Like this place. The staff are awesome and the location is great. They are friendly and very helpful. Sometimes the line gets long but I don't have a problem waiting. I went here yesterday to do an Amazon return for 2 different Amazon orders. The older middle eastern lady behind the counter was very slow helping everyone which caused a line. When it was my turn, I went to the counter explained I had an Amazon return with 2 different shipping labels that needed to be scanned. The lady tried to sell me an envelope for the items. I told her that Amazon said I don't need an envelope or box, just to bring the items in with the label. I asked the lady to scan the label so she could see the instructions from Amazon. She didn't seem to want to scan the label. She stopped helping me to answer someone else's question. Finally when I pulled up the label on my phone, she wanted the bar code enlarged. After scanning the item she could see I didn't need an envelope. I told her that's what I had explained to her. Then she wanted to explain to me Amazon returns. I cut her off because I didn't have time to waste on reviewing our prior conversation and asked her to scan the second label so I could leave. After scanning the second label she wanted me to give her the envelope I brought the item in with. I told her the envelope wasn't for her, because I typically shred the part that has my address on it. She finally gave me the receipt for my return and then she told me not to come back to go elsewhere. I never cussed or yelled at this woman. I just didn't enjoy her incompetence. read more

The notary service is HORRIBLE here!!!! Rajpreet is SO slow! Like if you've seen that scene in Zootopia with the sloths at the DMV, I'm telling you she's worse. We waited over an hour for 1 notary. There was a couple already with her when we arrived. Apparently they had already been there 40 min with her. She proceeded to make small talk after completely done with the notary process while 6 people were waiting in line for her notary. When we FINALLY were up, she proceeded to start talking to us about everything she talked to the previous people about (like how big their house is and how they're so impressive). During the time she's supposed to be helping us, she keeps stepping away to help people dropping packages off instead of finishing with us. She writes every letter so slow and pushes each stamp and holds it down for a long time. Everything she does is slow. She kept trying to have small talk with us and every time she did, she'd stop working. They're just absolutely horrible. The other employee was terrible too with not helping customers or answering questions. She would just say I don't know and not look for the answer. Don't come here for a notary unless you have at least an hour and 1/2. read more

The first time I went in to mail a birthday package to Brittain, they charged me $99. without telling me Brittain would charge the recipient a $43. DUTY ! It came back to me 2.5 MONTHS LATER, with EXTRA POSTAGE DUE, $10. even though I INSURED IT!. Nor would they allow me to PREPAY the duty. The 2nd & 3rd time I UPSed something to Canada, (facebook friends) and it took TWICE the time Jennifer quoted. The 4th time I mailed a home made jean purse, this time to Brazil, to another facebook friend, Jennifer said it would be $130. to UPS it, or 1st class mail it, for $20. But there would be NO TRACKING #. It was only supposed to take a WEEK. 2.5 weeks later, she NEVER RECEIVED THE PACKAGE! Go to the real post office. read more

I visited all the UPS location in past two weeks in Tracy due to several oversea documents that needed to be notarized and no doubt this location is the best. It's under new ownership, female rep greeted with smile, and owner was very honest. I heard the owner advised customers not pay extra for early package delivery which is rear to hear from the ownership. Finally, he assisted my mom with the notarizing which took no more then 10 minutes but my biggest concern was my dad. My dad is unable to walk 5 steps, needs oxygen tanks at all time, and I informed the owner. He came out to my vehicle to get the signature and fingerprint from my dad. My family and I wanted to thank from bottom heart because he went beyond his business protocol. I read some of the negative reviews and many of yelper might not know that any mistake inputting information will cause your package to be sent back to you. If your in a hurry to get something done please schedule accordingly and don't blame other for your lack of time management skills. Thanks! read more

I wish I could give the owner of this store a negative rating. He is one of the most unprofessional business owners I have ever met. 2 weeks ago i was there to send a package to New York and the items in my package were costing about $800 so I took insurance on it. It was a busy a evening and I told this Asian girl that I need the package to be there by Thursday as my relative it leaving for India on Friday. I also mentioned that he was going to be home all day Thursday. Some how she choose ground shipping which I was not aware and I did check the label just to confirm the address but did no pay attention to the type of shipping. I paid approx $40 and left thinking everything is taken car off. Later I found out that my package was delayed so then I go to the store again and had a whole conversation on this issue with the same girl. The owner Mr T. J Basra was present there who had no courtesy to listen to me and instead blamed me for my mistake of not telling her the right shipping day and left the store in the middle of conversation. I tried to tell him that she did not discuss the shipping options with me as I had already told her in the beginning that I need it there by Thursday. I requested to send my package back to the UPS store.He calls me today saying my package is returned & I need to pick up by tomorrow as he cannot hold it any longer. He also told me to pay the cost of having the package send back to the store and that his employee was crying as I had initially stated that I won't be paying for it as it was not my mistake and that she will have to incur the cost. When I told him how rude he was to me and I will address this to corporate, he stated " I don't care if you don't come to my store as I have too many customers". How RIDICULOUS is this.?! He really challenged my sanity today and I am never going back to that place again. read more

I have had a PO BOX at this store for the past 3-4 years. Both customer service girls (Jennifer and Vanessa) are always so pleasant and helpful. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS LOCATION! Unless you like to be treated as a pest and an inconvience to the workers for simple tasks, like mailing packages! Take the time to drive a couple blocks to the other UPS locations in town. The customer service is much more superior. The lack of respect and knowledge at this location is not worth your time nor money. I've lived in Tracy for 12 years and never have received such horrible customer service anywhere else in town. read more
