I'd like to thank the owner for getting back with me so quickly, it only took 9 days! In your industry of being an exclusive Vape shop, your service should be a top priority. Things like getting back with a customer in a timely fashion, being honest, and hiring employees that don't front themselves off as the owner.... When I brought the broken model in, I was never once approached with a fix it option.... It was a conversation in passing. Honestly I could careless about it... My point in this was that I vaped on a pod that tasted like S%#× for almost 2 weeks, while being told every other day that they would be in.. If someone at your establishment was just straight up being honest and said "I don't know if they will be in" I would have just bought a brand new mod from your store! It's not the cost, it's the time wasted of going in every other day that bothers me. We are all busy people, and I equate that type of service like being stuck in traffic behind someone going 10mph slower than everyone else... I have been vaping for nearly 9 years now, and I have gone to some pretty bad establishment's... I had liked going to the Vapor Box, it's close to home! But I can't wrap my head around your service, it's almost like you don't even want to care... Which in my eyes makes you just like any other tobacco shop, and not a vape shop that cares for its community. One of the many reasons people don't understand the vaping culture and lump this whole industry into the cigarette bodega era... You guys had many opportunities to right this wrong, and instead I got a lame excuse 9 days later, and still not even an apology for wasting my time driving and walking back and forth. Updated Review: I just can't say enough nice things about this place. The guy who works there is so friendly & patient. I had a battery/charger malfunction (long story short... I bought cheap batteries &charger from eBay) so I needed replacements... the guy (I wish I'd of asked his name) was so nice & explained all about the differences in the batteries & chargers they sell. This place really is worth fighting the uptown traffic for!! Thanks again Vapor Box!! Called The Vapor Box yesterday in a slight panic... I had burned my coil & was out of replacements. Ugh. I had called 2 other local shops and no one carried the coils I needed, but this shop did. So I hauled ass down there on my way to a party. I ended up trying to beat my urge for cigarets and decided to go in for my first vape. The best thing about this place was the staff. At first the guys came across as intimidating. All I had to say was ," I'm here for my first vape" and they opened up and welcomed me to their community. I was a complete novice but they took me under their wing and really helped me out. Not only did I find the vape I wanted to start off with but I was educated in all aspects. I truly feel thankful to these guys. They had a full stock of many different level of vapes. From pro merch to beginner starter kits. I wanted to start with something smaller to test out the vapor and they did not push me or pressure me to get anything that I did not want. These guys really try and put the customer first. It seems like they enjoy teaching and educating people in what they love. On top of the merchandise they have a great location. Super close to downtown whittier. For those that are hesitant to be seen going into a vapor shop it's located in the side . Discrete enough for those type of people. The guys here are also super clean. The shop is well taken care of from the outside and from the inside. The product is well organized and extremely detailed. I don't even know where to start with this place. I created a yelp account just so I can write a review. The pen they sold me was a clone (fake) claimed to be a real Vape sold me a pen a battery and a tank. The tank leaked the battery wouldn't hold a Chargers and the pen was overly priced also the tank didn't have wicks so they told me come back. The next day I went back to return it, the owner is no where to be found only has one employee at the shop, the employee struggled to get a hold of him, the employee said they had no other tanks I was willing to buy a new one, I even wanted to buy a dripper but they didn't have a cotton or coils. Once I got a hold of the owner buy phone I explained my situation and he quickly said no refunds you can exchange it but he had no other merchandise to exchange it for. They gave me a displayed tank and that leaked as well, we had to call the owner and argue with him. His employed looked like she felt bad and nervous looking for the merchandise and kept repeating that nothing has came in. He finally gave me my money back but just for the tank. I went to LA Vape Works and found everything for half the price and he was honest with having clone pens and had the real stuff which was cheaper than what I had bought mine for. He has a large selection and explains everything. My opinion is go somewhere else save your money and don't deal with this ghetto owner! read more

Ive been in the industry for quite a while now and came into the Vapor Box after walking around Uptown Whittier. I was amazed at the variation between starter kits a high end mech mods the Vapor Box offers. Jeremy was incredibly nice. Neither of the employees pushed any product on customers, they just wanted them to leave happy. I really enjoyed talking with Jeremy and the other staff. I bought a new tank the other day. The first day it leaked all over. So I brought it back and they swapped out the coil (after the guy insinuated that I had improperly changed out the coil even though I had just bought it). It leaked again, so I stopped by to try to exchange it for some "juice". The girl called her boss, and she said I had to come in when he was in, although she wasn't sure when he'd be in and to call another day to see if he was in, and he would change out the coil again, and if it still leaked he would then change out the tank for the same one, and if after that the new one kept leaking, then I could trade it for some juice. All this time wasted back and forth wouldn't be worth the $10 piece. I spent $50 there in a one month period, so it's a shame they will be losing my business. I'll just eat the $10 loss and start shopping somewhere else. read more

The service here is always on point. Every employee is extremely knowledgeable, and if they don't know the answer to your question, they find out for you. Jeremy especially was helpful. He was able to pinpoint the exact reason why the button on my mod was not working at 100%, as well as how to fix it. Even though the piece required was not available at that shop, he was willing to meet up on his own time to fix the issue. Unfortunately I never followed up with him, but the problem was corrected with the help of Nick. Later in the week I came in for a rebuild, and he had a button that a customer had given to them after upgrading their mod. The button was the exact one I needed to make my mod work perfect, and it was more than a relief to be blessed with it. Thank you for the continued excellent customer service. read more
