Vanessa at this UPS location is an angel. We just had an experience with her that means more than she knows. We needed to get our marriage license application notarized and had a little slip up filling out the form. We're on a time crunch because we let so much time pass after our wedding to get this finished and we were a little stressed about our mess up. She helped up figure it out and was beyond sweet and kind. What Vanessa doesn't know is I lost my mom a couple of weeks after our wedding and that's why it's taken us so long to finish the forms. The slowest UPS I have ever experienced. Two to three staff working and the guy that does Notar is never available he is always doing something and the other lady is always taking customers but damn the line barely moves. Arrived at 245 on a Saturday to get a notary and a page printed. Waited in line for fifteen minutes. As I was the last customer I approached TJ who told me he shut his computer system down and couldn't help me. He became extremely belligerent saying he closes at 3 despite acknowledging me several times in line. I said this is bull excrement he started threatening me. Told me never to come back. Well this location was extremely unhelpful. Our situation was simple. Amazon shipped a package to us ( in two parts ) with one shipping label. The package was quite large and heavy , and as such it was damaged ( and the package even open on one side of the boxes ) on arrival to my home. So I printed a return label for UPS and went to this store and carried the boxes myself for drop off. They were extremely unhelpful at this point. I was told they couldn't take it because it needed two labels. Amazon only provided one. They also delivered it with only one label ( with the same tracking number ), but UPS REFUSED to take it. I had an Amazon representative on the line and asked that the Manager of UPS confirm this with the Amazon representative. He refused. UPS refused to help or take the package, and also refused to even explain the situation to Amazon so they could assist. At the end of the day, I had Amazon schedule a UPS pickup for the boxes anyway and they take it no problem. So this store is a joke. read more

Where do I begin. The older Indian guy who said he was the owner is rude ! We run a small online business so we purchase our labels from a 3rd party. The majority of our packages are UPS for a more cost efficient savings for our customers. We brought in 20 packages and there was a line out the door. Past experiences with other UPS we just leave the packages on the counter because we don't need a receipt. But the Indians guy was rude and had such terrible customer service ! He literally yelled at us, pushed us and and pushed the boxes back in our wagon and force us to get back in line so he can scan the boxes for HIS own peace of mind and sake. That's not my problem! I do my own labels to cut down time because i know the line is always long. It was a terrible experience, we just moved to Tracy but we will NOT be using this location. read more

Waited about 10 mins in a line, had my QR codes from Amazon ready. I also had three items in one bag. This was a HUGE problem for the store manager. She insisted I take out and separate items, she could not touch them. I complied and two packages were made, but both employees still had major attitudes. It's over priced. They're SLOW. The line is ALWAYS out the door (probably because they're slow) the equipment doesn't work half the time and they don't tell you until you stand in the line and get to the counter. At least post it so people don't wast time standing there for 20+ minutes just go get turned around. read more

The older lady at this location white Caucasian is so rude and not helpful at all Omg why are you even in customer service. Luckily and thankfully, receptionist clerk Lidia, along with her fellow colleagues at this location, were able to assist me continuously and have been of upmost professional personnel that I have encountered over the counter at any and all UPS Store locations. They have assisted me with my urgent requests of a pending package delivery that is well past due of the estimated delivery date and after following up with the 1-800 UPS Hub numbers and the UPS App, I've realized my profile had not been updated on my behalf for years. Employee was very rude about Amazon return process. I've never had an issue with using other locations to process returns that weren't packaged or labeled by the customer, instead opting for the free version Amazon recommends that only requires a QR code. Went over all procedures with Amazon customer service prior to this return, but employee required me to package them before she would attach label as "they can't be held responsible" for sending multiple items from an order and she "couldn't print a secondary label" for the second item. Ended up having to buy their expensive packing materials in the store to complete the return as I didn't have time to be driving all over town for what should've been a straightforward scan. I am very upset and will never ever use UPS again, last Monday I sent a small package to my cousin that is visiting in San Jose, CA. (Tracy to San Jose) and as of today she has not received the package, they charged me $11.22. If I had used the USPS it would had been delivered next day for only 10 dollars. I searched on the tracking number and always said "on the way" now they say they need the address.......What ! Easy parking at this location. Several friendly young staff members who are very efficient. When the older Indian female is behind the counter, it's a different experience. It's almost as if I work there rather than being the customer. I prefer this location, as it's safer and more convenient than the other 2 UPS stores in Tracy. Just not helpful whatsoever. I tried to return a package on Saturday the woman told me to put it in the corner because that's where the Amazon returns go. The return still wasn't registered I went. Into the store asking why a return wouldn't be registered I even provided the code for them to maybe see if they could track it for me but I was told that there's nothing else they could do no attempt to even help me out. They said proving the code doesn't matter. I expected someone to at least make an effort or look into the matter but they told me that and just stared at me as if that's that. Maybe management needs to view the cameras here to check on their employees and make sure there isn't any purposeful misplacement of packages. I dropped off 3 packages on Saturday morning when they first opened. One of the packages was for a friend. After my packages were scanned, I was able to see my package was returned on amazon that same day, but my friend's was not, even though she scanned it and even gave me my friend's name to confirm. When I was being helped, the woman told me to take my two packages to a wall across the room and told me to leave my friend's package on the counter with her. Three days later and amazon has still not registered that a return was made. I had a weird feeling when that woman told me to leave the package but I had no reason to not trust an employee. Now, after reading some other reviews about similar things happening to them I am very suspicious of what actually happened to that package. My boyfriend went there to see what the status was of our friend's package and was told "scanning the barcode wouldn't matter," which if it was scanned, wouldn't you be able to see if it was at least received by UPS? Please someone correct me if I'm wrong since I don't know how that works. But this woman refused to scan the code for amazon making me think, it's because they maybe didn't scan that they received the package. It all just seems so shady. I plan on just going to another UPS from now on. It really isn't worth it to be dealing with this type of shadiness. read more

Standard UPS store. They have a ton of services that you can get done there such as: mailing, shipping, copy, print, fingerprinting, passport photos, just to name a few. The service here is good nothing outstanding. I've had to come here to send out packages that have return shipping labels and they take the package and give you a confirmation receipt that says it has been accepted there. Arrived at the store before they closed, to drop off a prepaid package. Normal people work and commute,who live in Tracy and sometimes just make it on time to shops that close early. This isn't the stores fault. What stores do need to do is abide by their hours of operation. All I needed was for them to take my package. I arrived at 6:50 and yes I was cutting it close but not after hours. I drove around the parking lot trying to find the store since it was my first time to this location. Without the physical address I probably wouldn't have found it. I double checked my watch and IPhone clock which both now said 6:55. UPS's clock 7:03? What do you know, gates rolled down, doors locked and employees mentally checked out. Im guessing all this prep took a few minutes. So now it's evidence they closed well before their posted closing time. The gentleman employee who was waving me away and pointing at the registers to indicate they were powered down would make a great mime. As he then proceeded to very flamboyantly pet the gate to illustrate that it was secure and not going to be opened. Come on, your job is customer service and you are taunting me. I look up at the clock inside which is visible from the door and their clock is nearly 10 minutes fast. Uh ok, so we just make our own schedule now. Finally a few minutes later a woman walked up to the door and took my package. What a miracle. As simple as that. A thank you and the transaction is complete. This is the worst ups store. I dropped off three amazon return packages and got the receipt. Two of them were returned successfully one was not. I called the store as it showed label was created but not shipped a week later and they said I had to contact ups. I called ups and they said I had to contact amazon as they lost the package. Why would I have to call when your store lost something I dropped off and got receipt for. I have never had an issue returning any item to any other ups store. This was my first and last tome coming to this one I do not recommend. I suggest going to the one on S Tracy Blvd instead just a mile more but no issues with them. read more

This UPS store is a joke! No customer service at all!! I went to this store to send out a package I already had a tracking label. All I needed was a strip of clear tape to close my box and attach label. As I walked towards the counter there was a tape dispenser sitting there. As I reached to use it I asked "Can I use this" the Indian man with the orange hair turns to me and says "That will cost you a dollar" at first I thought he was joking. He wasn't joking this man literally was charging me a Dollar for a strip of tape!! Its not about the dollar but about the principal. I laughed at him and left. I went to the UPS store on Tracy Blvd and of course they have a Tape dispenser right there for all their customers to use with no charge.
