To assist a family member across the sound with specific office supply requests, it was great to find this convenient location in Silverdale (5/28/26). Well labeled aisles, well stocked display areas that also provided various selections at reasonable prices. One stop and I was able to purchase everything requested. Customer service was prompt and efficient. I also signed up for their frequent buyers program and received a $10 discount off a future $40+ purchase. Thankfully, there are other Staples locations to redeem this at. But in my case, it'll be a return visit in Silverdale or the Bothell site. read more

I had been having trouble with my laptop computer. Called STAPLES tech support and was able to bring in my laptop for a checkup, some updating, and cleanup. I felt the price was appropriate, the service exceptional, and the people willing and able to work with me. I worked with three different team members and each one proved themselves worthy of my visit. I am home now and everything seems to be working great. I went to Staples to return a package from the Gap. I had to choose which Staples I was going to return the package to and was provided a scan code. When I went in I was told that they no longer ship. I needed to go to Port Orchard which is a 40 minute drive. Poorest customer service ever. Ridiculous Staples. Shame on you. I will never go back to your store. read more

We've been shopping this store more often since we've been shopping at JC Penney more often. This last time they had an associate standing just inside the store entrance as a greeter. Very friendly guy and right away he asked if we needed help finding anything. Not all Staples stores have a greeter so this shows that this store manager is concerned about great customer service, including welcoming customers into his store. During the visit prior to this one we asked an associate if some items were in stock since there weren't enough on the floor. He went the extra mile and checked his mobile device to confirm on the spot there were none in stock. We've had uniformly extremely friendly and efficient cashiers here. The one thing that keeps my rating from being 5 stars is that store associates on the floor don't volunteer to help a customer find something if it's obvious they're hunting for something in the aisles. In that same prior visit, I had at least one associate look at me while I was searching for something (that I eventually found) and then continue to chat with a colleague nearby. The store manager has to fix this. The main thing where this store merits a 4-star rating is the quality and friendliness of the cashiers. read more

Jennifer at the copy center is a gem. She helped me copy about 150 old historic photos and the machine had some issues so she did the whole project over for me herself and mailed the copies to me in New Hampshire. Thank you so much Jenn. read more

July 31, 2019, I went to staples to buy a toner cartridge for my Brother's printer. I found staff there very helpful both in finding the product and getting me copier paper at the best price. Got home and my printer kept tell me I had no toner. Went back into Staples the next morning. Turns out I had turned in the .printer drum as a part of the printer cartridge in error. Thankfully, they new right away what I had done and found the drum. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! read more

Staples motto, "Well that was easy," is not the first phrase that comes to mind when I use the self-service copy center at this Staples. There always seems to be something wrong with the copiers - out of paper, jammed paper, charging me for blank prints. It's always a bit of a nightmare when I make copies here (which I have to do once a month for meeting programs). I will say that the customer service here is quite good and the copy center staff has always been willing to help when I've had issues. They have even refunded wonky prints when requested. The store is generally clean and well stocked, so overall my rating is a solid 4 stars, but only 1 star for the self-serve copies. read more

I went to Silverdale Staples to fax a few sheets. They needed a credit card to charge $5.00 to get started. The screen said the $5.00 charge would be adjusted if the sale was less. So I faxed 3 sheets, without any assistance, and again was charged $6.51. I thought this was the TOTAL charge. NOPE. Staples charged me $11.51 for 3 sheets with a toll free number. A couple more trips like that and I can buy a printer/Fax machine. But, I won't be back; and I won't buy any printer fax machine from them. read more

Solid 4 stars. Everything was good and as expected but I bought ink replacement cartridges for my printer and they were quite high in price. I have got them in the past from Office Depoe and they were about $20 less for a store brand name. The biggest thing I don't like is being greeted at the door with them trying to sell something such as a store credit card or rewards card. I would rather be greeted at the door with someone who can point me in the right direction so I can get what I want and get out. Oh, by the way, the ink cartridges are not with the office supplies, but by the printers. It kind of makes sense but then shouldn't they also sell pens, pencils and paper next to the desk and chairs? It just seems like office supplies should be in one area while furniture and equipment should be in another. It would be easier to find things. Checkout was good and the gal was very nice and fast. Cute too if that counts for anything. Please get rid of the person by the door selling credit/reward cards! read more

I absolutely despise that this is the only office supply store in Silverdale. I am NEVER offered assistance when I shop here, despite that there are usually 4-5 employees manning the copy center that can see me wandering around frustrated and confused. I shopped here today and had the same dreadful experience, purchased the wrong item (because there wasn't a single associate on the sales floor) and had to wait forever in line to check out. The ONLY reason checkout took so long was because there was one lady on register dealing with a return, and I wasn't offered assistance until the "MOD" (Jennifer) was called over to help the associate. Jennifer then proceeded to walk me to the copy center to check out, without apology for the outrageous long wait- this was probably because she was too busy asking another employee on her head set for snacks and beverages. During check out her and another copy center employee proceeded to talk about how great her snack choices sounded and never asked me if I found everything okay, thanks guys! Customers should ALWAYS come first! I always go out of my way and drive to Office Depot in Poulsbo to avoid the outrageous joke of a shopping experience at this Staples location. I will continue to do so. read more

How do they stay in business?! Everything is always crazy expensive! I ALWAYS price check against Amazon.com and get Amazon's price in store - if I can't I wait 2 days to get the product from Amazon sometimes 1/4 of the price Staples is asking! Just outrageous. read more

Great store if you need standard stuff, but be careful if you need a special order. Went to get a signature stamp the other day and it took over an hour. The help was distracted with many customers and was not able to efficiently help any of them, equipment was jamming and they were taking phone calls. A frustrating visit. read more
