The one room boasts pretty hair stations and the stylists are genuinely friendly like I have never seen. I get to see and hear about the town of Westchester too. Loyal customers next to me are speaking of their regular appointments through the years! Everyone is chatting about life updates and catching each other up -- a real feel of the community. Currently a male stylist is speaking Italian to a customer as he cuts into a panettone. I loved Phyllis' cut and style! She was efficient and skilled -- I love the way my hair looks. She curled the ends and shaped my cut at no extra charge.

The salon is very nice and clean. The service is always by appointment and they always manage to service you upon arrival. Upon arriving at the salon at the scheduled time I was told that I will be seen by Griselda. I took a seat and she walked over to say that she just started to give a haircut to another customer and said to come back in 20 minutes. I reminded her that I had an appointment which I made it on time! Her response was "what do you want me to do" This was absolutely unacceptable. I made time out of my day to make it to the appointment on time and coordinated childcare coverage so I can attend this appointment. On top of this I am pregnant so I tried my best to accommodate my schedule. After all that she simply walks away without apologizing for the inconvenience!!

Donna, Jo Jo, Tanya Joanne and last but not least the co owner Cindy are collectively the most dedicated and gifted. There is an established esthetician that is constantly busy. SIX men were here, cursing and yelling while I was here. Definitely not a great "salon" experience. I'm not sexist but it was very loud, crude and an uncomfortable environment. Secondly, I wanted to use my Yelp "free treatment" with a check-in. I was told that I could use it when I called. When I went here and paid, I was informed that I could not use this offer. Don't offer it on Yelp then. Finally, I don't know where the owner and typical employees were but when I came here no one spoke English or could help me. I wouldn't come back here because of lack of customer service. The employees children running around yelling, using skateboards IN the salon and the loud employee who blew a fuse when I was getting my hair dried because she plugged in her phone and other gadgets into the same outlet... aren't even being included in the one star review. Hence, I wouldn't come back here. Also, I've been coming here for several years and I have NEVER paid $80 for a trim. Do not come here or waste your time.
