He was a big help and maintained composure as by the time he finished with us (we had been there when he opened at 9a) there were 7 others in line waiting for his help. I went here this morning to ship a package to Portland Oregon. It weighed no more than 8 ounces and was the size of a two pound box of chocolate candy. Despite this it cost $18.00 to send. I will never, and I mean NEVER go to any UPS Store again. I will either take direct to the UPS main facility in Sunnyvale or use the post office. I should have just taken my package and walked out. This is a total ripoff and denying them any future business is the only way I can respond to the price gouging. And, this was a surface 3rd day delivery so the price is even more outrageous. Very unfortunate shipping center. Had relocation pkgs sent and picked up along with 2 items freight. They were supposed to call upon arrival, and 5 days later we got a phone call saying we owed her for storage since the freight items had arrived (5 days prior, no phone call). Owner threatened to send back freight items ($1600 delivery fee.). Difficult place. I would reconsider if shipping to this location. read more

Hate to pile on, but feel the need. I had to ship a tire rim to Colorado. Online UPS tells me it'd be $21. Get to the store: $25. The "delivery area surcharge" is about double what it said online. UPS customer service tells me "each store is franchisee owned" and can charge different prices. Yikes- what a business model. Small print says "charges vary." Consider not advertising prices if they aren't valid! Or make it super clear that there's an "online price" and other brick and mortar prices. Save yourself some trouble and annoyance, do it online and print. Will not be going back, except maybe to drop off my package if I don't schedule a pickup. read more

There have been three times now I have been at 9am and they have not opened on time. The first I forgave them even though the employee could have cared less that he had kept people waiting outside for 15 minutes, the second time the store opened 10 minutes late the employee was apologetic. Today I waited outside (and others) until 9:15am and still no employee had shown up and I needed to leave. This is absolutely unacceptable. read more

Store clerk refused to print a receipt for package drop off. I called UPS to complain and was basically told that each franchise is independently owned and do not have to follow UPS procedures. So, my recommendation is this, if you are dropping off package at this UPS store location, you are doing so AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! read more

The struggle must be real... Didn't know they charge a $1.00 just to tape up a small box. I have gone to other UPS stores who do this as courtesy. I do all the shipping for a company with 152 employees and we won't be shipping from here anymore. Sad!! read more

Linda, the manager, really helped me out, more than once, and has gone out of her way to do so. I had to return a large item to QVC. QVC made an error on the instructions to return the product. Linda saved the day by allowing me to leave the product there (instead of lugging it around in my car, only to return at a later date once I waited to receive something QVC was going to get me in order to return product--long story). Once I returned to her shop, she got it out the next day. Not only that, she gave me a big discount on using her computer to do some stuff related to the debacle caused solely by QVC. I say 'five stars' for Linda. And I will return to her store again if I need her services. read more

Male employee made me wait several minutes even though I was the only customer in the store because he was on a personal phone call. Also, they charge you a dollar to tape on your shipping label. If you're doing Amazon's UPS drop off, take your business elsewhere. read more

Apparently it's $0.12 per page to make copies of pages, but $1 per page to scan pages (even though you're not using any paper or ink). Prices aren't posted anywhere. Cashier had no idea how to ring me up and was extremely rude. Hope this place goes out of business ASAP. read more

I came to this ups store with a very large rug and a prepaid shipping label to send out. The gentlemen that helped me out was named Ernesto. He was very pleasant and i was impressed at how he handled an elderly customer asking to use the fax machine in the store. This elderly gentlemen needed to use the fax machine in order to communicate with the social security office and clearly needed help. He was purchasing nothing so there is clearly no benefit to Ernesto or to his store for assisting the gentlemen with the fax machine . It's becoming increasingly less common to see truly selfless acts no matter how small. Thank you Ernesto. read more

This place is ridiculous and unfriendly. Isn't the point of it to help customers ship stuff in a way that makes them want to choose UPS for all their shipments? I walk in there with a box that is not fully taped because It was a and the woman there chastises me for not taping it. They would have also charged me 1 dollar to print the label had I not done that myself. Talk about rude. I know they have tape and I paid 13 bucks to ship an item 500 miles the least you can do is help me. I typically use fedex because there is one close to work. I go in there with untaped boxes and they actually tape the things up for me and they do it with a smile. FFS it is a shipping place. They buy tape by the truckloads and the 2 feet or so that I needed to seal the top of the box costs them pennies. read more

Only go here if you don't care whether or not your package will reach its destination. They rang me up and took my money, but didn't bother to put a UPS label on the package. And when I followed up - twice - I never heard back. I had to make my own inquiries and someone at UPS in New Mexico was able to find the package. I'm selling some things on Ebay this week. I Dropped off a large expensive computer to be shipped. The clerk packaged everything for me and it arrived at its destination the next day, buyer was very happy. A few days later I took some shoes to be shipped. The clerk gave me some supplies from the recycle pile for free to package, was very helpful and the cost was cheaper than USPS. They are always busy but the clerks are very helpful and professional. read more

Horrible customer service. I have been going there for years and never had a problem with having them tape a box shut for me. Apparently they are under new management now and are charging $1 for a 2inch tape job. I was on my way back from the gym and didnt have my wallet on me but she didnt care. After this I will be shipping for another location even though it is not as close I will not be supporting a business that treats customers this way. read more

Not sure if it was incompetence or dis-interest but the guy was hopeless, a waste of space as we call it. Do not go there if you want anything done outside of the normal dropping off a parcel. Printing a label was too difficult for them to comprehend how to do it we went to another UPS store. Guys...wake up! We live in 2014 with Internet...get out of the 1960's! I went to this location to have some documents notarized a few years ago and a couple of reasonably friendly and efficient guys helped me out. So today I went there for the same reason, and when I asked if a notary was available, the woman behind the counter rolled her eyes and gave me an exasperated sigh. As if I had asked her for the proverbial grilled weasel on a lightly toasted bun, rather than a service that they advertise online and for which a sign is prominently displayed in their window. She told me I would have to wait, which made me think the notary had stepped out for a minute. It turns out she meant that she was the notary, but I would have to wait for the person ahead of me to be finished with his transaction. Well, obviously. Unfortunately I wasn't able to fully experience her stellar customer service skills because the document I needed to notarize required a witness and she was the only one there. So I had to take my business elsewhere. Bummer. read more

Very disappointed. Needed to ship three medium/large boxes to Oregon. They asked ~$40 more than FedEx for same shipping conditions (2-day ground). Ended up shipping with FedEx (who were even open later as well). read more

Very convenient location and excellent customer service. They always try their best to help out with all your shipment needs. I have a box there for almost 3 years now and like the convenience of just calling them to know if I have any mail or not. Plus they notify you if you get any packages etc. The greatest advantage is that you get a street address so you can have your stuff shipped there just like your home. read more

I had a cellular shade to return for repair. I went into this location to look for a box. I spoke with Linda, she showed me the box I would need, said if I brought the shade in she could box it for me. I returned the next day with the shade, Linda was extremely friendly, package the shade, printed the label (I had the wrong address, she looked it up and we verified the correct address) She made the process of returning the shade much easier! Never had a problem with this UPS store. I went to get a document notarized about 30 minutes before closing and I was promptly greeted by the employees and next in line for notary services. The young man who assisted me was professional and pleasant. I've also used this UPS store in the past to return clothing items purchased online back to merchants with pre-paid labels. It's always been made easy and I haven't had any negative experiences in the past 6 years using this neighborhood store. read more

Went in to print two sheets from a document I had in my email inbox. Been to a couple of UPS stores before. They expect you to pay $3 as internet usage charge just to access your email. In here, they have a free computer to access your email. I printed out two sheets. The guy manning the store was generous enough to not charge me for just two sheets. The Older Asian lady manager working there thinks she is a Detective and has an Extremely bad attitude. She would not notorize a document for one of my staff (who cannot read and write English). I went with him and read it and explained to him which should have been fine. He was only declaring that he was a former Army personell and had all his Ids. Last time I checked a Notary only has to verify that the document being signed is being signed by the person who's name is on the document and that he has the proper identification. She made his son fax a whole bunch of extra documents (which she charged us for)) and still did not notorize the document. Another place did it in 3 mins. She needs to go.Also when I asked the other male associate for the owners number he said she was the owner. Other businesses next to this UPS store have mentioned she is not the owner. I pity him since his staff are bulldozing customers and he does not know. I own 3 businesses and if my staff told customers they were owners they would be fired on the spot (along with their fellow lying associates) read more
