Conveniently located adjacent to the Waipio Costco, over by Panda Express. The bad: Customer service, pitiful. From the articles hanging on the wall at the register, it looks like the place is owned by a husband and wife team, and the husband looks like he serves/served in the military and fought in Iraq. An American hero, and I like American heroes. I also like great customer service, so I'm rooting for this team...if we can just get the wife to smile, greet the customer, make a little small talk, thank the customer, and genuinely appreciate the fact that we spent money at their establishment. The workers and especially Kim were extremely helpful. This was my first time shipping a return item. She clearly explained the different shipping options including the need to insure the item. They packed both items for me. They were knowledgable about all aspects of shipping to the mainland. For example, since there was a battery in the product, it had to be shipped second day air. She knew this and explained it clearly to me. Both Kim and her coworker were extremely efficient, courteous, and thoughtful. read more

I have had great service in the past. Today was another story. I was told on several occasions to just bring my Amazon returns and UPS will box/package and ship for me with my return code. So I've been going to the Waipio UPS to do all my returns. Today, I was told that I need to box it myself or buy a box from them. I explained that "I was confused" because I was told differently. Well, the woman who assisted me said that "I need to read the instructions!" That was kind of rude. I again explained that I never had to do that. And said again that "I was confused. Did things change?" She kept telling me that I have to READ. I then said, "this is so irritating" to come here and not being able to ship my returns today. So I had to cancel my return. She then asked for my receipt (which I put in my bag) and you know how slick and slippery the recipes are. It slipped out of my fingers, onto the counter. I began by saying "oops" and just before I was about to say "sorry." She said that I was rude. I told her that I did not do that purposefully and mentioned the receipt paper is slick. That made me so upset. Who's the rude person here? Gosh! Sorry that I didn't READ my return paper. Sorry I assumed the procedures were the same as before. Sorry for having dry hands and having things slip out of my hand. Sorry for not saying "sorry" before you called me RUDE. I am still upset with thIs. This experience made my drive home and evening horrible! So awful. read more

Very disappointed that my documents haven't ship right away when I dropped it off on Saturday 12/19, I paid $30+ for 2nd day air and expected to have those documents delivered by today 12/21, if I didn't call to follow up this afternoon the tracking info would have not updated from "tracking info is not available" til tracking info updated to "shipper created a label" today at 6pm, which in fact I went to drop it off on Saturday. I feel that I wasted for paying $30+ when I could've went to USPS instead. I hope the owner read this review!! read more

My husband and I was a bit unsatisfied by the customer service we received today. I made and appointment for notary services online which was very easy and convenient. My husband was called in early to work so we decided to show up early and wait in line instead. The website did say "APPOINTMENTS NOT NECESSARY". My husband checked in with no line in front of us and the employee said that it was only by appointment and that our appointment is not till later. What!?!? When he said that I was like really! Is there an available appointment now? The employee said hold on and went to her computer did some typing and came back and said yeah we can take you but next time come at your appointment time! I didn't make any comments to her but I would advise that the website does not give false information. read more

6/20 @ 6:15PM: I had a single Amazon return that I needed to drop off to any UPS location by a certain date. Amazon's return policy / process is such a breeze and so incredibly convenient it's almost too good to be true so I can't really give 100% of the credit to UPS however, this UPS only contributed to the ease and simplicity of the return which I truly appreciate! There was only one worker working and she was friendly and nice (even though we only interacted for less than 2 mins ). The parking lot is shared with Fat Boy's, Ninja Sushi, Ramen Ya, Panda's Express, & Starbucks. The stalls are kinda tight but if you're only going to be parking for less than 5 mins, it's really the least of your worries. read more

Located in Waipio, near Costco and Starbucks, this business provides all types of mailing services, printing, office supplies and more. They'll sign for your packages and hang on to it for several days without charging storage fees. This is great for those who travel or get home late and don't want to be a victim of packages being stolen if they were sent to a residence instead. I've been a customer at this location for almost 8 years and every single time, they've provided beyond excellent customer service. Their prices have gone up and are more expensive than USPS, but you're paying for premium services, a street address and awesome customer service. It's almost time for my mailbox subscription renewal, so I've decided to close it out before the renewal date. The bad part about this, they do not forward mail once you close out your account. My wife was in Costco, and I needed to send some documents overnight, so I decided to save some time and go back to the UPS Store across the Costco parking lot. WRONG MOVE!! The clerk that was "helping" me was named Jo-Elizabeth. I think she is so clueless, she can't figure out what her real name is. She talked on the phone, talking to "aunty" at Costco, ordering hotdogs for herself and her staff. "I like da dakine soda...half fruit punch, half raspberry tea. Yeah, you know, da kine raspberry tea! No forget aunty And I like dakine brown mustard on top, not dakine yellow-kine mustard!" In the meantime, I'm standing there waiting for her to help me, while the idiot young kid next to her did nothing to assist. FIVE MINUTES passed while she tried to get her hotdog order straight. This store is great. The staff is very friendly, courteous and efficient. I'm always in here picking up or returning Amazon packages. I asked them if they could mail something for me so I didn't have to go to the post office and they obliged. I even got something notarized there today. Always a good experience. Update on my missing Fed Ex package: My husband explained to the manager for the 4th time that my package was missing and she kept insisting that she already gave it to us (story changes after awhile, doesn't it?). Well, my husband decided to CHECK THE BACK himself, and lo-and-behold, my package was there with the wrong box number written on it. This package was for my home business and I lost a lot of money by not getting it on time. Of course, there was no offer to even pay for my shipping or even an admission that it was their fault. The staff here has always been very helpful when I've needed to ship things, be it Amazon returns, USPS drop offs, or even having some items packed and shipped! Located in the same shopping plaza as Fatboys and Starbucks the parking situation can be a little frustrating and you may have to take a few laps before finding a stall. In the past I've even had to send my xbox in for service and the staff has been able to get my things packed and shipped in a few minutes. USPS drop offs are a nice option as well for eBay sales when I can't make it to the post office. Besides food I think my money goes to Amazon and eBay so Th UPS store has become like a second home... IF the hours were a little more flexible and prices a little lower, this place is GUARANTEED five stars. I'm a regular here as I have had a mailbox for over a year now and I LOVE it. The privacy is amazing and when you lose your key, the staff is so helpful. It's so IN and OUT: perfect for those on the go. I always find parking but it can get packed depending when you go and I know thats a huge negative for a lot of people. There is a bathroom, just ask the front for the code and it's next to the stairs. The prices are reasonable for a mailbox AND you get what looks like a real address! Score! I think I pay about $100 every 6 months or so. I'll update on that later. The service is impeccable. Really professional, friendly and fast! I actually like looking forward to checking my mail! Sending mail is easy too. Something small and simple is about .64 cents. And if you sign up for a mailbox, big packages that arrive ... you are notified by email. How awesome is that read more

Had one of my packages rerouted to be picked up at this UPS location. My dog finds pleasure in ripping open boxes and ruining your newly ordered items, so I decided to play it safe and have my packaged delivered here instead. I kept a close eye on the tracking of my package. Maybe 5 minutes after I got an email alerting me that it had been delivered, Karen, from UPS Waipio called to let me know my package had arrived and was ready to pick up. Since I live 5 minutes away, I was able to stop by before my doctor's appointment to pick up my package. Jo Elizabeth helped me with the process. She verified with my ID, had me sign off, and even brought out a dolly to help me bring the package to my car. The whole process was done with ease and I felt that the workers enjoyed helping their customers. If you have a UPS package being delivered, make a UPS account online and have your package dropped off here (especially if your dog has a personal vendetta against packages being dropped off). This will save you the headache and make sure your purchases are kept in a safe place. You can't believe the number of times I worry my packages will be laid out for the temptation to steal or for my dog to shred. Yvonne was so helpful on the phone, she gave me an estimate and ensured she would pack it personally and that it would be well taken care of. I brought down my 8 boxes of china, about 120 pieces total. I finally met Yvonne and she was so friendly and helpful. She hand wrapped each piece individually and made custom boxes for everything! Highly annoyed that a UPS branded store does not carry UPS Ground packaging. Are they for real?

We sent an international shipment through this UPS Store. They made a mistake, and misaddressed it to the wrong country code. The shipment could not be delivered; they could have chosen to have the address changed, or the shipment returned. Instead, they chose to abandon the shipment. Leaving us high and dry, no shipment delivered -- this is medicine for a pregnant lady -- and no way to recover the funds we paid for it, or the shipping cost. Total loss more than $400. They will not even talk to us about it. Epically terrible customer service. read more

They got good service, always kind of busy, and the parking is sometimes a little difficult, but it is a place.

I come to this location often and always receive great customer service. I am happy to be able to send usps and they provide the usps packaging for it, so I can use priority mail. The prices for USPS I find to be cheaper than UPS services for some reason. It's never busy enough to have to wait more than a few minutes. It's also conveniently located next to restaurants and usually there is at least a few parking spots open so you don't have to loop around to find one. They also do notary services as with most other UPS locations. read more
