IF YOU'RE READING THIS AND THINKING OF USING THEM, THINK TWICE AND DON'T!!! I'm done with this store! Never using UPS again. I will conduct my business with USPS from here on out. Shipped something and they said would get there within 7 days. 7 days passed and my friend had not received her package yet. Looked into the status and for some reason got sent to the designated state for delivery but ended up getting ship back to where it originally started. Very frustrating. Took close to 2 weeks for the package to finally get there. After the package got to it location, I called customer service about refunding my shipping cost. They told me they don't deal with that or issue anything out on their end for the refund. Then proceed to tell me that the store I shipped from would issue my refund. So I go up to the store to discuss my refund and guess what they tell me "oh we don't issue refunds the company will be mailing you a check in 4 weeks." Ok great! 2 months later and I still haven't received my refund, so go up to the store spoke to the manager. He says he would deal with it but just to know that since it's been so long that I may not get my refund now. Wth!!! And he goes to say that they don't give out refunds that it's corporate that does that. Hmmm funny that's not what corporate told me. So I left the store called customer service to see what's up with this refund. I spoke to one gentleman and says yes you are right to your refund and then sends me to an automated line to get my refund started. Well the automated service wasn't picking up my tracking number, so I get routed to an actual person who goes off telling me that there is nothing they can do on they're end and from here it's the stores problem. Seriously WTF!!! I've been jumping thru hoops with this damn company to get my refund and things are still not resolved. I'm just more annoyed & frustrated. The stores and corporate need to be on the same page about things and not saying one thing and only to find out it's not try true. That's not customer service. read more

Update: After working with the store manager and district manager, I was compensated for the contents of the package. I am impressed and grateful that they rectified their mistake. This is how customers should be treated when things, inevitably, happen. Thank you! I dropped 4 packages off for USPS pickup on July 24. 3/4 were scanned and delivered as they should have been, the 4th disappeared before it got to the post office. When I called the UPS store, they told me it wasn't their responsibility, yet they had possession of the package. My only explanation, as they say they've searched the store, is that an employee stole it. I've given them ample opportunities to make it right on their own. Time to make it right and pay for its contents. read more

Damian and other staff are superstars. They are always considerate and helpful. They try to find the best shipping method for your package. I primarily use them for faxing. They are always considerate in helping me get documents faxed to a routinely BUSY fax number. read more

Walked in at 3:45 on a Sunday, needed to ask a few questions about flat rate shipping, there was a woman waiting in the lobby, no employees in sight. We waited for about 10 min, during which time another gentleman walked in with a package. We could all hear an employee in the back on the phone. She popped out from the back to let us all know " if you have drop-offs leave them on the scale, and walked back into the office to continue her phone call. So I guess I'll try a different location on Monday. Zero customer service, I understand it's a Sunday and that they were closing soon but sheesh, no acknowledgement of customers other than " leave it on the counter". read more

UPS carrier (I think his name is Brian/Byan) refuses to comply with the UPS customer service agreement. The carrier refuses to deliver packages to your accessible front door and defaults to a 3rd party fee based locker service for your packages!  These lockers are an OPTION for residents, and is not mandated by the carrier.  I have been battling this since move into this place. I have an account profile with UPS and the customer service person who help me, assured me that my packages can/will be delivered to my door. The UPS customer service person also took the time to add an internal note on my account stating 'door delivery', and and the carrier still dumps my packages in a common area where anyone on the property with access can get to them. I am not signed up with this 3rd party fee based locker service and I will not sign up for this service. It is an option to the resident and not mandatory default option for the carrier. If you have physical limits, this is not an option, it is a burden!  Your packages are either held hostage or left unsecure. This driver is not above returning your packages to the sender if his only other option is to deliver to door . UPS offers delivery to accessible front door, and his behavior is not okay. read more

I'm giving this store two stars due to the issues I had, not only with UPS in general, but also with this store. I had a packaged overnighted to me, but the deliver driver would not leave it at the door. Long story short, I ended up having the package sent to a store. At this point, the package was three days late and I just wanted to pick it up so I could be done with the whole thing. When I went to the store, the associate (who was admittedly very nice) told me it would be a charge to pick up my package. When I rerouted my package the UPS website had said it would be free to pick it up, so I asked her why I had to pay. She said she didn't know but that I could not pick up my package without paying. Mind you, there was literally a sticker with the package that said DO NOT CHARGE THE CUSTOMER. I didn't have time to argue, so I paid the charge so I could take my package. Moral of the story, use USPS if at all possible. I'm avoiding UPS from now on. read more

My daughter shipped a package to me from this store and the clerk, Amanda tried to sell her a box to ship the items in. She already had a box and just needed one piece of tape to close the package. The package hasn't arrived here yet and the store has closed the claim twice saying a variety of reasons that they needed to close the claim. In other words, she is still getting the run around. She will never go back there again. The clerk has refused to give the name of the manager or owner of the franchise so she can get this claim paid. Certainly seems something funny is going on since the items were insured and disappeared! read more

Terrible customer service. Kept telling me that since they are a private store and not associated with UPS that they can't accept the package that a driver left at my house. Told me it's now my problem and I have to drive it to the Hub in Bremerton. Worst service ever. read more

This store has the best customer service. We have our mailbox here as we travel often. No matter where we are, we call and they forward out mail after throwing away junk mail. We have had a mailbox at this location for over 12 years. read more

SILVERDALE UPS STORE MADE A MISTAKE...I HAVE TO PAY FOR IT! I tried shipping a birthday package from the Silverdale UPS store to another UPS store for my son to pick up. I was informed after they called the other store that my son would have to pay $10-$20 to pick up his package in addition to the $26 I paid to ship it. I wasn't thrilled about that but I understand the other store needs to make money. I called my son 5 days after it arrived to see if he got the package, no. I get an email saying the store rejected the package and sent it back. My son gets a phone call from Silverdale explaining that the receiving store needed the tracking number before accepting packages and that they would take care of it on their end. Fourteen days later still no package. I go to the Silverdale store to find out what's up. They tell me they can't find the package. I ask to file a claim, they tell me to wait a couple of days to "see if it shows up". I call the next morning and they have it in Silverdale. I drive to the store again and they explained that the other UPS store has a different policy than they do and it was their fault the package was returned. At this point the package had been sitting in Silverdale for five days with no call or email. They never tried to ship it back like they told my son they would do. I asked for a refund and I was denied because they said it wasn't their fault the other store didn't tell them their policy so I took my package home thinking about writing this review. I decided to give them another chance to make the situation right and called the store to speak to a manager. She told me that they were working with the other store to get a label to ship the package back and would call me later. Later she called back to tell me the other store wouldn't cover shipping but they would waive the pick-up fee and the Silverdale store would give me a 5% ($1.33) discount on shipping as an apology--meaning it would cost $51 to ship. I don't think I am being unreasonable expecting them to either refund my money or re-ship the package at no charge. I am not willing to throw good money after bad so I will pay another company to ship this package again. I never received an apology from the three different employees I had contact with after they messed up this shipment. The customer service at this store was appalling! read more

When I moved from Bremerton WA to Boise Idaho recently I mailed approx. 15 boxes at UPS of personal belongings. I was dreading the experience. I was so pleasantly surprised at how efficient this UPS Store was at processing my boxes. They all arrived at my destination in great shape. I read some of the reviews here (the negative ones) and most are spot on other than the box holders receiving better customer service. This is beyond false. I have been a box holder for many years and I have always felt that I am a nuisance when picking up my mail. They have a few good employees (usually the newer ones) that understand customer service. Crystal is very knowledgeble with the company and their procedures but she needs to go back to school and take a course on customer service. They act righteous in that they are doing us a service by taking care of our needs, when it is us who are supporting their establishment by bringing them business! I need this type of service. If I didn't, I would have stopped going there years ago! I have currentley learned that you can have the same service at the post office using their pyhsical address and your box number so that it is not recognized as a post office box. read more

Even thou we couldn't get there until minutes before the deadline, Carmen expedited everything to get it out the door on time and delivered in Penna the next morning. Kudos! read more

My family has been using the Silverdale WA UPS Store for over 5 years. When we are in town, we visit them everyday; and even though we have a keyed box, we prefer to pick up our mail from the personnel. They are warmly welcoming, professional, and make each patron feel like the most important person on the world. We have utilized all their services to include mailing, receiving, faxing, copying, packing, tracking, and sales. When sending items, they take the time to have every package address mailing details double checked by the patron to insure no errors are evident prior to sending the items. We travel often; and the Managers are very attentive to our needs, by collecting all our incoming packages and mail and storing, and forwarding the items to us along our routing at our request. These folks are precise and detailed, and treat our mail and packages with care as if these items were their own. We are impressed by this Silverdale Store, strongly recommend their services, and welcome them as professional community friends. read more

Worst customer service. They measured the box that I sent out wrong. It ended up costing me about $100 extra and they did nothing about it. The Manager was rude. This is a standard size box that my dad has mailed all over the country and it was more than double of what he has ever paid and the box was empty! The manager told me she did "extensive" video research and to make sure her employees measured it correctly. Well they must not know how to read numbers because they were three inched off on the height at width of the item. If I could give a zero I would. read more

This place is so convenient. It's so much easier and nicer than going to the post office and it's so much more reliable than FedEx. The staff always packs my items with care.
