The UPS Store - Printing Services Near Me - Tracy, California

I stopped in on the UPS store this past Wednesday to have some documents notarized ($10 dollars per document). Walking in, I was greeted right away by a young lady working behind the counter. Taking a quick look around the store, I noticed they had several different size PO boxes for rent, two copy machines for hire ($.25 a copy) and the usual boxing / packaging things you would find at a UPS Store or the Post Office. I did take notice that they also sell cell phone cases for various type phones, including the iPhone, changers and other accessories, each item being only $5.00. They also make keys on the premises too. The young man who helped me with my notary items was polite, patient and seemed to really like working at the store. This was my first experience with a UPS Store and because of the speedy and caring attitudes of the two employee's, it made for a great first impression. I will not return to this store! The owner was rude to me in the pass and I let it go. Now...one of the employees was not any help to me. I actually read some of the comments BEFORE going to this location literally everything the 1 star reviews/customers are saying is true lol. Theyre so snakey they try to nickle dime for pieces of tape as it is now they charge for packaging etc when amazon clearly states that the store will package it for you after your drop it off. 2ndly customers mentioned a rude old indian employee and those comments were spot on! He must have little man syndrome or something watching him talk to customers/even other employees i didnt know wether to laugh or be upset. I want to start by saying that I don't do reviews very often and when I do, I acknowledge businesses who offer superior products and services, to hopefully bring their establishment more business. The employees here are extremely kind and helpful, however, The Manager Paul (i think) is completely rude and condescending. Not only to customers but his employees. And micromanages his employees to the point of embarrassment for them. I frequent this location for many different needs but today was my last day supporting this location. RUDEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I've been to this location many times. When it's slow, I never have any problems. When a line starts to form, the older workers become rude and will get short with you. (I have never had any problems with the younger workers) The store is small, so two people in line would be waiting in the store but the third person in line would be waiting out the door. I'm usually not the type of person to complain directly when it comes to bad/rude customer service especially when it's such a small thing but today's interaction really got me as it wasn't just one short moment of rudeness but everything from beginning to end was plain rude. Today, I called in to the store and was asked to be out on hold, I said okay. After 15+ minutes a worker takes me off hold to answer my questions. With each answer she gave, she let out a frustrated exhale and then some attitude. I politely asked for her name and how she spelled it. Again, she exhaled and said "oh my god, V A N I T A" or however she spells her name. She said it so fast. I asked if she was a supervisor or if I could speak to the manager and she began talking over me and basically yelling at me at this point and hangs up on me. I call back and another person answers and says they have a line out the door and to call back another time and hangs up on me too. I did not even get to say a word. I call back again and they stopped picking up my calls. After a while, he call me back and asked me what I needed. I told him about my experience with VANITA and said she hung up on me. He says that my carrier dropped the call. I told him, "no, she yelled and hung up" He said it was because I wasn't listening to her. I asked if they were the only two workers working there today and he said yes so I asked for his name which is PAUL. When I asked for the other worker's name, just to be sure, he said "I don't know. You talked to her". I asked him "you don't know the name of your worker?" (He said he was the manager) then he said her name was SONYA. What???? I'm really fed up with their customer service at this point so I ask him how I can contact the owner to file a complaint and he gives the store number and says I can call the store and ask to speak to the owner, as he cannot give out the owner's phone number, which is understandable. I tell him "I'm calling right now, may I speak to the owner" he says the owner isn't there. So I ask him when the owner would be in, he said that he doesn't know. So I ask him to contact the owner and let the owner know that I would like to speak to him. Paul then says he doesn't have his contact number. I ask him "so you don't know how to contact your employer?" And he just flat out says no. Trying to get me off the phone he says if I want to complain, I can call the corporate number and that he can give it to me. I told him that won't do anything for me as the store is independently owned and is a franchise. He repeats himself and when I asked for the number he hangs up on me. I tried calling back and they once again, stopped picking up my call. read more

Beware customers with multiple packages to ship, the owner works with his wife to distract you while scanning your packages he deliberately skips a package, as it happened to me, I found out by the recipient of none receipt and no tracking found. a total loss for me. UPS was informed. read more

If I could leave less than one star I would, took some Amazon packages back today and apparently I did not have the barcode up and ready for the gentleman behind the counter, so there was quite an exchange with him and I found him to be completely rude, disrespectful, and all-around horrendous human being. Sonia is so fast and professional. I'm not here to make buddies I just need my items sent, my tracking is always provided and they try to go as fast as possible. Both owners work the store AND have other employees in a time where everyone is short staffed they keep a full team going. If you see a long line just wait they move quick. I 100% agree with the other person who posted about trying to use this business to return an Amazon package. I have done that rarely, but today when I walked in the person who I spoke to pointed at a poster on the wall and asked me if I had the scan code. I told him that I might have it but he muttered "Go on outside" as he was walking away and went to a cash register to help another person help a customer. Apparently this happens quite often, outside on the sidewalk is a sign with some instructions about Amazon returns. So I could have read it and avoided these people altogether. He didn't come back right away, so I left, because he was rude, poor customer service and because he and the other person who were working the counter wore Covid masks but they were pulled down under their chins. Corporate deserves to know about these clowns. And aside from the customer cool both employees were helping, I was the only person waiting so they weren't busy. read more

I come here for all my return needs. They are quick and efficient. I especially like them for my Amazon returns. Make sure you have your package properly packaged and your QR code ready to return to Amazon. If it's a third party return for Amazon make sure you have your label printed and taped to your properly packaged return. I recommend them for all your Amazon returns. read more

I don't often leave reviews unless a business has really left an impact on me. Very recently my mother passed away. Due to covid restrictions we are unable to have a funeral, so I decided to make packages with memorial items to ship to her friends so they could still celebrate her life. I was pretty anxious because I don't ship stuff very often, and I had about twenty packages needing to be sent to all kinds of different places. The man at the counter was incredibly nice to me, and reassured me multiple times it was no problem when I felt bad for holding the line up behind me. A little bit of kindness goes such a long way sometimes, and with the past couple of weeks being so difficult to get through it was so nice to have someone show some mercy and even take the time to inform me of how I can ship things more efficiently and provide small business shipping info. UPS store on S. Tracy Blvd. The employees in this store are exceptional. I am a senior, when I was applying for my pension there was so much paperwork to copy and fax . I needed help running the copier she didn't hesitate coming over to help me. ( I was so stressed out and she calmed me down and got my paperwork off.) I was so relieved. When I needed to send a package back to Amazon I didn't know how and they helped me get it done. Again so relieved. I'm always pleased with the service I receive there. read more

I've been coming to this location for years to mail packages and recently got a livescan. I was treated so poorly today by the owner when trying to send an amazon package. I did not know the box had to be taped as I have never been told this before after sending many, many Amazon boxes at this location over the past year. He was rude and instead of speaking to me about it, just gave me a paper with the policy written on it. Horrible customer service after years of frequenting his business. I do not recommend this location. Kindness is important when running a business. Especially to customers who have never caused you any problems in the past and who make an honest mistake. read more

I have used this store a few times, when passing through to get some things shipped. I am disappointed in the prices for shipping. I understand all UPS Stores are independently owned and they set there own price. I sold a few things on eBay and didn't even make profit because I paid $70 to send five packages. (It was baby clothes, mind you. Not anything that weighed a lot) When my mom forgot her iphone at my house, I went to ship it over night to Houston and you know how much it was??? EIGHTY FOUR DOLLARS!!! for a flippen iphone that weighs 4 ounces. Can we say price gouging?!!! Very disappointing. Especially when I sent a huge box to Maui filled with toys, diapers, extra baby items and it was $100 in shipping and it got there in four days. I have gone to this location on two separate occasions for notary service. The first time I called and they told me the person that does notary is in today, so I headed down there, once I got there they told me that she was not in. The second time I called to see if they had notary service and was told by the lady on the phone I think she comes in at 11:30am, i voiced my concern if they can verify because I do not want to come down there and the notary service is unavailable. I've been going to this location for as long as they've been open. Not often, maybe 2-3 times per year. In the past year, there has been a huge change. I went in a few months back to drop off something that I was sending to my son. The owner was less than friendly. I ignored it and went along with my day. Several weeks back I came in with my daughter to get a Live Scan. We were greeted by 2 friendly employees, then the owner comes in from the back door and proceeds to take over, without a greeting. He then directs me to go sit down. "Um, why? I'm fine standing." Owner, "We need the counter space for customers.". There was no one else in there and a whole other counter!!! Last I checked, I was one of those customers about to shell out $97 for 5 minutes of your time. Rude. Will not return! read more
