Jana called that morning to postpone my pickup time from 11am to 5pm. I showed up to pick it up and she wouldn't answer the phone or door. Finally at 5pm she answered the phone and told me the cake wasn't ready. She blamed it on family issues but I got my own too. What a disappointment. Be careful if you order from her.

The icing was not put on thick enough and It was nothing like what was ordered. The cake was dry. The cupcakes were all chocolate-not the 3 special flavors that was ordered and paid for. The icing tasted like it came out of a Duncan Hines can. The grooms cake looked like a hot mess and stuff just thrown on it and part of it not covered with icing. Needless to say this lady should NOT be doing cakes. So unprofessional, disorganized and seems to always have personal matters. She even met with the wedding party 4 times before the wedding. Like who is DRUNK and has an obligation to provide a service to people. Even the venue people couldn't believe it.

First she dipped the rim of my cup in some salty, spicy chili powder, then lined the inside of my cup with the Chamoy sauce, which is sweet, salty, sour, spicy. Then she loaded my cup with three or four scoops of mango ice cream, which really is more like sorbet. It was topped it off with some fresh mango and the tamarind straw, which is just more salty sweet, sour, spiciness. All in all, it's a very lovely thing! The mango ice cream/sorbet tasted just like really sweet mangoes and was extremely smooth, with no icy bits at all, which was delightful and I thoroughly enjoyed my dessert. It is a bright yellow building at the edge of Sedalia's "historic downtown", so it's hard to miss. That is what intrigued me enough to look into the place, The bright yellow! I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 4 because during our last visit, my card was charged an extra $10 and some change a day after we ate there. We received a receipt showing only the $22 we paid for our meal, so the extra charge was unexpected and confusing. I still have no idea where it came from. The meal itself was a great deal for two people, but the surprise charge left a bad taste. If we do stop here again we will only be using cash. Overall, it's an okay place for a quick bite, but I'd definitely recommend keeping an eye on your card transactions afterward.
