where you can print from a computer that looks to be from 1999. I opted to go that route because it was $1 min. charge to your credit card (which is required) which should cover the printing charges which were varied based on the pages you're printing). Upon using the computer I found that due to some error I continuously have a pop up stating that I'm not able to visit that site, except it was with every site including the pre-populated ones. Eventually if you click "okay" enough the error goes away. I eventually click print for my form and wait-- nothing. I start putting my $27 worth of stamps on my envelopes waiting for an associate to come around so I could ask where my label may have printed to. After a few minutes the associate gets off the phone and said "you should log out if you're done-- you're being charged by the minute." I explained I was waiting for my label to print and he walks around a corner (out of sight from the computer) to a printer and picks up my label. I log out and ask if they can adjust the several dollar charge because of the error that delayed my printing and because I was obviously waiting for the sheet to print and after asking if I was doing any more business with them today they said "no, sorry." It's a few dollars, but the overall awful customer service and outrageous up charges just aren't worth the annoyance. read more

Beware! If you plan to ship a package through the UPS Store in Severna Park and plan to add extra insurance. This store does not charge the standard UPS $1.30 per $100 declared as posted on the UPS website. I recently shipped a package and was charged MORE THAN TWICE the insurance rate posted on the UPS website. When I asked about the overcharge, both UPS and the store told me that franchise stores were free to set their own insurance rates. Instead of being charged $163.80, I was charged $348.35 to add shipping insurance. read more

They never open on time. It's a chronic problem. Change your posted hours if you can't open on time. So annoying.

This location has better business hours than most banks or the post office, typically opening at 10am and closing by 3lm, which is absolutely ridiculous. This basically transfers to using UPS or the post office by default. What a absurd way to run a shopping business! read more

It was great until they moved to the new location. I went there to drop off an Amazon item, it was my fault that I didn't realize I would need to put it into a box but the employee instead of kindly advising me that I would need to the item into a box in order to ship. Instead, once the employee saw the item, she started questioning me with an attitude about how was the package sent to me then she said "I don't believe it was sent like this" attitude then she scanned my code once s she said, "I'm not able to send it in like this" still with an attitude. December 15. Pulled into 15 parking spot at 6:55 pm with UPS associate locking the door. I stood at the door and to her credit she came to the door to tell they were closed. I said its not 7. She replies that it was 'only a few minutes before 7 and the drawers were already closed anyway' So...really closed earlier than 6:55 pm. Just very frustrating. read more

I have used the UPS store in Severna Park several times, they have always been professional and I have never had any issues. Today I received time sensitive paperework and needed to make several copies and send it overnight. Since I received the paperwork late, probably due to the pandemic most likely, and needed it to go off quickly. I arrived at the store at 6:46pm, they close at 7pm. Cheyenne and Danielle were extremely helpful, and professional. I felt really bad that I came in 10 min before closing, but they went out of their way to make me feel better. Worst shipping experience I've ever had. I went in Tuesday to send a Mother's Day gift to my grandma (this may very well be her last Mother's Day). I paid $31 for the 2lb package to arrive on Friday, apparently the young girl who shipped the package was new and it was her first time shipping a package. On Friday, the package never arrived. I checked the tracking and not only was the package never picked up until 10pm Wednesday night, but it said it was scheduled for re-delivery Monday!! I went back to the store to find out why my package sat for more than a day at the store before being sent out and why I was ensured it would arrive on Friday. I stood in line (a line of 7 customers) while on young man worked the front desk, hacking coughing and sounded like he needed to be in a hospital. Not only was it disgusting and unprofessional to have a severely ill employee working the counter but a health hazard as well. I asked if a supervisor was available and he said no. Finally another young woman came out and helped at the counter. She was unable to locate my package and told me to check tracking later that evening. As of today, Saturday, my Mother's Day gift for my grandma is nowhere to be found. It will not arrive for her Mother's Day brunch tomorrow. I am heart broken. And I will NEVER do business with UPS again, nor will I go back to a store who has sick teenagers working the counter who have zero customer service and knowledge of what they are doing. read more
