Eagle Peak Lodge - One of our private cabins that all have unobstructed views of the Grand Teton Mountains (beautiful).

I asked if they had any ev charging stations in the area. He told me he didn't have any idea but he would look if we had a minute. About 30 seconds later he said he found info that showed there were some behind a pizza place in town. Jesse said he had never seen them but it showed they were there. We asked about restaurants and he said the chargers were right behind his 2nd favorite place to eat (Five 11 Main Pizzeria and Soda Fountain). I asked what his first choice would be and he said Big Juds, right next door. We arrived earlier than we expected and a different gentleman named Scott greeted us and allowed us to check in early and was also as nice as he could be! We told him it was a rest day/down day and he said if you want a cool drive you may want to consider a drive to Mesa Falls. It was awesome and so were both restaurants that we were told about! Our hotel room was great! It was a large, clean room with a very comfortable bed and incredible shower/water pressure! It was perhaps the best pressure we have ever had at any hotel - it was that good!!! We will definitely be back to the hotel if we are in the area again!!! We stopped there before going to the Grand Tetons. Also, the price of the hotel was less than 1/4 of the cost of hotels inside the park!!! Scott and Jesse were amazing, the hotel was clean and neatly decorated, the price was great, and we couldn't have been happier! Go see them the next time you're in Ashton, ID.

Review is based solely on the RV PARK…read more Alright guys if you are reading this is because you are on your way to Yellowstone and need a safe place to stay that's only 1 hour away to the West entrance. Well don't get discouraged from the other post. Some are really old post and some are based on misguided information. Trust me, I live and rely on Yelp reviews so I was kinda hesitant to stay here but I gave it a try. How bad can it be!? But first let's address some of the reviews. Someone said they couldn't find it? I mean cmon there is a huge sign and entrance directing RV people to their RV spaces (and yes we arrived at night and found it). Took us about 2 seconds before we figured that one out. :) Now let's address some other stuff, customer service!? Well we had a great experience. It was as simple as calling in, reserving a spot and enjoying our travels. Now let's talk about the RV spaces itself. They were so many options to choose from, all provided with hookups , level spots and some great views. I really hate when people leave bad reviews on places that don't deserve it. Have fun and safe travels.

Best sleep of my life, extremely quiet and calm environment. Breakfast is wonderful, I'm a picky eater and they accommodated me perfectly while still making me feel welcome. Dennis had wonderful travel advice and ever printed us a map to help with one adventure. The house is very quiet in the morning, I was able to make coffee myself before the rest of the house woke (they include easy to follow directions). Close to the house is an Ospreys nest over the river. Baby fawn were near the river a few mornings. This place is a gem in Rigby!

We were all able to have our own rooms yet gather for breakfast, and mid-day walks together as a family. I woke up 2 of the 4 mornings to see a Moose outside by the river. All the rooms were perfect! We played cards at night, drank coffee in the morning, and had great fellowship with our family, whom we rarely see. It was far better than getting hotel rooms in town. The space was perfect for relaxing and enjoying each other. The B&B itself was clean, well-decorated, and very accommodating. The only thing I didn't realize was that we wouldn't have access to the kitchen, which I should have suspected. We were told we could use the grill; however, without a kitchen, it made the idea of grilling out as a family difficult. In my head, I thought it would be more like an Airbnb in the sense that we would access the kitchen, but that was the only thing I was unaware of as we had rented the entire space. The hosts, however, prepared terrific breakfasts for us each morning, and we just ate out each night. The river was fast, so we didn't do any fishing; however, the view right out the back door was priceless. A few of our family members used the hot tub, which they greatly enjoyed - sitting under the stars in a hot tub with the snake river and mountains in the background... Perfection!

Rating the restaurant which only offers a tasting menu (pick one appetizer, one entree and one…read moredessert from the 3-4 options in each section and the price you pay is the price of the entree which is between $65-80 per person). The restaurant itself is nicely decorated (feels like you are in an upscale cabin) with a few tables and some tables outside. They bring out bread to the table with olive oil and tomato puree, but my gripe is they brought 4 small slices of bread in a basket to our table of 4. We had to ask for more bread twice (once to soak up the sauce from the appetizers). They could definitely be more generous with the bread, but that is minor. For my appetizer I ordered the gnocchi (brown butter sauce with crispy prosciutto, sage and mushrooms) which was absolutely delicious, I just wish it was a slightly bigger portion. I know it is a starter, but I always want more than 6 or so gnocchi. The texture was perfect, pillowy and soaked up the sauce nicely. For my entree I ordered the beef medallions in a green peppercorn sauce with asparagus and potatoes au gratin. This dish was also divine (though I could have done with fewer peppercorns). The meat was cooked perfectly and was a nice sized portion (6 medium slices of steak). The asparagus and au gratin were very tasty and went well with the dish. Others had the halibut with farrow which they enjoyed, especially the tomato jam on top of the fish though I think the beef was the better of the two dishes. There were 4 desserts and 4 of us so we tried all four. There was a blood orange sorbet (way too sour for my liking), bananas foster cake, ice cream with fresh berries and a chocolate bread pudding. We enjoyed them all (others like the sorbet) and one in our group said the desserts were the best course. Overall we had a really nice meal and it is fairly good value for the quality and for being a 3 course menu. The only thing to improve here is the service. They only had 3 servers we saw and while our waitress was friendly, she seemed new and overwhelmed. We had to ask for out water to be refilled a few times, for more bread (we asked, it did not arrive and we had to ask again), and she did not come by our table often. She had forgotten a request to put a sauce on the side (no big deal) and we had to flag her down for the bill. Again not a huge detractor, but for an upscale restaurant you would expect more attentive service. All that said, the food was fantastic and I would recommend coming here for dinner.

I loved it so much we extended our stay another night (from two to three nights)... well had I not extended it it would have been 5 stars. However since we had gotten up early the previous morning I'm talking 3 am to drive into park before sunrise, we hoped to sleep in, but I was awoken by a LOT of noise around 6 am. I was so sad as the previous two nights were barely short of perfect. I literally had to go investigate where this loud banging was coming from... it was behind a closed "employee door" and I believe it was laundry and there must have been boots in the dryer or something that was banging every 3 seconds. Cry face. So I guess the walls and ceilings aren't as sound proof as I had originally thought, I also stayed at a time where it was not sold out so that may have helped my first impression. I recommend very much if you are a deep sleeper. I would most likely stay again as well but ask for maybe an end of the hall room away from laundry. Also service was fantastic and the two men we encountered working were soooo friendly and nice and we liked chatting with them. Breakfast I didn't have but hubs said it was a great layout. I definitely should note the Bed and pillows were comfy. It was a softer bed but still supportive and my bed at home is pretty dang firm and I slept great (other than above). West Yellowstone is adorable and don't miss out on the Buffalo bar.
