So I normally have quick service here in and out. They've always been professional and courteous enough. Today was different, though. There was a line, but that wasn't even the thing that was odd to me.... I had a box to return to Amazon. The guy in there was calling out, "I'll take the next Amazon return or prepaid labels," which makes sense since it was cutting down the line. He would scan their codes or label, ask if they needed anything else, and sent them on their way. He did this for several people in the line who would step out until it got to me.... Then he took a person who was waiting before me for regular service and when it looked like he wouldn't be able to assist because or that someone else was already assisting then he looked up and asked for the next Amazon return or prepaid label. I go up with my box. Now, for reference, my box was from Amazon and was NEVER opened. Still with original Amazon orange tape, etc. When I go up, he scans my QR code and then proceeds to open the box... I didn't see this done with any other person who was taken ahead of me. So I asked him did you open up anyone else's box, and he didn't answer. He continued pulling the items out. Perhaps he didn't hear me. I asked again, "Is there a reason you opened the never opened box? Did you open anyone else's? " He responded with a surprised look, and "Oh, it's so we can consolidate when we send it back to Amazon." Was the surprised look because I was questioning him or because he didn't know why I asked, I wouldn't know. So I said okay. He gave me my receipt and I told him to have a nice day and left. I guess the interaction is up for interpretation, but For me that was an interesting experience and the reason for my giving a neutral rating of 3 stars. read more

I been here plenty of times to return Amazon packages and to do finger prints for the job and it is always a quick experience. The employees are nice, quick, and efficient. I'm always in and out of her quickly and I really like that a-lot. The parking is also very spacious. Store was clean and I'll keep returning to her for returns, shipments, and anything else I may need. read more

Horrible service. The associates did not know what they were doing with the printing service. They left very sensitive documents up on display on screen in the store where anyone would be able to access them. The woman trying to print my documents out kept, getting distracted. There is no reason at all that.You need to have a middle person to help you print documents. You need to do like office Max, and provide an email that the user can put directly into the printer and pay for their copies and prints right at the printer, rather than having to waste an hour right with store associates that are incompetent. I had to drive to office Max at Chesapeake. Square to do my printing, and it was still faster to do that, even with the 20 minutes drive each way. read more

I'm sitting outside the store 7 minutes before closing after rushing here from work and it's locked. Store employees are closing the store early (just saw a young blonde that works here sitting in her car)! Super annoying to not be let in after rushing here from work and it's NOT 7pm! I used to rave about the service at this store. But The service quality and staff knowledge have dropped drastically while really long wait times, being charged for usually free Amazon returns, charged $2 to email a label to them so they can print it and ' Oh well' attitudes. Tonight I waited 15 minutes as 3 staffers (2 who were brand new and unfamiliar with the computer) were stumped with 3 Amazon returns. One experienced staffer was explaining a process to a customer, so the other two had no direction. As a result, the line grew from 2 when I arrived to 8 when I left. Sadly, they couldn't handle my Amazon return since i had a label, and refused to buy a box. It's really disappointing. read more

Want to give a huge shout out to Ms. Regina!!! She took the time to help me figure out how to mail some important papers for recently deceased father. She didn't have to take the time but she saw I was struggling and in between her customers she came and helped me until I was able to seal the final envelope. Thanks to Amy this morning for locating my package and arranging for my package to be delivered tomorrow. There was a home fire in my neighborhood on the 16th this month when UPS wasn't able to deliver my package. The only problem was that the driver reported that I opted to pick up my package at a UPS site without ever having spoken to me. When I tried to locate my package online, the supposed site where I was to pick up my package was not listed. I called the UPS Store at Center Brooke #5885 and the most courteous and helpful Amy answered the phone and quickly resolved the issue in a matter of minutes. I had such a good exp here I had to share. Had a beat up computer being sent for repair. Forgot company's shipping label. The clerk was outstanding, she let me check my email and print from there. I was the only one in the store and the lady that work here (I think her name is kim) had a very bad attitude. She made it seem like she thought I was an idiot for the questions I asked and it was a big inconvienece for her to serve me. The other time I came here I was served by the guy who was friendly and professional. The other customer was busy arguing (actually yelling) with the kim lady. Either way I really dislike being treated like im an inconvienence and a complete idiot so I dont think ill be coming back here. Prices are steep as well. read more

I have been to this ups store multiple times but this last visit will be my last. As I walked into the store I greeted the owner Amy with a hello and said I needed a item to be shipped. As she asked me the address to where the package was being shipped, I noticed that she got angry as I was trying to say the address, I have a dialect and instead of being polite and asking for me to repeat it, she became disrespectful and rude to me. As a owner of a store, I think that when one is having trouble trying to understand someone, they should try to be more understanding instead of coming off as rude. As we proceeded with my order, her tone stayed the same as she continued to be ill-mannered toward me. That will possibly be my last time going to this particular ups store and I will gladly travel to another ups store as needed. read more

I would not have left this review but this is now the second time she has been outwardly disrespectful in front of customers. I have used this store a number of times since moving to the area over a year ago. Every time I come in I am greeted with good attitudes and great service.
