The Mayor was there as well giving recognition for the event and all involved. Also a tricky tray and 50/50. Food was supplied from many of local and near local eateries. Just got home from a fundraiser at the Fiesta. Very disappointed. No Handicapped parking, which I believe is against the law. No valet parking was available. There was a choice of chicken or salmon. A salad was served, then a dish of cold ziti with marinara sauce, followed by the entree. Everyone agreed , the potatoes were good! Protein was tasteless. I've been to a number of weddings over the years, at the Fiesta. I hope I never have to go back again. read more

We were very unhappy with our event last night 12/7. We arrived, the place was still a disaster from the prior event. I understand our event didn't start until 730, but it was 615 and the floor had garbage all over it. Butter, cake, garbage, it was disgusting. I ran around looking for someone to clean up and 98% of the people I found didn't even speak English so I could translate my needs to clean. I have no problem with other cultures or languages but I was in a panic mode to make this happen before 150 guests arrived to our event. I made it happen but under my delegation and I don't even work there! Then, the room was not setup or ready - I had to execute what to do to everyone where and what to do to the room at 7pm. The bartender was beyond rude to everyone, including our vendors. She didn't want to help anyone and was very clearly annoyed. In addition, the staff took forever to clean up the tables when food was there. The staff was a 1/10 to be honest. The food was awful, the drinks watered down and barebones alcohol/low shelf level. This was extremely disappointing as we look for a spot to call home for all our corporate events but this won't be the one. I can take an outdated venue - as this is, but the poor service and failure to set up without my delegation and push, is completely unacceptable. I understand it's hard to find staff, but the team needs training and additional support to help them for large events. They're not able to handle big events and honestly shouldn't be in the service industry if that's the case. We had a poor experience at this venue and won't be back again. For reference we were in Flamenco room- it's old and really outdated. The valet guys were very nice but that's all honestly. read more

I attended a Wedding their yesterday and I was the least bit impressed. For starters, there were two Weddings happening at the same time but no signage directing traffic. For the first 10 minutes my husband and I were taking part of a strangers Wedding. The FOOD was mediocre at best. They had some different pasta dishes, mussels, shrimp, eggplant rolentini which all tasted bland. Then there was a quesadilla station which took forever to prepare and wasn't worth the wait. I waited for like what seemed forever only to receive the corner slice with 3 black beans and cheese. The Pernil/ Roast Pork was completely raw and had a horrible smell that almost made my husband barf. For the sit down dinner portion, you had the choice of Salmon, Chicken, or Filet Mignon. I opted for the Salmon which was salty but others at the table expressed the Steak and Chicken being great. The staff seemed rushed and quick to remove your plates off the table. One of the guest at the table was still eating and the waitress rushed to grab her plate. Towards the end of the night they had a presentation with fire on a silver platter with liquor and cinnamon. Someone please tell me what is the point of that? It is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. They throw cinnamon on the fire to make it sparkle but then when its all over you have cinnamon all over the dance floor and ppl sliding all over the place. Im giving them one star because the Bartender was super friendly and worked hard and the valet parking went pretty smooth. I wouldn't regard this place as a Wedding venue in my opinion. read more

I had recently attended a wedding at Fiesta and I was curious of how the ceremony and reception was going to be held in this new day and age of social distancing and masks. So when we had arrived, I had immediately noticed that the entryway below the building was converted into where the reception will be held. The staff was preparing the area with tables which were all distanced apart from each other. We had proceeded to where the ceremony was taking place in the Rose Room. Upon entry there was a table of face masks and hand sanitizer and the seats for the guests were all spaced apart. It was a beautiful space with giant windows as the backdrop for the ceremony. The cocktail hour and reception took place under the building. They had transformed their driveway/entryway into a their outdoor reception area. The cocktail hour had servers bringing small appetizers and as well as tables with food in chafing dishes. Good variety! The dinner was a sit down dinner with a choice of steak, chicken, and salmon and a starter salad. Dinner was served fairly quickly and tasted good! The Fiesta had done a great job with adjusting to the current rules in this time of this pandemic for a wedding celebration. And it was nice to see the extra lengths that they had done to ensure everyones safety while at their venue. read more

This banquet hall has been around for many years, and you can not miss it. On the other hand, the entrance can be easily missed, because it is located on an exit off of Route 17 South. For starters, there is valet staff on site with a parking lot that fits many vehicles. You can also park yourself if you sneak through the valet. it is a huge building with a main room that was built more recent. It has an indoor bar that is open on both ends; to the reception room and dinner room. Along with this setup is a big outdoor balcony, but your view is nothing great. There are also two other smaller venues in the other part of the building. These two venues look older, like built in the 1980's?? As for the food, I couldn't rave about anything in particular. It is decent, and most of the time I've come here it's been buffet style with a carving station. Depending on your budget this place might suit your needs. Fiesta is an event venue conveniently located on Route 17 in Wood-ridge. For even more convenience, there's a hotel right next door (not associated with Fiesta) that's literally within walking distance for party goers and guests. I reviewed this place the other day completely underwhelmed by it and a bit disappointed in my son and daughter-in-law's decision. Well here we are a few days later and my original disappointment has turned to joy. I've been blown away by how Fiesta showed up and showed out. Their food was hot, fresh and cooked to perfection. Their staff was beyond kind and accommodating! The place was gorgeous - tastefully decorated and magnificent. I'm completely blown away and I never thought my opinion of Fiesta would do a 360 but here we are only a few days later and here I am highly recommending it. I've been to the Fiesta for a few events now and I think they're a very decent venue. Lots of rooms to choose from and each one has its own charm. A lot of the decor can't be a little dated but it still has a very elegant feel to it. Parking is a little tricky sometimes. For a big event it can get messy but for an event with less people it's pretty simple. I've never had a problem with the staff either. Always polite, professional and courteous. The Fiesta falls a little short on the food sometimes but does make up for it with all the varieties they have. My most recent experience there was for brunch and the menu was really fun. Tons of options to choose from. This is a nice place to have a baby shower, birthday party or sweet sixteen. It's pretty convenient too because it's right on Rt. 17. read more

Great venue and great food. The staff was attentive and was there to help. I really enjoyed the fruit platter they had on the table from the start. Definitely can clean the pallet or just be refreshing! We had a choice of salad which I thought was interesting. I chose the one with goat cheese. Dressed well and nice portion size. We were then served Penne la Vodka. Very different from other Penne la Vodka's I have eaten. It was a bit more cheesier, more flavor and had slices of mushrooms. I enjoyed it. Absolutely loved the choices for dinner. I ordered the Filet Mignon and it was cooked to perfection. Also, very big portion! I also enjoyed the cake and ice cream served. Christmas of 2019 my company held a holiday party here. I'll start off by saying that parking can be a real issue. We stayed parked in the car, partially on the highway for quite a bit. I understand there's probably nothing they can do about it, the location is what it is, but it was a long wait. The entrance we went in, has an underground feel to it. They put a little bridge/garden area at the door, to make it seem a little "sweeter" of an entrance. We were immediately met with staff whom were always polite and smiling. We were easily shown where we could put our coats and told where to head to. The venue itself it big and feels spacious. Our holiday event was held in two rooms, divided by a bar. The multi-room layout gave a much better feeling of not being crammed all in one room. The rooms themselves were big as well, one lined with windows, even if only to the garage area. The food, unfortunately was a huge disappointment. My meat was cold and dry, and honestly, quite bland. It's basically a big dinner party. The food has got to be worth the price. Keith, Gary and their team at The Fiesta made our wedding ceremony and reception a truly magical experience for us and our guests. Many of our family members and friends called or texted a few days after our wedding and they all indicated what a wonderful time they had at The Fiesta. The food at the cocktail hour and the reception was presented so professionally and everything was delicious. The Venetian desert selections were all very tasty! We had an after party following our reception and The Fiesta brought in cases of White Castle burgers, made dirty water dogs and pizzas as well. We partied well into the night! I need to mention the servers and the bar tenders as well. The servers couldn't do enough for us and were so customer service focused. The liquor was "top shelf" and everyone enjoyed our signature cocktails; it was clear the bar tenders have excellent mixology skills! The Fiesta recommend a Florist that transformed the venue in what looked like a fairytale setting and every aspect of the floral decorations and arrangements were very elegant. In addition to the Florist, the Fiesta also recommend our DJ, Photographer and Videographer. The DJ played a great mix of music for all age groups and the volume and special effects lighting was perfect. Our photographer and videographer were very creative and they put everyone at ease as they were taking pictures and shooting video footage. Came here for a baby baptism. it was very nice. the room is very pretty. My friend had the buffet choice and it was delicious for banquet food. I was just at an event and when a request for another cup of coffee was made, the waitress said she would find out if she could get one. She never returned to the table to let us know if she could get one or not. Meanwhile Another waitress was passing by to another table with coffee mugs and a pot. Another family (who never received coffee initially) was seated across the table and when they asked for coffee, they were told no. I never heard of a one cup of coffee per person max at ANY event hall. When the maitre d' was told of the situation, he did nothing but ignore it and basically said oh well. I went here two days in a row.. Friday was the Palisades Park fire chief's dinner & Saturday was Ridgefield's. Had a lot of fun mostly because of the OPEN BAR! They have a pretty full bar (no red bull), I wish they had gentlemen's jack. Stock up on the cocktail hour!! You get a tray of cold meats like salami and prosciutto, sometimes shrimp cocktail, calamari, crab cakes, a few types of pasta, and a section with 2 different types of roasts the fiesta staff cuts for you. During the cocktail hour they have people walking around with the classic pigs in a blanket, egg rolls, empanadas, etc. The reason fiesta received 3 stars from me was because of the main course. The Caesar salad I had both nights was delicious, the pasta plate after that is meh, but the entree is not so good. You can tell they order cheap filet mignons and veggies. The server asks how would you like the steak cooked, however you always receive medium well. On day 2 I ordered the chicken which was slightly better, but nonetheless still worthy of 3 stars. The desert hour is pretty awesome! They have a big chocolate fountain and a Belgian waffle maker! I'd recommend this place for sweet 16s or graduation parties. I was here for a sorority formal and let me tell you, any place that can endure 100 screaming women gets a thumbs up in my book. The guys stuck around near the bar area. This was one area where things did not run smoothly. The bartenders had difficulty serving the entirety of the bar and some people were left standing there for 30 min or more. I know having almost 200 people can be overwhelming, but this place should be used to that. The food was pretty good. We didn't have anything outrageous but the pasta was done well and the fillet mignon was right on the money. The decor definitely added to the experience and the dance floor was big enough for everyone. All in all, this was a positive experience for everyone in attendance. Went here this past Sunday for my friend's wedding. I had been to the venue when I was younger for my Pop Warner football banquets but it had nearly 14 years since the last time I was there. When I arrived with my friends, the first thing that I noticed was the nice walk in that they had. There was a mini waterfall next to the main doors which gave the entrance a nice scenic landscape for guests to take pictures at. When we walked inside we were lead up the marble staircase to the reception. The reception area was remarkable. It had two main rooms; one where the band & tables were & the other a common area where guests could hang out as well as take pictures in the photo booth. There was a wrap around bar that was fully staffed so you could order a drink from either side. Both rooms were very large & there was plenty of room in both to relax & enjoy the wedding. For food, the appetizers on this night were penne & vodka with mushrooms as well as a salad choice (I went with Cesar). Both of these appetizers were delicious. For the main course one had a choice of either chicken, beef, or fish. I chose the beef & was treated to a filet mignon with garlic potatoes & asparagus. The filet was perfectly cooked & had a lot of flavor to it. For desert, guest were treated to the wedding cake with ice cream & strawberries. Overall, I had a great time at this venue. The staff at the bar was friendly & got drink orders out quickly & the on site manager, Joseph, walked around the entire night & checked on every table to see how they were doing. You can tell that this place takes a lot of pride in their receptions & it shows. I would recommend this place for anyone who is having some sort of banquet or reception. read more

I had the privilege of hosting my best friends baby shower here on 8/20 and had the Caribbean room. It was a perfect size for the 85 guest that we had. The room was spacious and they set up the room perfectly. We had Hector as our maitre de and he was super friendly and did a perfect job and helped me along the way with what I needed. Though our room wasn't one of the newly renovated ones it was perfect and easily accessible for our guest. I would definitely host another event here. read more

Everyone was very accommodating and adhered to all our requests. All our guests were boasting about how beautiful everything was and how wonderful the food was. Just had my wedding here a month ago, and let me tell you- everything went as smoothly as possible. I planned my wedding in 4 months and while that sounds crazy and impossible, much of it was due to the help of Keith and his staff. Because I am an indecisive person who gets overwhelmed at too many options, I was thankful that Keith had pre-selected some options for cocktail hour and entrees. Of course I got to review it and could have changed things around, but it was fine by me! And folks at my wedding were RAVING about the food. Not only that, but the workers had brought my groom and me our own dishes in our private room so that we wouldn't be bombarded by our guests. A full stomach = a very happy bride. Other aspects that made this planning process so easy was the venue's relationship with the bakery, providing us with a full four tier cake that was beautifully decorated with butter cream frosting and our choice of cake and filling. We didn't have to transport anything ourselves and it was just there for us to enjoy at the reception. Set-up was non existent on our part, they did everything for us. And the venue was SO beautiful I was tearing as I walked down the aisle (because it was my first time seeing it all decorated). Not to mention the amazing chandeliers that make you feel like a million bucks!!! And did I mention that I was out of state until the day before my wedding so this was all done remotely? I didn't even see the venue until three weeks before, which would scare some brides, but I honestly had nothing to complain about or fear with this place. They allowed us to have a rehearsal at the venue the day before (on a Friday afternoon) and provided us with a coordinator on the day of the wedding to make sure everything goes smoothly and cater to our every need/request. The venue itself is beautiful, with a nice balcony to take pictures on, a fancy parking lot entrance, a separate bridal suite with elegant interior and full out vanity to get ready at. There is also a suite for the groom (I didn't get to see) Lastly, I just wanted to emphasize how accommodating they were, yet how flexible they were. The only thing that needed to be in house was the food, but everything else was up to you. Of course I took full advantage of everything they provided (table cloths, napkins, any decorations) but I brought in my own flowers, DJ, photographers, name tags and menus. So it's the perfect mix of structure and flexibility. It was the wedding of my dreams and I can't thank fiesta banquets enough!! read more

A great banquet hall. Out of the 3 banquet halls that my workplace has hosted our holiday parties at the past few years, Fiesta is by far my most favorite one. The valet dropoff lobby looks very nice, in fact almost looks like a spa place, with all the natural cut stones. The hall that we were at perfectly fit 50ish of us and still enough room for dance floors and photobooth. The foods were delicious! Chicken francaise was definitely my favorite.
