As a long-time customer, I appreciate being able to have my packages delivered there and know they're safe and secure rather than worrying about porch bandits. I noticed a lot of the negative reviews tend to be one-time customers. Of course, any time you ship a package and have it misplaced it's an incredibly frustrating experience. But mail and more is not responsible for the item's actual transport. JennifeEmily, Diane, and Bob always have a welcoming smile and warm greeting. Jennifer and her staff are a pleasure to work with. Update: I ordered some books from Amazon that I needed in time to attend a book festival in another state. Amazon shipping notifications had the books arriving Tuesday. When I checked on delivery, the USPS had shipped the books all over the place. From the Amazon facility at Ashland to Stafford to Locust Grove and then back down to Richmond. I'd gone in earlier on Wednesday to check when USPS might be delivering mail, and Jennifer said it varied by day. I told her I was waiting for some books I needed for the trip and if they didn't arrive, we'd just need to re-buy them so we had them for signature and return the ones ordered from Amazon once they arrived. Shortly before closing time Jennifer contacted me to tell me the package had arrived, so we were able to get them. Thanks!

I needed a small, 12 page story book printed. I made sure he had my phone number and forwarded the content to him via email and he assured me I could pick it up on Friday. I came in Friday and he told me "oh, I couldn't do it" Stunned I asked "Why not?" He explained the way the slides were laid out, he couldn't print them in order. I said, trying to hide my frustration, "I wish you would have called me. I could have adjusted it for you." He replied, " I couldn't find your number. Mind you, he had my email because the content was sent to him via email but whatever. I tried to adjust the layout on the computer in the shop, but while I was trying, he figured it out. That to me meant if he had spent a few minutes trying to figure it out while doing the job, he could have completed the job. Now he assured me I could pick it up on Monday. I called before I got there because they close at 5 and it was 4:30 and I was just getting to the commuter lot. I wanted to make sure he knew I was still coming to pick it up. Good thing I called because when I got there at 4:45, he was just printing it. It was almost like he heard my message and thought, crap I better do that now. When I finished he gave me this poorly laid out book and the whole book is out of order. The last page is the first page. A simple two minute read through or at least comparison with what I provided would have made it obvious this was out of order. Annoyed, but still being too pleasant, I told him it was out of order. He put the pages in order and printed it again. This time it was in order but it just looks stupid. There is a cover image with a blank page right next to it. (See photo) as a professional printer, I would have been embarrassed to present this to a customer. Now I don't have time to get this reprinted and I'm stuck with 5 copies of a book I'm embarrassed to present to anyone.. In all of the errors and communication failures, not once did he apologize or express a single ounce of remorse for this poor service. This job was handled so poorly, I felt disrespected. I'm not sure why my experience is so different from whomever gave him 5 stars, but I wouldn't use this shop to make a single copy

I went in to get my jeans hemmed. I told her that one leg is slightly longer than the others so…read morethat it's best to use a ruler to mark the jeans from the ground up and then cut the inches I wanted off from that mark. She wouldn't listen. She pinned the jeans and eyeballed the hem- she didn't even pin them correctly- long story short, one hem is longer than the other and they are completely off. Also I had my jacket hemmed- it was a bit sloppy. She found other places my jacket needed hemmed and to be honest, with the work she did I could have done it myself. See photos. I was charged $115 for hemming my jeans and fixing my jacket with a dry clean (there was a stain on my jacket). Anyway, usually I'd go back in and have them redo it, but she's kinda pushy- very sweet woman but I don't like not being listened to. Also, going back would mean she would have to cut my jeans again and I'm over it.

I am currently working on a PhD & need tons of supplies and to print and make copies but I would rather go further away to another print/copy place than buy anything from this rude place. The owner acts like he is doing a huge favor by accepting your parcels for shipping even though he gets a fee per package. Oh well, they can keep up this attitude and continue to lose money. I hope UPS sets up in store in this neighborhood. A professional store where they treat all customers well, white and non-white, is sorely needed in this neighborhood.
